Review 1：Food NOT bad but, can only be described as 'adequate' and repetitive.

Review 4：This is a very well maintained Hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We were upgraded to the superior suite and were extremely happy and surprised as we checked in . Overall a lovely experience and we will definitely stay there again.

Review 8：Walls between rooms are very thin, so you hear everything from other rooms. Noice from children in hotel next to monteplaya, until midnight. Room door closing very loud, will wake you up. Few power plugins in room. Tv in room is smaller than your laptop.

Review 10：Horrible place. Never go To Malgrat. Do not look at pictures. Very close to the beach but separated by railtrain. Very sad placee full of horrible palaces, gift shops. Very bad food both at dinner and breakfast We had a very bad experience during our stay. Below our romm there was a concert in the near hotel. It was impossible to sleep up to midnight. We ask to change the room and they proposed us an horrible one. At ceck out we forgot our documents and they forgot to give them back. We had to come-back two days later

Review 12：The fridge didn't work, the air con didn't work, when reported it was fixed, then broke again. The t.v. broke, but that was replaced with a new one the same day

Review 15：An excellent family run hotel with friendly staff. Buffet style meals where there was plenty to choose from. Lovely pool and solarium with attractive patio area.

Review 16：- Suggest to include variation for young kids in the diner buffet. - Hire more staff for the restaurant and cooking. It is fine outside the peakseason but when fully booked the Hotel is short of staff. Nevertheless, the existing staff is excellent and very friendly.

Review 17：For this 3 star accommodation it has everything you would expect it to have and a little more. Swimming Pool is beautiful and enough beds so you don't need to rush to claim a bed by towel before breakfast. Breakfast and diner were fine with sufficient variation for the older kids and adults. Beds in renovated accommodation are wide and give a good night rest. Reception speaks Spanish, English, German, Russian and Dutch.

Review 28：On Booking.com site it showed Bright bedrooms with white bedlinen (I always go for hotels with white bedline)instead go dark dreary bedspread! The pool is more of a water feature than a swimming pool! Railway track between hotel and beach although there was a tunnel.

Review 31：Our room was bright modern clean and comfortable the bathroom was amazing I would say it has all been refurbished dinning room bright and airy substantial breakfast

Review 32：The room was described as having air conditioning but it only works when the external temperature reaches a certain level. When I book a hotel, air conditioning is one of the firs things I check for. The room was very warm, as a result I didn't sleep well.

Review 33：The room was very modern and had been recently refurbished to a high standard. Everything was spotlessly clean, staff were friendly. The food was all fresh with a good choice. Drinks were reasonably priced in the bar. Fridge and free wifi very useful.

Review 34：To obtain TV controller, refundable payment was required. We have travelled the world and have never experienced this! TV programmes very limited for English speakers. Have never been asked to rent a fridge before (fee waived in upgraded room). Car parking expensive a difficult to find.

Forbreakfast, the times available were from 08:00 to 09:45, for lunch from13:00 to 14:00 and for dinner from 20:00 to 21:30. Seriously? Whenyou're on holidays, and in Spain, you need more extended hours. Somestaff were nice while others were really careless and rude. The doorsdidn't have a do not disturb sign.

Review 37：The room was modern and it had a balcony with views of the swimmingpool. The pool was nice but much smaller than pictured in the photos.Also, the location was perfect just on the promenade, with many bars andrestaurants nearby.

Review 39：WIFI turned out to be rather unstable. I was exposed for a robbery of my backpack on the Beach and camera, Iphone and wallet with 100 euros was stolen. The site is possibly a cave for criminals. The local police in Malgrat de Mar is unfortunately extremely inefficient. but the Catalunian Police was in contrast very qualified, serious and helpful

Review 40：Monteplaya is located nearby the beach and it´s rather easy to find free parking just outside the hotel. The hotel is modern with very cosy room and balcony facing the adjacent hotel. Breakfast was good although there is a potential for improvement. WIFI was free 5 hours per day. The receptionist was very helpful and qualified.
