Review 1：Our holiday was only 6 days!!

Review 2：Apartment looks just like the photos! The pools were beautifully clean and maintained, as were the rooms. The staff were genuinely lovely and helpful and made us feel so welcome. Food in hotel restaurant was superb and great value for money. Great location, short walk to eateries and the beach in matagorda. Lots of fun activities to do for everyone. Rooms regularly cleaned and bedding spotless. Taxis cheap although local bus stop just outside hotel. Lots of yummy restaurants and cute shops just down the road in Peurto del Carmen. Would definitely return to this hotel. Free wifi.

Review 3：The whole complex was great, so clean, staff so friendly & supermarket on site The accommodation is very well equipped. The location is excellent a beach near by and a few mins taxi to the airport and Porta del Carmen. Will be returning as soon as possible.

Review 5：The complex is beautifully kept and rooms spotless. Excellent location, close to beach. Our bungalow was right beside a pool, ideal for our kids. Food was OK, maybe need to update the menu. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Close to the airport, no hassle getting a taxi.

Review 8：Honestly could not find a fault you would need to be very critical to find a fault. Our safety deposit box played up a couple of times but engineer was there within minutes and fixed it!

Review 10：Holiday was amazing,resort is lovely too and the food was so nice in the restaurant.is in a great location to the beach and shops and to go into the town is only 4e in a taxi, we also rented bikes one day too. We had a great time at costa sal the staff of both resort and restaurant were lovely,most of the restaurant staff speak English and are very friendly, will definitely be making a return there next year

Review 11：Musty smell in room, unable to close bathroom door due to missing part. Having to pay €2 to print boarding cards. Having to listen to the bar man giving out in a very disrespectful way for everyone to hear to the unfortunate serving staff for having got an order wrong, then barking at me that the wi-fi code was on the bar door when I asked him. Needless to say he got none of my money. Glad to drive out of the place.

Review 15：Nothing, except for subbed situation but that is more down to the guests than the staff. They do try to stop people reserving sun beds but there are always those who ignore the rules, put down a towel at 9 am and disappear all day.

Review 19：It's definitely not in Puerto del Carmen! It's in Matagorda but don't let that put you off its only €4 in a taxi for 2 adults and 2 children into the centre of Puerto del Carmen. Also there are some lovely restaurants just down the road if you didn't want to venture into town.

Review 29：Booked a 2 bedroom villa. Very spacious and clean with all new and modern facilities. Remote control air conditioning, flat screen TV, fridge and freezer, oven and hob etc. very comfortable.

Review 38：When we stayed here last year we gave lots of feedback and only some has been addressed. The biggest issue is the beds - single beds on wheels for a married couple don't work when one person ends up on the floor when turning over. This year we brought cable ties and belts to tie them together and had to tie up every evening and then untie before the cleaner came in. One morning she came before we had untied and she just grinned - suggest we were not the first to do this. Wifi just didn't work in our room and we are still waiting for that promised technician (promised twice). Staff gave us free for one day and then another two to cover up - if you say you have it, you should have it and not just in reception!

Review 39：Location of property in the area, our apartment had a pool view - brilliant. We are more suited to an apartment anyway. Bar and restaurant was well staffed and well organised. Reception staff had excellent english.

Review 41：This was our third year at the resort and yet again never fails us. The accomodation is fabulous and great care is taken in placing flowers in the bathroom on arrival. The food is good value and beautifully cooked and presented. The resort is maintained to a very high standard. Plenty of sunbeds and lovely pools both for children and adults. The staff are superb, nothing too much trouble. Well done !!!

Review 43：A great place to stay if you want to relax and chill during the day with the option of going into busy and buzzing puerto del Carmen in the evening. Taxi only cost €4/5 to new town and €6/7 old town. Staff are very polite and pleasant, top marks to them for creating a friendly atmosphere.

Review 50：Super clean resort. Beautiful pools. Great location. Peaceful and relaxing environment. Fantastic staff and they seem to stay here which is a good sign. Any issues we brought to their attention were immediately dealt with. Our fourth visit and hopefully not our last.

