Reviews for Coto del Valle de Cazorla
Review 1:We stayed here for a 2 night 'rest stop' during a weeks motorcycle tour. The Hotel was comfortable, but we found that some members of staff were more 'efficient', than genuine 'warm' in their approach. The hotel has something of a 'corporate chain' feel, and lacks the intimacy of some of the other hotels on our trip. Food was a little over-priced, compared to others.
Review 2:The dinner was really nothing special, I was expecting something better, considering that you are in the middle of a park!
Review 3:The location and the facility. It is really beautiful! There are many nice hikings and walks!
Review 4:The restaurant does not open until 9.pm. And it lacked atmosphere. No sunbeds by the pool
Review 5:The staff were very helpful & considerate. The views are out of this world. Our room 222 was fantastic. The swimming pool and surrounding areas are very well kept. We did not try the spa but it does look good. If we had stayed a day longer, we would have definitely spent a few hours chilling out in there.
Review 6:The room was not perfectly clean, the bed was a bit old, and the breakfast not so good (for the price). Also the hotel is really in the middle of the nature, the closest village is 10min drive away and has some restaurants options
Review 7:Location, nice swimming pool, spa very nice (but not free for hotel guests)
Review 8:We had booked half board, the breakfast was a slandered continental with no frills. We had two evening meals both were very poor, we had expectations of much better as the hotel has four stars but I wouldn't even give it two for food.
Review 9:The location was fantastic.
Review 10:Don't like having to wait until 8.30pm for an evening meal although this is still traditional in many areas of Spain.
Review 11:This is a beautiful hotel situated in one of the most beautiful areas of Spain. The staff speak a little English which can be a great help.
Review 12:Restaurant staff is correct, but not friendly to foreigners. They talkto and entertain only spanish nationals. We speak spanish perfectly (20years in the country), but that doesn't apply...!
Review 13:Food was ok, price is ok, although booking announces €42 per person permeal, which is an excessive estimation.
Review 14:Wasn't obvious that the spa was only included at an extra cost when we made the booking
Review 15:location is excellent - lovely scenery very quiet and only 5 min drive from town and restaurants. Spa is great - pay for 2 hours it is worth it! Balcony on room was great for relaxing
Review 16:We had a room with wheelchair access, which proved very difficult for my husband with a broken foot. Using the shower was impossible. Without our asking we were offered a different room with facilities for disabled. The room had been occupied the previous night but was quickly, spotlessly cleaned in order for us to change for our second night. Nothing was too much trouble. The difference this made was priceless.
Review 17:Hotel accommodation is fine, half board is terrible.
Review 18:location in the mountains, peace and quiet.
Review 19:Roads were challenging.
Review 20:Location was awesome. staff very friendly and helpful.

Review 32:Setting and outstanding quality of spa facility.
Review 33:Nothing. Our stay met all our expectations.
Review 34:I loved being able to hear the deer in the night and being close to nature.
Review 35:The only room with double beds were the single rooms so we ended up in a single room which was a bit tight for 2 people. I would have liked a double room with a double bed. The hotel is a bit far from Cazorla and there is not much around if you want to go out to eat or have a drink.
Review 36:The pool was very nice and the surroundings. The spa is ok if you want to relax but make sure you take a bathing suit, a cap and flip-flops otherwise you will have to buy them there. The location is good if you want to take walks. The staff were nice.
Review 37:Lighting in restaurant was poor, apart from that, highly recommended. Pool was not in use which was a pity as weather was a heatwave
Review 38:Fab location, great food, lovely room with tremendous view
Review 39:Arrived at the crossroads near hotel but we could'nt see a sign for the hotel anywhere, so just took a guess and found it, please could the hotel put a sign up.
Review 40:Loved the position, wonderful countryside etc. Very comfortable and warm (March). I bet it is absolutely amazing in the summer with the pool and spa etc. Again fantastic!!
Review 41:Nothing!
Review 42:A superb hotel in a heavenly position. The food was very good and the portions generous. A great position in the national park and after a long days walking the spa was very welcome.
Review 43:Most members of staff were extremely polite and helpful, however we did find one particular member to be extremely unhelpful, unwilling to provide information on local activities and frankly, quite rude!
Review 44:This hotel has a lovely rustic feel, fitting in seamlessly with its surroundings. Pool area is fantastic. Only 3km drive from Arroyo Frio village and quite near all main treks.
Review 45:the restaurant ambient ok, BUT but but the menu really poor of choises eg no differens of taste of wild boor or venison !!!!!!!! Breakfast terrible not worth two star hotel personel ok and friendly
