Reviews for Pierre & Vacances L'Alpaga

Review 1:Double bed a bit narrow. Some minors to skiers - not a much space to dry clothes.

Review 2:Good location - close to skilift (Pontillas). Near to apartments small shopping centre. Large free hotel parking close to doors. Balcony and mountains view. Good equipped kitchen.

Review 3:The general location of the rooms in our flat was not convenient, too many narrow corridors. The rooms were small. We saw other flats, they were better.

Review 4:Good location (200m to ski lift), ski rent shop and minimarket are near. This hotel is not far from historic center of the village. The staff was excellent only during the check in,but generally not bad. Self-catering facilities are good.

Review 5:The toilet was rather smelly, so we gave it a good scrub ourselves. I don't think the toilet pot as well as the room had seen a bucket of soapy water and a sponge lately.

Review 6:The apartment was close near the shops, restaurants and the pistes. Comfortable enough for the two of us, plenty storage spaced cupboards for clothes and food. Handy ski lockers on the ground floor. The kitchen had everything in it you could wish for.

Review 7:The closeness to the lifts

Review 8:the location, the cleanliness and the friendly personal

Review 9:Location was easily accessible, parking convenient, in lovely village. It was all reasonably priced - not plush but good value.

Review 10:Lack of access to individual apartments from the parking area meant longand uncomfortable distances to carry luggage etc. this is, in myopinion, a quite serious design flaw in the concept.

Review 11:Reception staff very nice and helpful. It was pretty much as described, reasonable accommodation and facilities at a reasonable price.

Review 12:I would recommend arriving during daylight and while reception is open as it took us a good while at night to locate the office and the room.

Review 13:The scenery! Beautiful location. Staff very helpful and accommodation great for what we needed. Would be excellent to see it in winter for sure.

Review 14:Regarding the residence, not much, perhaps the extra charge of 10 Eurosfor using the safe in the apartment. Regarding the resort(Villeneuve/Serre Chevalier), I found the ski passes relativelyexpensive (240 Euros for the week per adult, where adult is defined asover 12 years of age). The Ski school (esf) only operated courses in themorning from 9-11:30, which was both too early and too short to beuseful to us (especially given the time difference to Ireland/UK andthe recent change to daylight saving time).

Review 15:The apartment was cozy and spacious for the 4 of us, with a double bedin one room and bunk beds for the 2 children in another room (theapartment was for a max of 6-7 people, but with >4 the living roomhas to be used as a bedroom, too). The staff were very friendly, it waspossible to borrow games (E.G. Monopoly) and there was a playstation forthe kids with some car racing game in the reception area (with fixedopening times, so no problem to retrieve the kids). Free car parkingoutside was available and wifi for the family (2 mobiles, 1 tablet and alaptop) cost 25 Euros for the week, which I found relativelyinexpensive.

Review 16:No fault of the apartment but the village bus service is not worth considering. It takes a while to figure out the best way of getting to/from the apartment but it's no more than 300m to the lifts.

Review 17:Well appointed apartments and friendly, helpful staff... despite my French! Especially good to have a powerful, stand-up shower after a hard day's skiing - not always the case in French apartments.

Review 18:nothing

Review 19:location

Review 20:All perfect, very confortable

Review 21:The bed was really hard!

Review 22:The staff were excellent, especially the chap on reception. The apartment was well equipped.
