Our family-run guest house is located on the banks of the beautiful Lake Hintersee and offers free wifi and sunbathing areas. Framed by the Bavarian Alps, it lies at the entrance to the Berchtesgaden National Park.
This guesthouse is the ideal base for a variety of day trips and hiking tours. Our spacious and lovingly furnished guest rooms offer a view of the mountains and all of the comforts you need in order to completely unwind.
Gasthof Wörndlhof's own restaurant serves a variety of regional dishes, which are available on the sun terrace in fine weather. Specialties include freshly caught trout.
In warm weather, guests can go boating or fishing, while ice skating and curling are possible in the winter. Nordic walking and hiking are possible all year.
Younger guests may use children's playground with swings, slides and a sandpit.
Salzburg is a 40-minute drive from Gasthof Wörndlhof.

Review 8：All information in room & hotel in german....urgently need to do all signs & info in English to make English speaking guests feel welcome & informed. I had to guess the hotel resturant was closed on wednesdays for dinner & had to go looking for food elsewhere...was not mentioned. No iron or tea/coffee making facilities in room.No frills accomodation About 25 mins from Berchtesgaden on bus & last bus back was at 6.15pm.
