Reviews for Hotel Jarama

Review 1:The walls are poorely soundproofed; I was able to hear and understand my neighbours talking. The sink in the bathroom was blocked and no toilet brush was available

Review 2:This place is about 15 minutes away from the Bus Station (on foot) and some 5 - 7 minutes to the Plaza Mayor and the Ethnological Museum. It has a restaurant with fair prices and a decent choice of menues right next to it. Besides, there is a 24 hour mini-supermarket next to the hotel.

Review 3:Only easy to be found if you have the help of people or of the tourist office. There are no signs. Parking is something of good luck. No proper breakfast

Review 4:In such a well furnished room it was surprising to find that cleanliness was less than perfect: there was a hair stuck to the underside of the toilet seat, ironically under the banner announcing "disinfected toilet", and a few more on the bathtub drain. A silverfish was spotted crossing the hallway floor (never made it to the other wall...) Avoid separately paid breakfast

Review 5:Room's furniture and fixtures looked like new: they were modern and with no damages. Working air conditioner was a blessing in July. Thick curtains prevented an undesired early waking, unlike many other hotels. Free parking

Review 6:the area is bad, the whole city has a bad feel - security an issue, many residents are rude and community unsettled. Hotel full of residents' noise. No lift.

Review 7:Room clean and spacious. You must use hotel secure parking.

Review 8:Not a bad experience but the breakfast was only average. I suppose the cost of the breakfast should have signalled that it was not going to be a full buffet. It was, however, more than adequate for the average eater.

Review 9:We had second thoughts when we pulled up outside the hotel but these were soon dismissed when we were taken to our room by the receptionist, carrying our bags for us. The hotel is a mere 10 mins walk to the Plaza Major.

Review 10:No elevator

Review 11:Price Free parking nearby Cleanliness Location is good if you want to go by car and need a parking spot, if you go by yourself then probabbly you'll find a better spot near the city center

Review 12:The hotel is right above a garage and we had a strong smell of exhaust gases in our bathroom (which had an opening on the ceiling). I don't know if it's a common problem or limited to our room. Also, the price was higher than in other locations we visited in the same region (sleeping in comparable accomodations).

Review 13:Good position, comfortable bed, spacious bathroom. Friendly receptionist.

Review 14:I arrived very short notice, no problem.

Review 15:it is located in a poor nighbourhood. rooms are facing street noises.

Review 16:it as private parking garage cleanig is good

Review 17:Room was comfortable; location was great.

Review 18:The first impression is not good

Review 19:Clean & tidy, good undercover parking, good restaurant

Review 20:Room basic but good. Bed comfortable. Secure parking for car in separate garage.

Review 21:value for money. Well placed to walk round central Zamora. Free garage parking - need to book.

Review 22:Reception unmanned.

Review 23:reserved parking lot (garaje) nearby, friendly staff

Review 24:Staff was extremely rude Hotel room smelled like smoke (was a non-smoking room) Wifi was terrible

Review 25:Location Free parking

Review 26:Staff did not know of our booking. Room over a motor mechanic's workshop who worked late!

Review 27:Convenient for old city, with very easy access to it. Manager tried hard to look after us, other staff seemed scared of my Spanish.

Review 28:The emergency light is too bad..they have like a presence light..and if do you have problems with that to sleep you should take something to cover your eyes..

Review 29:It's located in a good place

Review 30:I had no complaints. The place was surprisingly quiet.

Review 31:Considering the price, we were agreeably surprised. This a well placed spot to explore the old town, close to a city gate.

Review 32:Very rude staff when we arrived Sunday afternoon. They said they had no record of our Booking.com reservation. Our passport details never were taken in the 3 days we were there

Review 33:Excellent room.

Review 34:A lift would be good for luggage

Review 35:Spacious room, very clean and comfortable, and a short walk to all the historical sites. Excellent value for your money. Parking was organised without a fuss.

Review 36:For €38 for the night! Absolutely nothing.

Review 37:This hotel is a little gem. Don't be put off by the immediate area(quite residential) and outward appearance. The hotel is located withineasy walking distance of the old town. The hotel is furbished to a highstandard inside and is spotlessly clean. This hotel proved to beexceptional value for money. I would recommend it.

Review 38:The staff were not friendly at all!!

Review 39:it was a nice room, the guy at reception was not very friendly. They own the restaurant next door as well, dont bother! same again not very welcoming. But the city centre is beautiful.

Review 40:The lack of soundproofing... Which is typical in budget priced hotels inSpain... But bring earplugs if this causes a problem.

Review 41:Friendly staff and location close to the heart of the city, easy accessfor the car and safe parking in a lock up garage.

Review 42:Noisy, I could hear people in the other rooms and what I could not really stand was the smell to insecticide in the room. I had to open the window, despite of being cold and noisy, and still the smell persisted.

Review 43:I liked the price. The room was small, but nice and tidy. Comfortable bed.

Review 44:No elevator - it might be a bit tough for people with heavy luggage of in a wheelchair. A bit lack of staff (but, actually, this didn't bring any problem for us).

Review 45:Location in a quiet district of the city. Nice clean rooms with all necessary things. Private parking for reasonable price.

Review 46:The hotel is geared to locals that know you have to book in through the restaurant. As a tourist this may be a problem.

Review 47:The location and the adjoining restaurant.

Review 48:No lift, - and we can't travel light!

Review 49:Clean and comfortable, close to historical part of town.

Review 50:Lack of view

Review 51:Clealiness was good and very close to Centre.

Review 52:No one there when we tried to check in. It is just. A Room, no character.

Review 53:No lift.

Review 54:Much comfort, very clean, rooms. Free car parking. Free Wifi.

Review 55:The hotel is well located. The room was fine and clean.

Review 56:A comfortable room within easy walking distance of the city walls. Plenty of local restaurants with cheap set lunches.

Review 57:No on-duty receptionist. And noise from hallways is easily heard inrooms.

Review 58:Inside has a clean, modern look. Facilities were fine.

Review 59:Unfriendly staff ,paper thin walls.

Review 60:ionatloc

Review 61:The walls a bit too thin.

Review 62:Good people, clean, not too far from historic center, conveniente and secure parking.

Review 63:The hotel Jarama is within good walking distance of the city center of Zamora. Free garage. Just a place for sleeping.
