Reviews for Hotel La Enrea

Review 1:The restaurant was a disaster. Poor choice, food almost inedible and service extremely slow by disinterested waiter

Review 2:Our room was large pleasant. The bed was very comfortable and our dog well received.

Review 3:The hotel is well situated in the lovely village of Montefrio. It is well off the English tourist map and the staff have very limited English. It is a rural, family run hotel with facilities appropriate to the price. We enjoyed staying for a few days whilst seeing family and friends in the area.

Review 4:Male receptionist was grumpy. No wifi in rooms. Gloomy reception. Restaurant/bar was not open one evening and it was hard work finding somewhere to eat elsewhere before 8.30pm in Montefrio. No kettle in room so no morning/evening tea.

Review 5:Receptionist/breakfast provider was friendly and helpful. Outside terrace is pretty and comfortable. Hotel is walking distance to Montefrio. Good lunch. Quiet setting.

Review 6:Very hard to find and had to ask several times in the town until we got directions . Satnav couldn't find it. Also the bar wasn't open until 8pm.

Review 7:Lovely courtyard to have an evening meal and very good and attentive chef

Review 8:Smell in bathroom Poor breakfast No restaurant or drinks available first night Had to go bank and draw cash to pay as card machine broken

Review 9:The hotel was somewhat dated and dark although Clean and functional. There was no lift facilities. Although it was within walking distance to centre it was situated at top of steep incline steep hill

Review 10:The room was quite dated in design, I.E. there are no spare electricalplugs for recharging mobile phones, etc. You must unplug a bedside lamp. There's neither elevator nor doorman to help lug bags up the stairs.

Review 11:This is a pleasant hotel just outside of the small town of Montefrio. The room and bathroom were both large, clean and functional. It wasextremely warm during our visit, so the air conditioning unit wasuseful. We ate there for both lunch (inside in the restaurant, good) anddinner. They have a nice large patio which is equipped with a huge wood-fired grill. It seemed as if half the town showed up at around 10pm fordinner. We ordered a salad and a grilled bonito steak, both to beshared. Both were overly large and excellent. Either one alone wouldhave satisfied us. The area is known for excellent goat cheese, agenerous of which was included in the salad. The inch-thick bonito steakwas grilled side-and-side to perfection. This and several tintos deverano all for 35 euros!

Review 12:The receptionist was a lovely, helpful and pleasant girl

Review 13:Nothing

Review 14:Fantastic food in restaurant Friendly and very helpful staff

Review 15:Good restaurant friendly staff my second visit will defiantly use again

Review 16:Excellent hotel and service. Nothing too much trouble. Food good.

Review 17:The hotel was comfortable, very clean and the location excellent - in the countryside but within walking distance of the village of Montefrio.

Review 18:Great location, nice quiet courtyard and within a short distance of town centre

Review 19:No hair dryer and no pool as was advertised

Review 20:Woman staff was very helpful.Meal at the restaurant very good.

Review 21:Thin walls, not much going on.

Review 22:Located within walking distance of town. Staff helpful. Everything clean & tidy. Free parking. Lovely views.

Review 23:We stumbled across the city of Montefrio while cruising between Granada and Malaga. We were charmed by the city and found this clean and comfortable hotel. If our schedule hadn't been so tight, we would certainly have spent more time here.

Review 24:Nothing!

Review 25:Beautiful hotel in an old converted mill, on the outskirts of the lovely village of Montefrío. We happened to be here for the festival of Los Tres Reyes, just for one night. I think we were the only ones staying in the hotel (at least, we were the only ones having breakfast the next morning), but the hotel still felt to be as warm and welcoming as though they were full. Both staff members we dealt with were professional and friendly. The room was big, with a comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Decoration was minimalist, but we liked it. Breakfast was simple and tasty. Wifi also worked perfectly in all places in the hotel.

Review 26:A mini bar/fridge in the room would have been good. Also, the power and internet kept going off.

Review 27:Extremely helpful female staff members. The breakfast was delicious,as was the dinner in the Hotel restaurant.Very comfortable beds, spacious room with welcome air conditioning.Easy access to town and adequate parking.

Review 28:Hotel Enrea is advertised as having a swimming pool. Unfortunately, it was nowhere to be found. I found that a bit deceptive to customers. Moreover, during the evening, a friend of the owner, who obviously had way too much to drink, was throwing up in the lobby. Very unprofessional.

Review 29:Spacious rooms, good bed and nice views.

Review 30:On arrival at 4:30 P.M. I asked what time the bar/restaurant opened, only to be told it was closed... And wouldn't re-open during our stay.We were offered no reason or apology and we were unable to get so muchas a coffee until the morning as there were no tea/coffee makingfacilities in the room. We were told if we wanted breakfast, this wouldbe available only between 9:00 til 10:00 A.M. but when we went down at9:00 in the morning the hotel was deserted, and the hotel door waslocked, as was the breakfast area ! At 9:15 A.M. the owner turned up andwithout apology made us coffee and toast, but was unable to provide anyfruit juices... So we drank our coffee and left. This is no longer ahotel.... It is simply a room rental..... With very poor communication !We will never return !!!

Review 31:The room was beautifully clean and well decorated...... Noproblems there.

Review 32:Considerate and helpful staff. Good bedroom with fine view. Excellent meals

Review 33:kind staff, friendly and flexible

Review 34:noisy sometimes at night

Review 35:friendly staff peaceful

Review 36:Ideal location within walking distance of town. Friendly helpful staff and excellent accomodation. Car Parking on site.

Review 37:The quality of soap can be improved.

Review 38:Staff was friendly.

Review 39:The location, the style, the food, the staff.

Review 40:None of the staff spoke any English and I couldn't get an evening meal
