Reviews for El Peñón

Review 1:The shower was not warm, I would have called but due to my lack of spanish i did not bother (owners don't speak a word english). Might have been an easy fix though. When we arrived we called and someone dropped of the keys with the car. He did not bother getting out of the car though (or even park it), so we literally got a key thrown at us and that was the check in.

Review 2:We loved the balcony with lakeview! Perfect place to unwind and drink a glass of wine (with some tapas). The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. Really nice place with character. The town is great, especially the walk up to the little castle is well worth it! I'd recommend.

Review 3:The lighting was so poor in all rooms that we had to move all the side lights around to be able to see, even in the kitchen. This made it difficult to read at night in the sitting room and wouldn't have worked if there had been more than 2 people in a house that is supposed to accommodate 6.

Review 4:Conveniently located self-catering accommodation in lovely village. Fair sized accommodation.

Review 5:Tiny weeny shower bathroom. AND You do have to be very fit to get up to any bar/restaurants. It is at very bottom of steep hill.

Review 6:Brill views, really in all directions and felt as if you were part of the village community. When problems happen as they do, and they are not English speaking, tried hard to fix them and did after only about an hour and half.

Review 7:The house was freezing cold and took ages to heat, it should have been warmed before our arrival. Minimal bath towels, poor quality. No new dish cloth. Boiler went out on first night-

Review 8:The views. Staff came promptly when we reported boiler had gone out.
