Review 1：NOT the hotel's fault --- but it appears to be situated in the middle of the night club area! We were awoken at various times during the night by drunks singing, dustbin lorries with reversing warning 'beeps', cars & motor bikes racing along the surrounding streets etc etc. The racket continued until about 6 am, when the 3 final revellers staggered along the road below our room. Perhaps some new double-glazed windows would help?

Review 3：I didnt like the fact that there was only wifi in the bar which worked so slowly that you were forced to pay internet in the room - and another problem was that this internet could be used only by 1 person at a time. I think all hotels should provide WIFI at all times.

Review 4：Hotel was close to beach and old Town - which was better than hotels in Santa Susanna, where there were only tourists. Hotel was clean and staff was friendly. Accomodation wasnt expensive as we were there in early september.

Review 8：We liked: the friendly staff, really accommodating; Comfortable bed; entertainment; great choice of food; three pools! Great location; cleanliness; Loads of space in a designated room, if you need to hang around after check-in Close to a supermarket for essentials. We stayed here for four days in early September before our youngest daughter started primary school. We got there really late and missed the evening meal because of delays with our flights and missed the bus etc. The reception staff arranged for some food to be brought up to our room. Amazing! They were all so kind. We would have loved to have been able to stay longer! Thank you!

Review 9：The only fault I could mention is that the food, although plentiful and varied, was only luke warm.

Review 10：The cleanliness of the hotel could not be faulted in any way, and the helpfulness of the staff. The staff were fantastic, in particular we would like to thank Nuria on reception, Lola on the pool bar, and Taricu one of the waiters. Also Jacob in entertainment he was very enthusiastic and brilliant at his job. You just cound not help but enjoy yourself.

Review 11：Would have liked to find fresher food regards the buffet breakfast. Pancakes and freshly made scrambled eggs/omelettes would be good.

Review 12：The staff were fantastic, very helpful and so friendly. Rooms very clean and well equiped. Pool and pool area lovely and relaxing and great to sit out on the terrace overlooking the pool.

Review 13：The whole of the restaurant experience lets this hotel down badly...........Miserable restaurant staff...I actually cried one morning as the young chef frying the eggs was very rude as in he literally threw the eggs on my plate....the two ladies who work in the main food area are also unfriendly...it's hard to get a carton of orange juice out of them....the security guard on nights is unfriendly too....the other staff are generally good at customer service and the lady who checks you in at breakfast with the curly Bob is a credit to you....the waitresses who clear the tables...well..I am a very friendly pleasant person and I gave up smiling and talking to them...they only spoke to certain holiday makers but not all.....very disappointing....we have booked in at the Pineda Aqua hotel for next year....

Review 14：No one bothers you...location...lift service...clean bedrooms and towel changes...the cleaners of the bedrooms are pleasant...

Review 15：The hotel was dirty. The poolside hadn't been cleaned in days or maybe weeks. The room (especially the bathroom) was cleaned poorly. Free wifi was non existent (although publicized and available, staff told you it did not work); you had to buy a room wifi service. Room did not have a fridge, the hotel would rent one to you.

Review 16：The people were very nice and went above and beyond the call of duty. The value for money is good and the hotel is very good at providing activities for small children.

Review 17：cleaning left much to be desired. first day we came i had to take a towel and wash the floor myself for there were tons of sand, hair, etc. We just couldn't walk ourselves or let our kid play on teh floor. Surely nobody ever cleaned the floor under the beds before us!

Review 18：friendly staff. we loved our room on the 6th floor with pool view. very nice view and large balcony where we spent evenings with a glass of Torres wine. we took full board, liked the meals, good value for money. our room had wifi included in the rate, it was ok

Review 19：The noise. If you are above the entertainment and on floors 1-3 then forget about sleeping until 12am. If you are also opposite the free car park for the whole resort then prepare for some more hassle. The fact that the windows are not fitted and old and worn don't help.

Review 20：You don't have to reserve a sunbed!! Based on other hotels this is an amazing experience! Entertainment staff were great. Special mention for both Christina and Jacob who were excellent.

