Reviews for Hotel Sa Riera

Review 1:The females on reception were surly and unhelpful. We asked for a glass of mik for the room and charged 1euro 50, first time in 13 hotels on our trip. The wifi didn't work for 2 days, they said it was general but other establishments close had it. You can't run your hotel without it. Plastic mattress protectors very uncomfortable and hot.

Review 2:Location and balcony with view, parking air con worked and clean. Breakfast ok bit boring with tinned fruit salad.

Review 3:It is missing a minibar or small fridge to keep your beverages drinkable. Also miss some net or other measure to avoid mosquitoes. Bring your own preferred method :-)

Review 4:It is by the Beach Cala Sa Riera. From there you can go walking from both sides of the beach to other Calas. Extremely recommended to visit the other beaches. The hotel has a parking lot that is essential in this zone if you go by car. very few public parking spaces. The towels are very comfort too.

Review 5:Absolutely nothing we could complain about. Just perfect!

Review 6:Bel hôtel et accueil chaleureux, petit déjeuner varié et de qualité. Grand parking gratuit à disposition. Parfait!

Review 7:Small terrasse, small window, view on the parking. You could hear every noise from neighbouring rooms and in the hallway. We got 2 small bottles of shower gel for 3 days and that was it.

Review 8:Great location with plenty of parking space. Efficient and quiet airco. Very clean hotel.

Review 9:The breakfast was bad, sad looking pastries and no hot option. For a three star you would at least expect some warm eggs! They had hard boiled eggs that were over boiled and grey. The staff never smile making it feel unwelcoming.

Review 10:Nothing really, although it's worth noting the hotel is nothing fancy.

Review 11:Sa Riera is an absolute hidden gem. A very small beach town, frequented mainly by spaniards and French families on holidays. There are a few restaurants in town and one supermarket and that is it. Hotel Sa Riera is one of two hotels in town. It was clean, with a lovely pool and our room had a lovely view of the ocean. It's also very close to the beach, less than a 5 minute walk.

Review 12:No fridge in the room

Review 13:Room looked out onto the lovely Sa Riera beach. The beach is just a few metres away so I could pop out for a quick dip in the anytime. There is a walkway along the coast, from this you can climb down paths to some beautiful little coves. Begur is a drive away and it's a cool little town in which to spend the evenings dining and shopping. The room was clean with a compact balcony. Hotel has plenty of outdoor places to relax in. Pool looked nice but we didn't use it as the beach was right there on our doorstep.

Review 14:Breakfast uninteresting . Bedroom furniture including bed basic . Not great sound proofing so noise from surrounding rooms and corridor.

Review 15:Sea view from Balcony

Review 16:The breakfasts were at best very ordinary. The restaurant wasn't open and neitherr was the bar

Review 17:When I broke my sunglasses much to my amazement a screwdriver of the correct size was produced instantly - good customer relations

Review 18:The hotel was practically on the shore. There were lovely walking paths to three different beaches. Handy eateries within a half block. Nice on site parking. Lovely breakfast.

Review 19:The bed was a little too hard for me and bothered my back.

Review 20:Turquoise, crystal clear ocean with secluded lagoons, fabulous free breakfast, and terrace overlooking the ocean, and very quiet rooms. Staff was super accommodating with anything we asked for.

Review 21:It is a little (only a little) isolated if you want anything more exciting than an excellent beach and handful of wonderful restaurants. And you will need a smattering of Spanish (or Catalan or French) to properly converse with the staff and locals.

Review 22:The Hotel Sa Riera is perfectly in keeping with its surroundings: pretty, understated, oozing charm and spotlessly clean. It's not a luxury stay, but a peaceful, pleasant one, full of character. The staff are friendly, helpful and courteous; the location exceptional, and the charm of the rooms, the decor, and the public areas is faultless.

Review 23:The staff were excellent, very friendly, and multilingual. They were the ideal innkeepers and the breakfast is a really nice inclusion. Minutes from a beautiful beach in a sleepy town of good restaurants.

Review 36:Nothing special to point it out

Review 37:Great location and a fantastic breakfast on the balcony with sea view. Private parking is great.

Review 38:Slightly expensive.

Review 39:Well run hotel in a good position. It was a shame they did not do an evening meal, but only a few minutes walk to good resturants, would recommend the wine bar next to the beach shop or pizzeria near the supermarket.

Review 40:Superb location which lead to a lovely clean beach with with a handful of restaurant/bars. Hotel staff very helpful, great breakfast and relaxed atmosphere.

Review 41:Very expensive (ask for a normal room, not a deluxe one, since costs 20 euros more only because of the air condition, which is not necessary in Sa Riera)

Review 42:breakfast buffet

Review 43:location, convenient if awkward parking, excellent breakfast, good view

Review 44:Friendly, welcoming staff; excellent breakfasts; superb location; large shady car park; understated stylish design.

Review 45:Swimming pool, wifi in room, good parking.
