Review 2：It was a grand place for destination dining with the tradicional restaurant for a fine dining twist to traditional Rioja food and the fabulous 2-Michelin star El Portal restaurant.

Review 4：This hotel was superb. Every little detail was taken care of from the checkin, staff, meals, experience. The restaurant is a 2-star Michelin establishment and it was the best food we've ever eaten. Highly recommended!

Review 6：Ezcaray is beautiful and the village and its people are charming. The hotel was a lovely mix of modern and traditional. The traditional restaurant was excellent!
Review 7：They were doing remodelling work and didn't inform us prior to the drills going at 1030 our first morning. Good news is all the rooms will be fresh by mid-July 2015.
Review 8：Restaurant was very good and reasonably priced for the quality of food. Hotel service was good, a bit impersonal but it is a tourist area. The folks in town are very friendly. Great walking area along the river and interesting town for a short walk about.

Review 12：The location was perfect and the village is very picturesque. A great hotel and base for visiting la rioja. Ezcaray is beautiful and the restaurants are great especially the tapas bar at casa masip. Was great to have the modern rooms but also then as we were a bigger group we also had one of the apartments which was a great size. Obviously the food here is one of the highlights. Just gorgeous! And very friendly hotel staff.

Review 17：Everything from the room to the wonderful birthday lunch for my husband in their El Portal Restaurant. Breakfast was marvellous - voted the best ever by my family. The staff were extremely helpful. We will definitely return for a longer stay another time - a perfect hotel for a relaxing weekend.
Review 18：When the booking details arrived it said there was a balcony, the hotel says that none of these rooms have balconies. If we go again I would like a room looking at the church, not the side street.