Review 25：We stayed at Onabrava (another hotel of Aqua group located in a nearby town) prior to Bella Playa and the contrast was remarkable. Very tired furniture and decoration. Poor breakfasts. Reception staff was friendly but useless. I had to go to them 3 times to ask for a double bed which we booked instead of twins which we got. They eagerly promised to help but nobody came. At last we solved this problem by ourselves. They also sold us a 5 Euro/ day parking knowing that there was a free parking fields right in front of the hotel. Free Wi-Fi does not exist!

Review 26：Great staff at the restaurant - prompt and helpfull. Good dinners. Relatively calm location close to Barcelona. Clean though cold sea and a nice beach.

Review 29：The free Wi-fi is practically useless. For 12 Euros/week one can buy access to a much faster connection, but I think it should be included in the price of the room. There should be more information available on their internet site (parking possibilities, time for meals, etc.) Uninteresting Tv channels. Tvs are from museum? Anyway one should not travel there to watch TV, so it is not a very big problem.

The basic rooms are in desperate need for a more modern overhaul.. Breakfast table setup was not comfortable.. Too close together. Breakfast itself was good. Coffee fantastic.

Review 33：Hotel muy caótico, con tres ascensores pequeños para un montón de habitaciones. Para ir a cenar habías colas en las escaleras que empezaban en el hall del hotel y que claramente yo con el peque en su cochecito no pude hacer. Cuando por fin fue nuestro turno después de una espera de unos 45 mm largos nos sentamos y ya empezaron a recoger. Por la mañana para evitar las colas en los ascensores baje sin cochecito pero entonces no había ni una trona libre y nadie me supo ayudar, es decir que la contestación fue de darme una vuelta por el salón a buscarlas que había de sobra. Así que cuando por fin la encontré empezaron otra vez a retirar el desayuno. Por ultimo el baño estaba sucio, con pelos en la ducha... Vamos entiendo que era una oferta pero con tal Desorganizacion se me ha quedado un mal sabor de boca y no lo recomendaría.

Review 37：The hotel appears to have deteriorated since we last staid there. We asked for a Quiet room overlooking the pool area, we were given a room overlooking a large public car park! The room was vary poor standard and not so clean. Breakfast was like a cattle market and we ended up not going in the end. Not a hotel I would choose to stay for 14 nights again.

If your main goal is sea (and not visits to Barcelona) then hotel is highly recommended. For frequent trips to Barcelona you should select one of the towns that are at shorter distance.

Review 83：We did not like twin beds and we had requested a double bedd well in advance. Also, there was a large party of card players staying while we were there and the lounge was simply unavailable for other resident's use. This meant that we had to use the bar to relax in and the sound levels were far too loud. If the resident's lounge is going to be used in this way again, provision must be made for other guests.

Review 85：- Extremely unfriendly staff.In other words, they are not interested. The receptionists were always in a hurry and they don't care if they satisfied your doubts or not. Also, they have given us utterly wrong train information that caused too much trouble when taking the trip home. Also, the hotel staff are extremely rude. They did not even care to give us any good reliable information on what we can enjoy on our stay. They don't say everything and you have to get the words out of their mouths. - I've been to numerous hotels. Never in my life have I seen worse pillows than the ones they offer in their beds. Beds are extremely uncomfortable, making it impossible to get a good sleep. - Rooms are not clean. Even after numerous nights I realized that the beds aren't completely cleaned. Oh and by the way one of the bed sheets was simply torn !!!!!! Yet they still use it. - Also I don't understand what kind of a hotel charges it's customers for the pool towels. At least something like this should be written in the hotel description. - This hotel was the worst hotel I have ever experienced in my life. Staying in a hostel wouldn't be much different. It ruined the whole experience to Malgrat. Never ever can recommend this failure .Feel free to book at this hotel and have a nice trip to hell.

Review 95：There really should be some way to ensure that guests are not disturbed in the very early hours by rowdy late-to-bedders! We were woken up on two out of the four nights which isn't good enough. All it would take, given the layout of the two wings and the lift/stairwell would be to have a member of staff follow disruptive persons upstairs to ensure that they follow the clearly visible "shhhhh!" signs. A regular quick patrol wouldn't be a bad idea either.

Review 99：Hotel Bella Playa is a really nice place. Personal was very helpful and friendly. Not far from hotel you can find lots of nice restaurants with really tasty food. And a store with good choice of wine. Hotel is in 5 minutes walk from a station. And Malgrat de Mar is not far from Barcelona, Girona and Figueras than you can get to any of this cities in an hour.
