Review 1：Excellent location with good bus connections. Had a fabulous time. Great staff and delicious dinners. Could add some stollen to the breakfast. Will be back next year.

Review 18：The only person at the hotel speaking english was the desk staff andonly on night shift.The price was about 50 - 75€ per night too high for the quality of the hotel.

Review 20：The friendliness of the whole staff! Everyone went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable....and we were the only Americans there.......we were only 10 kms out of Berchtesgaden. And only 20 min from Salzburg.....so, we could enjoy both places easily.... The food at the Hochkalter was excellent.....fresh local foods, like trout! And local german specialities.....tasty! We would recommend this hotel to anyone and we hope to return someday! Rene Klimke was an outstanding staff member who was particularly helpful and he speaks excellent english! Review 21：Quiet and tranquil. Well placed and within very easy reach of everything we wanted to do without being in the overrun tourist towns. Junior suite was lovely and bright.
Review 22：The effort of the staff to make Christmas Eve special will always be remembered. We will be back in the near future.
