Review 1：We were really happy to get a place at that hotel. It's indeed a special place and all the stuff is dedicated to make you feel at home and enjoy your stay. People on the Canarian islands are very warm hearted and friendly, but this was even topped at that place. Sitting outside for breakfast on the terai with an extraordinary view make the start of the day so special ... And at nit you can sit there with a wine and enjoy all the photos you have taken. The rooms are really special and comfy and I slept in that bed like a baby. Whenever we had a problem to solve or a question regarding our trip they were there to help you patiently. Thank you Isabel and all your colleagues for the wonderful experience and hopefully we will come back one day. Definitely recommend that place!!!
Review 2：Really loved everything about Hotel Rural Ibo Alfaro, beautiful hotel, super cosy rooms and amazingly comfortable beds. Leticia and Isabel couldn't have been more helpful, really friendly. Everything was really easy, we wish we could have stayed longer, we will be back. Really loved the decor and the atmosphere of the hotel; without doubt the best place we have stayed on La Gomera. and so affordable for what you get - unbelievable luxury at this price.

Review 6：A family run hotel, very welcoming and well recommended. The service is very personal and the accommodation very homely. Excellent breakfast well presented with a fair variety of content. The panoramic views from the hotel are wonderful - especially for those taking breakfast on the terrace. The location is ideal for access to local / long distance walks. Restaurants and bars 15 min walk, or short drive.
Review 7：Just a minor comment. I asked to keep my luggage until evening (luggage storage), and they were a bit surprised. Nevertheless, the staff has helped us a lot with that, and at the end we could store our belongings in a room that was not occupied. I would suggest to offer luggage storage as a standard service at the Hotel.
Review 8：The position of the Hotel is stunning, with an incredible view on the mountains. Be careful, the road is somewhat difficult, especially in the evening. The Hotel is nicely decorated, the staff is incredibly kind and the breakfast is great. I recommend the Hotel 100% !
Review 9：- Maybe some observation we made, in particular ma girlfriend were the ants in the appartment (but the house is surrounded by nature and therefore one has to expect this and I don't care. - our room was a bit small - In our room the Wifi did not work, it would be of advantage to install it, so that every room has wifi and not only in specific rooms or areas
Review 10：Beautiful house in a less touristic area. the house is amazing, cozy and nicely made. I have only seen twice such a nice house during my stay ( maybe these are canarian house). Therefore one could also spend several days there. Service is really nice and helpful. I can definitely recommend this place and it would have been a pitty not to stay there

Review 21：This is a perfect place to get away from it all! A really well run hotel which was beautifully maintained and immaculate. It is a quiet location which is a great base for walking on la gomera. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and there were baskets of local oranges and bananas to enjoy in the lounge. The staff were really lovely and helpful.
Review 22：It was a very cold week on La Gomera, and we had a cold room with no heating. We were moved willingly by Alex. The lack of a comfortable lounge and the absence of any heating were the only drawbacks.

Review 26：A beautiful hotel on a beautiful island. Quiet location, ideal for relaxing and hiking. Nothing was too much trouble for the proprietors, always ready to give us information on walking and swimming in the area. (There was also a good supply of tourist information to hand in the sitting room.) A must-see/stay on La Gomera!
Review 27：Room was small and had no heating so felt a bit damp. Shower room needed updating. WIFI only available in very small area. All walking books, leaflets etc were in German - some books could be made available for English speaking guests.

Review 30：The owners made us feel so welcome, we felt right at home from the first moment. The location is excellent, with great views of the valley and even of the Teide on Tenerife! Hermigua is a nice little villlage with good restaurants (great tips from the owners!) and centrally located on the Island. We were a bit unlucky that the eastern road through the national park was closed due to storm damage so that our drives to El Cedro and Santiago took longer than they normally would. However, as driving on the Island is spectacular, we didn't mind that much :) The suite we had was beautifully decorated and very spacious. We liked the absence of a tv, it made the place even more peaceful. The breakfast is also amazing, so much choice, with many local specialties and very healthy choices too! There's even home-baked bread and different choices of fresh local cheese and meat everyday. The owners go out of their way to help with anything they can, from suggesting suitable walks depending on your wishes and the weather, to booking whale watching tours. The atmosphere is very cosy, and all guests were very friendly to each other. In sum, we enjoyed a wonderful honeymoon at Ibo Alfaro! Thank you Alex and Silke for your great care!

Review 74：This was our second visit to this hotel. It is in a great location for walking and exploring the island. It is a small well run hotel which suits those wanting a quiet break ( no tv or phones in rooms etc) Alex is very helpful with suggestions and advice. We are already planning to return!
