Review 1：We had booked a premier/comfort room - and as much as it was bog enough, it has been badly maintained - water leak marks, peeling wall paper, bad paint jobs …

Review 3：The shutters were jammed on our window I fixed them by brute force .The floor in the bedroom bounced the wardrobe when you walked across it. The restaurant was very disappointing

Review 5：Tired old hotel a long way from the town centre. We were very badly affected by mosquitoes overnight (bitten literally hundreds of times) which accounts for the comfort level!

Review 7：The decor was very shabby and in need of attention. Despite alerting to the hotel to my dietary needs I had to provide my own dairy alternatives. Vegetarian meals were advertised in the restaurant but in fact they were simply vegetables with sauce.

Review 9：Tired hotel needs an upgrade dirty carpets in all areas, rooms old fashioned, odd bits of furniture old nylon bed spreads bathrooms need updating. Bad lighting broken light bulbs, room smells fusty and damp.

Review 15：We had paid extra for a Superior room which had had a makeover except the floor which was cheap wood laminate old, scratched and marked. The bathroom had a new bath but the tiled floor was damaged and the sink was scratched and marked and the door hadn't been replaced and was cream and rotten at the bottom. The strange thing was, there were no taps for the water to run into the bath, only a shower hose. This fixing for this was connected to the wall a couple of feet above the side of the bath and there was no shower curtain! So what it meant was - the only way to have a shower was lie in the bath, making it impossible to have a stand up shower and hair wash. When we queried this at Reception we were told that they were't aware of the problem as we were the first people to have the room! So does nobody check a room after refurbishment!

Review 16：The Bar/lounge area was very nice as was the breakfast room/restaurant. The rest of it was very tired with badly stained carpets tatty wallpaper.

Review 26：Warm welcome from staff. Simple rooms but very adequate for purpose. Nice continental buffet breakfast in the mornings and good food in the evening from their restaurant. Bar area was very useful! Spa was an optional extra - nice to unwind and relax.

Review 27：Although the standard room was clean and fairly ok, it was a bit too small to my taste. Next time I would chose for a superior class of room. Would also suggest more private parking lots would be available. Building in general and facilities do need some renovation.

Review 29：Very dated, slightly smelly room, toilet seat worn through to chip board inner. Reception staff did not make us feel at all welcome. We went to the bar the first evening after dinner out and did not get as far as a drink before leaving, very sulky and 'did not seem to want us there' attitude from person behind the bar. We thought, we don't need this, so went to one of the many welcoming places in town and never looked back!

Review 30：Good price for us on budget and I understand they are attempting to rejuvenate the hotel. Location ok, short walk to sea front and main shopping area. Clean room. The town made up for any shortfalls of the hotel, food out and about brilliant! Beach fantastic!

Review 36：Very tired and run down place in need of some tlc. Our room smelled musty and damp. Fridge was making strange noises all night long. Blinds didn't seem to move and left gap at bottom so all could see into room. One radiator missing from wall with pipes sticking out.

Review 40：We stayed here en route to Montreuil sur Mer (where we would be self-catering for 1 week). I wanted to treat the kids to a nice hotel. We gotthis room initially because it had cooking facilities in the"studio ". However it turned out you only get access to thecooking facilities if you stay 4 nights, and we were only staying one.The room was not cleaned properly on arrival, dirty table/chairs,food crumbs, sticky floor, and didn't look as nice as the photo ofthe studio room in the picture we thought we were staying in. Theadvertised free wifi, was not working in our part of the building andthey did not mend it even though we asked them to. There were no bedsidelamps, only large bright main room lighting. The corridor we were in wasvery smelly and low end, compared to the impression of the rest of thehotel. It was hard to get to sleep with everyone's doors squeakingand banging, and the clanging of the Private hotel parking gate, as weoverlooked the car park. The room was very hot at bedtime, even with thewindows open. There were only electric shutters on the bedroom windows -no curtains. We had to have the windows/shutters both open as it wasso hot. So when we did eventually get to sleep with the heat and thenoise, it meant that the sun was shining directly onto our beds and wokeus up really early. They also charged us 88 euros instead of 87booking.com price, but I just wanted to leave and forget the wholeexperience. I would not go to the Regina again.

Review 41：It was near to the beach. They had clean fluffy towels, and the showerworked well. There was a working fridge with ice compartment.

Review 42：The rooms were a disgrace! The carpets and mattress were stained and therooms and upstairs public areas were in need of a complete overhaul! Thepictures on the website were so clearly not this hotel. The barmaid wasmore interested in chatting than in serving.

Review 101：Hotel is very tired inside and in need of updating. A staff member was smoking in the bar area and when travelling with a 7 month old baby with asthma I was not happy. The hotel therefore smells of smoke throughout. I would not recommend this hotel if you are travelling with young children. It was okay for one night but wouldn't stay again and would not recommend it.

Review 103：Toilets very small, I am a large man and to use the toilet I had to go downstairs to the public toilet. Got a surprise when we asked to use the pool, was asked for 25 euros per day. In a 3* hotel facilities like this should be free.

Buerk itself is a small resort with plenty of free parking - the seaside restaurants are reasonable and the staff there and the hotel appreciate the ignorant English who don't speak French. The area is very clean and the beaches stunning
