Reviews for Pension Rosa
Review 1:Problem with a neighbour who was playing music all night. After complaining I got an other room the next day where I could not hear music from that room. The neighbour would be sent away the day after...
Review 2:Location is very good. Good parking not too far. Friendly staff although English is problem for them so we used some simple Spanish words. Good breakfast not too far.
Review 3:Very noisy on a Saturday night stay with other guests returning at up to 5 a.m. Cheap old furniture and ultra thin walls.
Review 4:Nice Spanish speaking staff. Very clean. Typical old fashioned Spanish Pension.
Review 5:Bed was very short, too short for a tall man.
Review 6:Staff did not speak English but was friendly, and tables by the reception explained how to attend the breakfast across the street in several languages. Considering this was a place I booked just to have a place to sleep, I was very pleased. Silent, clean, ok bathroom and shower.
Review 7:Smell of smoke. The shutters are screwed closed meaning no view/ability to look out the window which felt clostrophobic and dark!
Review 8:Friendly and welcoming, great value, excellent space and comfort
Review 9:Was asked to increase payment above amount confirmed on booking. The owner didn't speak English but pointed to sign showing new rates. Also bars on outside of windows meant felt a bit enclosed.
Review 10:Lovely town and good hostel. Visit nice place for breakfast.
Review 11:You could smell smoke as soon as you walked in, so it was obvious the lady and her son smoke. Its 20€ per night per person, when we decided to leave before sleeping their we headed to benidorm and found exactly the same type of stay for 37.50€ in total for the 3 of us, 2adults 1child. No one their speaks English, that's fine for me as I can speak spanish, but others that can't could find this a huge problem when wanting to explain something or to ask for something.
Review 12:My daughter loved their two doggies.
Review 13:The wi fi did not work but plenty of wi fi in bars and restaurants now days!
Review 14:The owner was very helpful. Hotel is within very easy walking distance from the tram + parking available outside. Great central position for the old town. Perfectly adequate and very clean Spanish style accommodation. Lovely place to go and have the included breakfast. Todas muy bueno!
Review 15:Fantastically cheap.
Review 16:None.
Review 17:Easy reach to beach and town facilities and owners very friendly.
Review 18:Good value and breakfast included.
Review 19:no problems
Review 20:simple, clean facility
Review 21:Sound at street at night/morning
Review 22:Friendly staff, possibility to do laundry without charging us(so tipped).
Review 23:clean and quiet, basic but good value for money. in walking distance from train station, town center and town beach (maybe 500m)
Review 24:The noise. I don't think there is any soundproofing throughout the building, so you hear everything that's going on in the corridors and in your neighbours' rooms. The hosts sat at the end of the corridor, generally watching tv and smoking. You could hear everything when they had guests/family/grandkids visiting.
Review 25:Friendly owners who gave me helpful information about the town and my transport options. Clean room with TV, fridge, big bathroom. Handy location - 10 mins walk to the centre/shops etc. 15-20 mins walk to the beach (uphill on the way back though.) Breakfast at the local cafe.
Review 26:Although told a deposit would not be taken, I found out looking at my card account that 50% of my stay had been taken days before the stay. I was concerned that they would ask for the whole amount again, but only the last 50%, but no explanation
Review 27:Nice clean room and bathroom, Well kept up during my stay. Breakfast is at a very nice local cafe using a voucher.
Review 28:This room was a good deal. We were only staying one night, but the room was spotlessly clean, as was the bathroom. It had a fridge and a balcony, and not far from the beach. The owner gave us cards giving us a complimentary breakfast at a local cafe which was very good also.
Review 29:I like things to be accurate and the advert, not from Pension Rosa I doubt, say's 200 mtrs to the beach. Well I walk a lot, as I did there, my pedometer tells me it's actually 600 +. Not a problem unless you can't walk a lot and decide to go to the beach. It's a bit of an uphill on the way home so be warned, not 200 mtrs. Also Pension needs an update but what do you expect for €20 a night, it's clean and tidy?
Review 30:Price, only €20 a night. I liked the idea of the fridge as well, I've stayed in dearer Pensions over here and no such thing. TV, although in Spanish was good and free, in others I've had to pay for it and was rubbish. Wi-Fi, again free and not limited to communal areas.
Review 31:All good. No complaints
Review 32:Nice simple and clean.
Review 33:It was cheap and cheerful, small and quirky, kind of like staying in the spare room of a family home.
The Fine Print
