Review 1：Smell of smoke in bedroom woke up with blocked nose as no tolerance to smoke. Seemed to be used by lots of business men and women

Review 11：This was a return trip after a gap of five years. We were pleased to see the same management, have the same Standing room as before, and enjoy the same high standard of cuisine. Sadly we were only passing through this time, en route from Cherbourg to Bordeaux, rather than staying longer.

Review 13：Excellent staff , the receptionist was helpful ,polite and friendly and spoke French and English very clearly. The breakfast was good with a variety of choices though no hot dishes were available. The room was clean and comfortable.
Review 14：within approx 10 minutes downhill walk to Azay-le-Rideau town & chateau-allow a bit more time for the stroll back up. Very good food in hotel restaurant & very good value too, also generous breakfasts. Friendly staff/owner.
Review 15：We arrived about 2030 hrs so quite late after a tiring journey. It was so refreshing to be greeted with smiles and a sense of humour. A table on the busy terrace was found for us and drinks were quickly served. This was an excellent stop and a place we would certainly aim to revisit. The staff were friendly, efficient and welcoming. Wonderful place to stay.

Our room was not big, but exceptionally equipped for the modern traveller, with comfortable writing desk, plenty of electrical outlets, and wireless Internet. Building in good repair, rooms perfectly clean and fume-free. Dining room walled with glass adds to the atmosphere.
