Review 1：They will give you apartments to the north, or you pay more for a south apartment. You have to ask for that best before booking. Apartment shoudl be for four persons, which is ridiculous. For two it might be sufficient but def. not for more. No oven, just two small heating plates. Dogs are nine eur extra per day, which is overpriced and has to be announced in the booking details. Matress really hard and everything little outdated. For surfing its alright since you are outside the whole time. One day there were engineering works directly next to the balcony but the staff kept being unwilling to reduce the amount of money to pay, even if this is a clear criterium to reduce your payment. in summer its definitely too expensive for the price .. in octobre the price was reasonable but rarely had that much stupid discussions.
Review 2：THe staff was really nice and gave me a south apartment but only since in my actual north apartment were dirty linen and nothing really tidy.

Review 5：Fantastic staff, very helpful and friendly. Location extremely close toe beach, around 100-200 meters. Lovely and quiet when we were there. Small but reasonably well equipped apartment (only no oven), fresh clean linen, easy access at cost to washing machine. We absolutely loved our stay.
Review 6：The pictures are of the best room. It was not clear to me when I booked that the room would be of a different size or with a different view. There are many flats in this complex.

Review 8：The place is old and needs SOME extraordinary maintenance. The people of the staff are doing a great job in managing the situation, but the structure definitely needs investments in renovation. Wi-fi sucks. It is not free but the connection is unstable. After complaining, the Management promised a reimboursment. The standard room (1 beedroom + 1 living room) should accomodate 4 people but it is very small; bigger units are available.
Review 9：Great position: facing the beach, near 2 surf schools/rentals, 10 min. away walking to the center. Private parking at reasonable price. Great, friendly but professional staff. The price policy of the owner of the residence seems appropriate to the status of the building. I mean that prices are not high, considering position, season and town and are appropriate considering that the structure needs maintenance. If you are looking for a budget accomodation, in a great place this is ok for you. If you are expecting a fancy place like other Pierre et Vacances residences, you may be disappointed. More or less we feel we got what we paid for.

Review 34：The room was very cosy, not big enough for four people, however was more than enough for the two of us. (we took a room for 4pax). Room was clean on arrival. There was a dishwasher that made washing up a bit easier after cooking. There were sufficient kitchen equipment to cook a decent dinner i.e pots, pans and cutlery. There was a small flat screen TV, however except for the World cup football, we didn't used it. We did buy a small clock radio that I must say saved us from quietness, as there is no radio channels on the TV We had a nice view of the sea and swimming pool from the spacious balcony. The beach is on 2min walk from the accommodation with private entrance, that gives it that exclusive feel. Swimming pool was cleaned every morning and always look in good condition. Carrefour was only a 2min walk and town centre about 5min. We were really pleased with the overall accommodation and had a very memorable holiday. We're already thinking off going back next year. (I have noticed in previous comments people mentioned the smell of cleaning products in the corridors, we could also smell this however would rather smell this than having a smelly corridor. you can't smell it inside the flats anyway)

Review 39：Exteriors of complex and public access areas between apartments looked very tired and need lot of TLC. But do not let this put you off what is otherwise a great place. Also be aware that most of eating places in the town centre closed early on sunday evenings, although this might have been because we were still off season at end of April.

We booked a 1 bed apartment with sea view and although it was advertised for 4 adults,we were glad it was only the two of us. Everything in the apartment was spotlessly clean, good standard and in full working order. Bed was a little hard but comfortable enough.Great view of the beach and sea, with plenty of surfing and kitesurfing activity for entertainment!! Carrefour supermarket only approx 200m walk and a further 100m walk took us into town centre. Make sure to hire bikes for only around €10 each per day and explore the brilliant circular cycle paths (all tarmac and mainly flat) around the Lacanau area amongst spectacular forests and lakes

Not suitable to stay multiple days, for 2 adults and 2 children. Lack of storage and space. Review 57：The apartment was near to a range of activities although traveling with a car may be advised to be able to easily access all of them. It is easily accessible by coach from Bordeaux, and many of the locals were able to speak English, but due to the off season allowed us to speak French also (doesn't always happen in tourist hotspots) Is situated next to a beach path, which made it ideal for evening walks and meals on the balcony etc.
Review 58：The corridors to the apartments were run down and smelly, it is in desperate need of a lick of paint. The apartment was very basic and you had no room to move inthe toilet without hitting your head and bath room was tiny and in need of decoration.

Facilities were basic but clean, the beds comfortable and plenty of hot water for showers. Kitchen facilities were good. Situation excellent.
