Review 1：Very nice and clean place. The staff is amazing and genuinly friendly and helpfull. You can tell they all care how the customer feels. Great spa to relax in, after day of hiking.

Review 4：The feeling when you walk into the front door says it all. The welcome, the ambience, the feeling that you have stepped into luxury and the old world feeling of privilege makes you want to come back time again. Breakfast was a incredible.

Review 5：Smoky bar scene: To get to the restaurant for dinner (or to leave), youwalk through a wall of smoke. Come on! Is this the film set for anAustrian version of Mad Men? Inefficient service: I asked for an extrabed pillow for my room (two pillows should be standard even in singles,providing only one seems more than a bit stingy). About 15-20 minuteslater, someone knocked on my door (and entered just a few secondsafterwards without my permission, suppose I had been in the shower orgetting dressed??) to find out what's wrong with my tv. My tv? Ihadn't even turned it on yet. The tv was fine. As for the pillow...IStopped at the front desk some time later to say I still hadn'treceived it. The staff apologized and said it would be put in my roomshortly. I went to dinner. An hour later, when I got back to my room,still no pillow!! I went back down to the front desk, pretty annoyed,there were hurried phone calls, it had been delivered to the wrong room.Finally, some minutes later the elusive pillow arrived. So-so dinner: Onthe plus side, nobody was smoking, at least not in my part of therestaurant (which is divided into several rooms). Very limited selectionof wines by the glass. Again, come on. Not everybody wants a bottle oreven a half bottle. Austria has excellent wines, the hotel can do muchbetter in its wine by the glass selection. The soup I had was very good;the chicken main course just ok. Dessert was good, but nothing to raveabout. Service was pleasant and professional, but also obviously rushed.Tiny and slow elevator that was inadequate for demand: Esp aroundcheckout time. I ended up carrying my suitcase down the stairs (andpassed one of the bell staff who just stared and didn't make eventhe slightest offer to help) Odd configuration of single rooms: To watchthat big tv, I had to sit in a chair. I couldn't really watch itfrom the bed.Note: the hotel's bus stop is one stop outside the Salzburg city zone.

Review 6：When I first heard about this hotel years ago, I decided that I shouldstay here sometime. The glowing reviews added to my interest. In August2014, I finally did. While I would never say it was a bad hotel, in theend it didn't meet my admittedly high expectations. First, what Iliked: Location -- esp in summer, this hotel is wonderfully removed fromthe crowds in Salzburg but still an easy 20 minute bus ride away. Thebus stop is right outside the hotel. Overall presentation: When youenter the hotel, you feel like you've come to a large country house.Its public rooms (lounges, restaurants etc) are attractively furnishedin a traditional style. Modern updated rooms: The room electronics andfurnishings have been tastefully brought into the 21st century. Verygood individual room climate control system. Large hd TVs (the largestTVs I've seen in a 4 star hotel). Free wifi Spacious bathroomsAttractively landscaped Mountain views
