Reviews for Hotel Langosteira
Review 1:more hostel than hotel, very basic, mold on the ceiling around the perimeter and on the tiling joints and sealants in the bathroom.Hot water a bit tricky,No carpets anywhere.
Review 2:Good breakfast,
Review 3:I was here on a rainy weekend and could not get warm in my room during the day. Heat is through the floor and not turned on until late in the day. No internet in the room.
Review 4:No facilities. Washing takes 24 hours ( no good for walkers/Caminantes). No facilities for drying. We arrived with wet boots and clothes and had to leave with same. Breakfast only after 09:00 Bath - but no plug, do owner does not want residents to take s bath. Room - view of a back roof Room cold.
Review 5:It was a bed and a shower at the end of a cold, wet walk
Review 6:It is perfectly located for those doing the Camino whether it is from Olveiroa to Finisterre or Muxia to Finisterre. The decor is really fun and cleverly done. The staff were most helpful. We were able to print off our boarding passes and we were able to store our rucksacks there until our evening bus back to Santiago. Breakfast at €4 was delicious and great value. I would definitely stay there again.
Review 7:The bed was a little hard but I slept extremely well.
Review 8:This place has real personality, it's in an excellent location and the staff are just lovely and accommodating. I had an amazing view of the water.
Review 9:Staff very helpful with where to find decent restaurants. Don't think there is beach access directly in front but great view from front room balcony.
Review 10:The windows do not open, just a small open... There is not a good ventilation. The same in the com areas. That's hate it! I felt like without fresh air to breath! No air if it is a hot evening. The reception and breakfast from 9AM! They should think about there are pilgrims ... Maybe breakfast from 7AM?! Price x value for money: it is ok. There are cheaper places to stay in town.
Review 11:It is a new DIY trend decoration. Still smells newly painted. Just in the Camino way... Nice staff (girls). Good room. Big bathroom and spacious bedroom. Comfy bed. Room is bright colours and nice decoration. Very clean areas and rooms.
Review 12:The hotel is a beautiful reflection of the ocean town. The colors and simplicity make it the perfect place to relax after walking El Camino. The rooms are very clean and the staff is very friendly. They speak English and also were patient as I spoke my limited Spanish. Its a very short walk to the nearest beach, which made it easy to stroll the beach in the early morning before breakfast.
Review 13:Very friendly and helpful staff (speak Spanish and English), beautiful room and decor throughout the hotel, balcony overlooking the beach, good price for the high quality of the hotel and the room, great wifi, about 3 km from light house, perfect place to spend 3 days recuperating from walking the Camino de Santiago, walking distance to bus stop, grocery store, beach, and town
Review 14:We had a wonderful view of the water. White sand beach in one direction and city's breakwater the other direction. The rooms are fresh, bright. Nice bathroom with a tub. Staff is friendly and helpful. Located just a long block from city center of many restaurants and the action of the harbor.
Review 15:Noisy bar/ cafe next door and very thin walls. Can hear all plumbing noises and snoring neighbours.
Review 16:Decor has been updated and is of a very good standard for a budget hotel. Very clean and tidy with good wifi.
Review 17:Nothing to dislike
Review 18:this hotel deserves more stars! True to description , the rooms are bright fresh and clean and the position excellent. The biggest asset though is the staff whose welcome was genuinely warm-and the generous breakfast was lovely too ! A must visit ..,,
Review 19:The hotel was quirky-tiled on the outside with fishy murals inside. The room was pleasant and clean but a bit gloomy. A sea view room would've been nicer. Breakfast was very good value compared with others we'd had.
Review 20:Large room with sea view. Basic and simple room decoration. We had everything we needed. Only 5 minutes walk to the center. Toast, coffee, croissants, marmalade for breakfast.
Review 21:Walking distance to town and ancient sights. 4 minute walk to beach access. Staff very nice - speaks English, & helpful. Excellent price 4 your $!!!
Review 22:There was a musty smell in all of the pension including my room as if there had been major water damage in the facilities. It somehow spoiled the mood of the moment.
Review 23:Staff very nice, the place seems rather clean...
Review 24:The location is perfect. You can walk to the beach and can walk to town. The option to upgrade to the best room is SO well worth it. You will get a balcony on the ocean side with 2 chairs and a table and will have a view you'll never forget....ocean surrounded by mountains. The staff was extremely accommodating in getting us dinner reservations and showing us to the best local seafood.
