Review 1：No air conditioning was a big factor room very stuffy therefore not good sleep at night. Would not return just for that reason . Beds also hard and uncomfortable

Review 7：we sent a fax from the hotel and paid cash (only 6 euros) - but got no receipt. We were therefore charged for it again when we left. (Not a good way to leave the hotel for such a small sum). Initially we were offered a horrible room - but on asking we given an updated and much better one. Kitchen facilities are minimum - there is no hob.

Review 8：Hotel is at the better end of Puerto del Carmen; hence location is good because some of the area is horrid. The staff are wonderfully helpful. Breakfasts are excellent and fresh, changing regularly. 10mins walk to port area and fabulous seafood restaurants.

Review 17：The bedroom is very stuffy and needs air conditioning. The loungers were covered with towels before 9 am every morning but were not used until much later. A charge of €5 per day for a lounger on the balcony is very expensive.

Only negative is the bar at night is very poor and u inviting downstairs. Hotel has lovely seating area and lit up patio and music. Food for breakfast is excellent. Could do with snacks at pool bar. Pool pretty cold but clean and gardens spotless. Highly recommend.

Review 26：The staff were not that eager to please and slow to respond to your needs. I wouldn't call their attitude friendly, although neither was it hostile. Whilst I was there I got stuck in the lift when the electricity failed. I rang and rang the alarm bell. The person I eventually spoke to on the lift microphone couldn't speak English. Despite sounding the alarm, which was near to reception, no-one came to assist me. I eventually realised I could get free by prising open the lift doors. at this stge I was extremely upset, sweating and shaking. No-one even apologised to me.

Review 35：The kitchen facility is an absolute joke.After banging my head four times I realised what the little notice meant about hitting your head .If you are taller than 4` 11`` you have to stoop to reach into the sink. the microwave /combi forget it .EAT OUT or in the dining room.Many young families complained about the kitchen facilities.

Review 40：We travelled with daughters and their partners. We had three apartments in the complex. Great pool complex with free towels, lovely choice at breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. Aircon was great in the rooms and we were facilitated by the staff in our choice of room.

Review 41：we did not know you had to pay extra for the higher floors--never had to before. they have upgraded the apartments and have gotten rid of the cooker and replaced it with a microwave which is positioned above head height. safety concern.

Review 51：Thought the bed was rather uncomfortable. My partner and I slept on the sofa some nights because it was more comfortable. Pillows were somewhat too flat as well. Requested a room off the ground floor 7 months before our stay but our room was on the ground floor.

Although we didn't need the kids entertainer, she was fantastic with the children making the activities fun but safe as well. Review 67：Beds too difficult to get around the pool. We went for a rest but you would have to get out of bed each morning very early to stand any chance of getting a bed by the pool. Therefore we went to the beach every day for 3 weeks! Beds a little to hard and self catering facilities are very restricted compared to previous years. Review 69：The only downside is people getting up at 5.30 am yes 5.30 to put towels on sun-beds. This has been going on since our first visit 14 years ago. Not sure how you will keep everyone happy but there has to be a solution to this. Also WiFi very poor.

Review 70：As this is our sixth time staying in the Fariones Playa suffice it to say we love almost everything about it. It's location, staff, facilities and activities are super. A special mention to Clara who has always been so friendly pleasant and helpful thanks Clara.

Review 89：Just back from 5 nights in the Fariones Playa. Fantastic hotel. Room was very spacious and clean with an awesome view (room 265) and on same floor as the supermarket! Pool was clean and plenty of sunbeds available even at busy times-best of all you have direct access to the beach!. We went for breakfast included. The only nice part of the hot breakfast was the omelettes.

Review 96：Location, Location, Location - it is a Gem. The complex itself is really beautiful. Private beach, lovely pool and grounds. The Staff were extremely nice and overall we had a really lovely holiday. We were moved from the Playa due to construction which was handled very professionally. Review 97：There is direct access to the beach, but the sunbeds on the beach need to be paid separately. Nobody told us, it was quite misleading.

Review 100：This hotel is in a great location, on the beach and close to both the main street and the port. I liked the continental breakfast with its huge choice of breads, meats, cheeses, fruits, yoghurts and cakes alongside home made jams etc. Our room (306) was very quiet and had a sheltered balcony and a fantastic view of the beach. The bathrobes and slippers were a nice touch.The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Carmen. English TV ( BBC1 BBC2 and ITV1) was appreciated.

Review 102：Why oh why do they not inforce the putting of towels on pool seats. For the whole week that we were there one family of about 10 were out at the crack of dawn putting out their towels on the best seats around the pool, holding on to them for all of the day and depriving others of using them. It should be on a first come first served basis as we all are entitled to the same facilities.

Review 121：1.small dinning room for number of guest. 2.first time we ever booked a holiday where you pay on arrival,( hold onto your receipts) we had a call from reception the next morning saying we had not paid, I said yes we did and I have a receipt. 3. mosquitoes were a problems, we had over 50 bites between us never had a problems like this before in Lanzarote, had to buy spray for our room and keep doors closed to our room at all times. 4. never used the swimming pool area or pool, sunbeds covered with towels from early morning, its mad 99% sunbeds taken with approx 30% occupancy think the hotel should address this situation.

Review 127：the only gripe I have got is the much reviewed pool area, the area is nowhere near big enough to cope with the amount of persons which use the area, this could be easily rectified by enlarging the area by 10 metres towards the sea, this area would then accommodate all the sun beds and make it possible to walk around the pool easier in safety. Beds a bit hard.

The first time was in October 2012 with my adult daughter and we both loved it then also. Very comfortable and the breakfast is just great, a huge selection. Easy access to the beach from the pool area which was a great plus for us as we could swim in the sea and dry off by the pool no need to haul anything with you. Very central to New and Old town for restaurants. there is a good shop in the complex. Sunbeds very comfortable.

Review 135：Poolside beds with parasol were booked with towels from 7 am while it was still dark, despite the rules. Bring your flashlight to help find a bed in the mornings.
