The family-run Las Huertas cottages are located by the river in Monachil, in the Sierra Nevada. Surrounded by farmland, each cottage has a patio with barbecue, and some have private pools.
Each of the spacious and colorful cottages has a kitchen with microwave and washing machine. Some of the Las Huertas Casas Rurales cottages also have a fireplace.
The Las Huertas cottages are just a 10 minute drive from the center of Granada, and about a 40 minute drive from the beaches of the Costa Tropical.

Review 1：Next door to the house is a very dilapidated house that is an eye sore. It also is the view from one window but doesn't effect the stay at all really.
Review 2：Brilliant house and very homely. Very well furnised with everything you could need. Comfortable beds. Perfect for exploring the rope bridges of Monachil and an easy bus to Granada. Family run business and they were very helpful, providing maps and inside info of the local area and Granada. Really excellent holiday home.
Review 3：Grote accommodatie is een blokhut en kan in de zomer erg warm worden, geen arco. Bij 35 graden met een raam open was het net te doen. Zwembad is opbouw met een wankel trapje. Voordeel kinderen vallen er niet zomaar in.
Review 4：Schoon, alles aanwezig, goede bedden maar de service van de verhuurder was top. Schone handdoeken en lakens op verzoek. Leek wel een hotel, om de dag alles schoon.

Review 6：Converted farmhouse type accommodation with lots of nice ´touches´ and although among 3 or 4 other conversions, it was quiet and private. Very comfortable and enjoyed the stay. Only 10 - 15mins from Alhambra.

Review 10：Not much really, as expected for a casa rural. We could not control the heating directly and were initially too warm but could call for an immediate adjustment. Pillows could have been better.
Review 11：Friendly helpful service, close to Sierra Nevada ski station (about 30-40 mins) and Granada centre (about 15-mins). Comfortable, quaint cabin would recommend / stay again.

Review 13：The house was lovely. It was a real change to have Central heating :) even though we were in the two bedroom apartment attached to the house we didn't feel intruded. It was like having a completely separate house. The purpose of our trip was to visit Sierra nevada for the day and this only a 30 minute drive away. You are only10-15 minutes from Granada and a 10 minute walk from Monachil village. It is a beautiful quaint little house in the middle of the country with lots of walking trails right on your doorstep. The house itself is lovely all your home comforts available.you have your own separate gated driveway and parking area so you feel safe. Beautiful views.
