Reviews for Molino El Vinculo
Review 1:The pool had a wonderful view, and was very large, but seemed a little dirty on the sides/chairs. Still appreciative of there being a pool, but this place could be even better with a little tidying in that area.
Review 2:Incredible views of the lake and surrounding mountains, and the most hospitable and friendly owners we've met. The best inn in the best town we saw in Spain on a two-week road trip! Buying the olive oil is a must!
Review 3:This was the most expensive stay of our holiday, yet the worst by far. There's quite a strong foul odour, perhaps of a fertiliser, hitting outside several times each day. There's an even bigger problem with wasps. Hundreds were simply left lying dead in the pool stopping any chance to enjoy the pool. Our barbecue was attacked the second be brought food outside. It just felt like everything that could go wrong, did go wrong.
Review 4:Stunning views of the lake
Review 5:Simple facilities but charming. Comfortable beds, great view of the reservoir.
Review 6:Large, dangerous broken glass table top, wasps everywhere, no hot water upstairs, did not see any pool or outdoor sitting area.
Review 7:Good location
Review 8:Nothing
Review 9:Great views Quiet
Review 10:We stayed in the one bedroom house. The steps up to the house are dangerous and need repair. It was disappointing. Everything inside and outside requires maintenance or renewing ie the rusty, torn, dirty sunbeds and old, dirty barbecue. The list could go on. Some investment is required to bring it up to a reasonable standard. It could be really lovely.
Review 11:The location. Easy walk to town. Lovely views. Swimming pool.
Review 12:the two person villa was a stand alone unit in an older building . It was spacious with a loft bedroom, large terrace and very nice view. Parking is on site.
Review 13:Bugs! Photos were deceptive. Pool only available certain hours. Needs to supply lighter for gas hob. Only had access to wifi during shops opening hours.
Review 14:The villa was in a nice location with a nice view and interesting being in an olive oil company. Tom was helpful.
Review 15:Awesome place located on an old olive farm where they still produce olive oil and other olive products. The view from the house is breathtaking and in recent memory it has been one of the most peaceful locations we have ever been to. Friendly staff really go out of their way to help you and you feel at ease as soon as you arrive. The small town of Zahara is within walking distance. I recommend this house to anyone in need of some quiet time.
Review 16:Very good place to stay while visiting the "pueblos blanco".Independent villa all equipped, with amazing view and the use of a very nice swimming pool. Excellent olive oil!
Review 17:As of July 2013, the directions on the website are outdated (highwaynumbers have been changed), which led us to drive around Ronda lookingfor road numbers that no longer exist. Also, note that the owners andstaff do not stay at the mill at night, so you need to get therebefore 8:00.
Review 18:This is a wonderful place to stay, and the owners were very graciouswith our limited Spanish. It's a very short walk into Zahara de laSierra. Set aside some time during the day to enjoy the pool, whichbeautifully overlooks the valley and the mountains beyond. (It's abig enough pool that you could swim laps if you want to.) We were therein late June, and we'd love to return in November and December whenthey're actually making olive oil.
Review 19:We felt in love with Casa del Escondite in last September, so we had tocome back again for more days this spring. We had possibility to stay inthe Casa Grande as well, and this house is also very nice andcomfortable. And we never forget the marvelous panorama to theunbelievable blue lake and the mountains from the houses. Molino ElVinculo is the perfect place to relax, if you like to enjoy thebeautiful nature, to walk in kind "pueblo blanco" or to themountains. And do not miss the delicious oliva oil and wine of the verykind Host.