Review 25:Cheerful decor, loved the mosaics. Good breakfast and close to the bus stop and harbour.

Review 30:Wonderful views
Review 31:Noisy at night from neighbouring building. No lift. Room was on second floor.
Review 32:Great sea view. Room with balcony.
Review 33:No Lift - so five small flights of stairs to bedrooms which would not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues.
Review 34:The cost and the location.
Review 35:The staff were very welcoming and helpful during our stay, could have done more to ensure our stay was lovely
Review 36:More of a hostel than a hotel. Ok for us as we were back packing. Bit misleading. ..
Review 37:Location was good for beach and Centre.
Review 38:Basic facilities but adequate for the price.
Review 39:Friendly helpful staff.
Review 40:Breakfast very late for camino walking
Review 41:Nice and bright convenient location
Review 42:Party house next door-not an issue with our Windows closed though
Review 43:Great ocean view!
Review 44:Everything especially the view of the sea and a balcony to appreciate it.
Review 45:No elevator!

Review 67:nothing
Review 68:Nice hotel near the center of Finisterre; it is quiet on the backside
Review 69:Very close to the town and the beach
Review 70:Unnecessarily annoying that breakfast is served so late. Especially as this is such an excellent hotel for the Camino finisterre / muxia. But - they will take breakfast off your bill if you leave before.
Review 71:Ideal location for Camino finisterre, charming staff and outstanding value for money (especially if you get a sea view). Liked it so much I stayed on the way back from muxia as well!
Review 72:Situated on a busy through road so noisy with windows open, very warm night and no air con.
Review 73:Terrific views across the bay. Easy to walk down to the port for supper of fresh seafood. Helpful staff with English, and good breakfast included in price.
Review 74:no comments
Review 75:Location with beautiful sea-view and able to see the sunrise. Very friendly and helpful staff including cleaning staff too. Clean. Location not straight in the town-center, yet very near, which I liked as a camino-walker. I would recommend this hotel!
Review 76:Traffic noise along the busy main road. Breakfast starts service at 0900 - a bit too late for our routine 0600 daily wakeup.
Review 77:Beautiful views of the sea
Review 78:Traffic noise, noise from other guest unlocking doors. Nowhere to hang things, we were pilgrims and we need somewhere to hang wet coats, hats etc.
Review 79:The view from our room, a heater that we could turn on, the helpful staff.
Review 80:Typical lack of sound proofing (seems to prevail in Spanish hostales). Hotel is on a busy road so,there is traffic noise if you are in a sea view room- not unbearable though. Late breakfast service, as I am an early riser.
Review 81:Excellent views from balcony of the sea and pristine beaches. Clean, spacious and great location for, walking OM the beautiful,Langosteira beach.
Review 82:Although it was the end of May it was wet and chilly. There was no heating in the room so it was difficult to dry wet clothes.
Review 83:If you are walking the Camino and want a basic, clean hotel right on the route into Fisterra, then this is fine. Breakfast is included in the price but they do not provide any other meals. The staff are helpful and polite.
Review 84:poor service, ridiculous to have brekfast served so late if many clients are camino pilgrims who want to move on early. Service was poor not very friendly
Review 85:good location , clean
Review 86:The Fisterra village - but that's not a fault of the hotel
Review 87:We had a nice room and very comfortable for 3 people, staff was very kind and friendly. All the place was clean
Review 88:Parking was a slight problem.
Review 89:Very modern, clean and comfortable room.Magnificent view of the beach from our balcony.Friendly staff, delicious breakfast and very convenient location.
Review 90:Thin walls did not block out some inconsiderate customers.
Review 91:Staff was friendly, helpful and speaks English! Lodging was clean & provided fresh towels each day. Location was ideal for hiking to Finisterra Lighthouse & easy day drive to Muxia. Free parking in front of hotel. Short distance to dining.
Review 92:very nice staff, very close to town centre and harbour, if you are in Finisterre you have to check out the bar "el pirata"; it was the best!!
Review 93:This was the final stop on the Camino. We had to walk up 2 flights of stairs to our room, but once there we were facing the ocean with a balcony to enjoy, felt like heaven. Breakfast is not served until 9, a little late but really enjoyed our stay .
Review 94:Everything was great
Review 95:I liked the location, had parking for the car and was only a short walk to the main centre of Fisterra. I also loved the heated floor! Breakfast was also good