Review 51：Our only mishap was going to barbecue on night of arrival.Restaurant is separate management and we found staff here more interested in hard sell of half board than welcoming us and explaining how we were to get our food ,cutlery etc! Plenty of other eating establishments around who actually make you feel as if on holiday.

Review 52：The proximity to airport and facilities of this accomodation are 5 star. Within 20 mins of arriving we jumped in a taxi and were soon enjoying the added bonus of an accomodation upgrade! Reception staff are so helpful. My sister in law has rebooked for May and received 10% discount on price! Beach is only 5 min walk and the panorama is not to be missed.

Review 64：While the staff are unfailingly helpful and the cleaning excellent, what we love most about Costa Sal is the wonderful skilled massage therapist, Christina, who makes our aching bodies work better again... knowing it was going to be colder than usual I had asked in advance of our arrival for extra blankets and advance reservations with Christina, and all was taken care of as requested --- really good customer service!!

Review 65：Only downside, Zest restaurant, food ok, just a little bland, steak not great, but breakfast great and service lovely.

Review 66：Really pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed Costa Sal. Lovely staff and even though the main pool was closed throughout our stay, the smaller pool was behind our apartment and was ample. The only issue was that this reduced the social part of the holiday, but apart from this, we couldn't fault the resort. Really impressed and booked to go back next year.

Review 70：Location is great for family with young kids. Hotels with evening shows near by. Beach is 2 mins away and no loud bars nearby but shopping centre and restaurants again less than 5 mins walking. Ample parking for hire car. Supermarket onsite with Irish papers. Had rte bbc and itv on tv.

Review 74：We stayed in S5 from 1st to 8th of February and even though the weather wasn't great we enjoyed our stay. I cant speak highly enough of the staff and can categorically say that they are the best we have ever come across in our travels. My wife wasn't well with a flu and a heater was supplied without request. We ate in the Zest Restaurant every night and the food was excellent and priced well and again I must stress that the staff are excellent. Music or a show every night was great.

Review 75：Our dusty poach was covered by a green net because of working outside, so we could not enjoy sitting outside. There were several insects in our bathroom probably because of a worn out veradadoor. The sofa was really worn out .So we were very disappointed and think this was too exspensive. The water in the pool was too cold

Access to seafront walkway in front of airport ideal for runs or long walks. Excellently maintained and cleaned property. Kids loved substantial pool area and playground. Superior apartments are great & have RTE1 for weather back home! Walls are solid so apartments very quiet.

Review 96：WifiThe only place where you could get reliable Internet connection is the free Wifi in the restaurant. You get charged 3 Euros per day for Wifi in the apartment complex area which almost doesn't work at all and it is a problem with the service rather than strenght of the signal, etc. How hard could it be these days to get this right as this isn't the first negative comment on the available and quality of the Internet. It is extremely frustrating for people who have to do some work even on holidays.

The location of costa sal is perfect, a short walk to the beach & restaurants pubs etc.

Review 104：Only 2 things... 1. There were ants in the bed and on the kitchen counter top which I kinda thought that's not right at all I know ants are likely to get in but not in your bed and we had to notify reception twice in the day until they did something and then we showed them the problem the second time and it was rectified but I feel the first time was ignored... 2. There was a lot of drilling by the pool area which was a bit annoying but I suppose unavoidable, the hotel was upgrading! Still the last thing you want while relaxing!

Review 105：Our second time to stay, we were on honeymoon and decided we come back to this hotel because we knew it was clean and the staff were friendly. It was a little upgraded from the last time we stayed also. We chose a "luxury" room and it was very clean and spacious but it wasn't what I expected it seemed the same as the last apartment but just spacious. But it was still a lovely room and situated in a good spot.

So relaxing, staff are so friendly and helpful make staying here such a pleasure. Bar and restaurant excellent and room comfort and cleanliness both the same.
