Review 1：Quality of toilet paper, very poor for a 4 star hotel costing over £100 a night

Review 2：Choice of smoking and non-smoking rooms. Near to El Cortes Ingles store with supermarket, various restaurants and and a rooftop bar. Easy walking distance to train and bus station and main attractions.

Review 3：Was allocated a room without tea/coffee making facilities. Strong smell from sink. Had a fantastic room when we stayed in May with tea/coffee?

Review 5：In an ideal world, it might be better if the graffitti on the other side of the river opposite the hotel was not there, although this appeared to be a problem in various other Spanish cities we visited, not just Malaga.

Review 6：We chose a hotel in this area so that we were on the right side of town for the drive to the airport. It worked out well - far enough away not to hear any planes, but only 20 mins drive away. Also convenient for the elegant buildings of the old town, which are 5 mins walk away. Attentative reception staff. On site underground parking.

I saw two electric bicycles in the lobby but there was no information about whether they were for general use, or the price, but they would be a very good way of exploring the town. As a Booking.com regular, I got a 2 hour check out extension which was very useful.

Review 14：A little more facilities in the room. More wholesome toiletries would have been good. Coffee making facilities in the room would have Ben good and an ironing board desirable.

Review 16：Late one night, after midnight, we were disturbed by construction noises from the floor above us. I had to go down to the reception, but they did stop it immediately. It did not happen again.

Review 18：NH Malaga is a business hotel, a few minutes from the old town. Good size room with nice and clean bathroom (quality toiletries), king size bed. Breakfast is very good: fresh juices, tortilla de batata, omelettes, cakes, fruits...

Review 19：The breakfast was really super, you should try it at least once. We were really happy to have early check in (around 12 o'clock). Big plus for that, really appreciated :).

Review 20：When we were checking in the receptionist was professional but very surly and rushed. We had to ask over our stay for a map of the town which should have been given to us when we were checking in. Again when we were having breakfast staff professional but not friendly or cheerful. But when we were checking out the lady in the reception was very pleasant and enquired about our stay. I feel the welcome you get in a hotel is very important and as we passed the reception throughout our stay nobody greeted us as we passed by. So I feel the hotel lacked good customer care skills. But credit to the lovely lady who checked us out !

Review 21：the hotel was very central for the old town and the marina and beach. The breakfast was excellent and the room very comfortable.

Review 22：We went to the beachclub after travelling to hotel around 5 pm and we were hungry. We could not get anything to eat except for peanuts and olives. There wasnt anything else around either.

Review 23：We are here for our honeymoon and it is amazing. We have stayed in all the big hotels all over the world and absolutely love this one. It is beautifull, a great free spa, good breakfast and big beautifull rooms. Everything is clean and it feels new.

Review 26：All the construction around the hotel while they make big infrastructure changes in the city. The shower which was so very poor in water pressure. The broken safe, which was replaced during the evening.

Review 32：No replacement tea bags after the first night. I had to ask for more at reception. When they weren't delivered after an hour I had to go down and demand them to be given directly to me. It's a minor point but annoying.

Review 34：We had not much time for breakfast due to our flight back home and the waiter took a bowl with ingredients to make scrambled egg for me. I waited for 10-15 min and only then another waiter asked if I'm waiting for the omlet, and after smb remembered about scramled, but I got in 5 min scrambled eggs without any ingredients and without a word. That's can happen - but people can be in a hurry - if you forget anything, it's better to ask again and not making people waiting for the thing they haven't ordered.

Review 35：All is OK, nothing outstanding. Good for car travellers - underground parking is quite big.

Review 36：The windows in our room didnt fit well so even people passing by talking could be heard. On one occasion two members of staff in the bar/restaurant found talking to a mutual friend much more important than serving their customers.

Car parking on-site, although a little expensive at €18 pd – but Ok it is a city centre car park! Recommended.

Review 39：The hotel corridors stank of old smoke. One or two staff members were great, polite and helpful. The rest were grumpy, rude and dismissive. Lacked the subtleties that change an average, run of the mill chain hotel into a great place to stay.

It was the best hotel with an excellent location within few minutes walking you can reach Larios street that can take you as well to different Plazas, to Alcazaba, Castillo of Gibralfaro, to lovely Port of Malaga and Mall of El Corte Ingles. You can find a rich Breakfast Buffet. Very clean hotel with friendly and nice staff. Excellent free Wi-Fi.

Review 43：For a weekend break the hotel's location was perfect,a 5 min walk tothe "old town" with it's numerous restaurants and shops.The staff were excellent at both the reception desk andbar/restaurant.The breakfast for 10 euros cannot be missed !!

Review 44：We stayed here on the first and last night of a 6 day trip the first room we had had a lose bathroom light switch and the bath chain was broken. The hotel needs a bit of an update. The last room we had had an electrical fault with the lights a maintenance man came in the middle of the night and said it wasn't dangerous.

Review 53：Hotel is very good compared to our earlier stay at the AC Malaga by Marriott, close to the attractions friendly staff, only hotel which had its own car park so handy, near the Local Market which is a must as we found this amazing seafood Tapas bar where all the local seem to go, only open during the day and no seating all standing and difficult to get space, was the best food we had on our trip to Seville, Cordoba and Granada, simply a must as the food is prepared fresh as soon as you order and the taste.... outstanding as is the value we went there 2 days in a row and would have gone daily if we had been staying any longer

Quality sleep is very difficult, ask for a room away from the reception area and busy traffic intersection. Also 3.60€ for a 50ml bottle of water is toooooo much.
