Reviews for Hostal Docar
Review 1:Very convenient stopover just off the motorway easy to find. Great place to run the dog just before you get to the hotel. Beautiful old town just over the road. Remember that food in Spain is lunchtime based so you won't get anything more until after 8.30pm
Review 2:The food in the restaurant was very poor value for money
Review 3:Very easy to find and room was very well decorated and comfortable. The downside was no air conditioning and the weather was very hot during our stay.
Review 4:Through the Booking.com system I requested a quiet room on the second/third floor; given what must have been the most noisy room - 1st floor, overlooking the road (not the square) and over the public bar with a large TV! Other rooms where available. Coffee & a qauissant is 'breakfast' Not a word of English is spoken/understood by the staff including the booking/request system.
Review 5:Good location in attractive small town, ideal (public) parking, nice comfortable room and quick access to and from the A1/E5. Really good value for money when needing a overnight stay in a village environment.
Review 6:Excellent value for money.
Review 7:Fantastic value excellent for location when travelling to and from the uk. Location ideal for motorway ( 1 mile ) easy free parking and a nice town to visit.
Review 8:No menu for the included breakfast, it was a game of guess what's included! The town was quiet

Review 26:breakfast which was limited to two toasts and a drink
Review 27:Location, room, hotel, generally everything but...
Review 28:Everything, even the blue bathroom suite looked good because of the new silicon and fresh grouting and perfect white fluffy towels
Review 29:There was not anything we did not like.
Review 30:Central location, Hotel was very clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly. Water was lovely and hot. No complaints at all. This was our second stay at the Docar.
Review 31:Used the hotel to break up journey from UK to Costa Del Sol then again on the return journey. This is our third time staying here and the Menu Del Dia is good value for money.
Review 32:the bathroom although very clean was in need of a freshen up as in shower head/screen and not unlike lots of other hotels the shower is static as in it doesn't have a rail to lower it and at my lofty 5'2" it requires me taking the shower off the wall to use it. that is of course a very small complaint.
Review 33:the location is excellent as it has easy access to the motorway and is situated by the entrance to the historic town and has plenty of parking outside. The room was on the corner and had 3 full length windows.
Review 34:We have stayed here on numerous occasions. Always given a great welcome by the owner. Staff are very helpful and the hostal is very comfortable with lovely extra large bed and bathroom. The furnishings are exquisite too.
Review 35:situated on main road in and through town so a little noisy
Review 36:proximity to motorway and old town, also local shops
Review 37:Easy to find as a stop over on our way to Bilbao from the south of Spain
Review 38:Everything, good food & friendly service all through.
