Review 4：Beautifully appointed boutique hotel. Service is discreet, friendly and totally professional. The food is first class --- when we went there first with friends they booked half-board and we raised an eyebrow, not being used to restricting our choice. But they were 100% right. The whole property surrounds an excellent swimming pool ideal for a totally relaxing holiday. Best rated hotel in Gran Canaria and it is obvious why

Review 5：Maid came storming in to our room at a quarter to 10 in the evening to clean it. We were asleep ... with a 4am taxi to the airport next morning. She was in the room about a quarter of a second after she knocked the door .... very disturbing.

Review 8：It is so quiet and comfortable in the hotel near the swimming pool, that we haven't swimmed in the sea at all. And we felt like special guests during all period of stay. Everything was perfect.

Review 12：Everything about the hotel. Plenty of flowers and plants, design of hotel in keeping with gran canaria, not too big, lovely view on dining terrace.

Review 13：Local golf course at Maspalomas(not part of the hotel) is simply not up to standard - nearest great course is Anfi Tauro - a 25 EUR cab ride away - although the course is sensational. All courses are costly at about 100EUR although why they are all the same price I don't understand. The hotel should try to put golfers together that are travelling to the same course at the same time.

Review 14：Beautiful small colonial style with flowers and palm trees everywhere. Staff were faultless through our stay and exceptionally helpful all the time. Very traditional styling with classic Spanish ceramics and furniture. More than enough room for all guest to have a great spot near the large pool with lounger and always a good table at dinner, cuisine was excellent with mainly Spanish food cooked and served to perfection. Leisure facilities - gym, spa and additional spa pool were excellent. Room was elegant and spacious again in a traditional style although the rooms face into each other and not to the coast which means you don't really get a great view from any room. All round a top small resort for our New Year getaway. Tip:the hotel do a private airport transfer at 48 EUR in E class Mercedes which is not bad value. Also you can use the facilities of the Palm Beach Hotel next door which is owned by same company

Review 36：Requested very quiet room with nice aspect but allocated room 2m from black fence shielding restaurant. Not acceptable for enormous price and 'Leading hotel of world'. Had spoken to hotel before booking. Was told this was best avail. For category and we were lucky we hadn't been given one backing onto bus station-yes, Bus station! The location was shocking for top hotel. The grounds were immaculate-very pretty bits of planting but in fact they were small and only place to sit was round the pool. A big disappointment.

Review 42：A really beautiful hotel, both the interior and the grounds are extremely attractive,well appointed and spotlessly clean and tidy - no scuff marks or worn out fittings or furnishings - very high standards throughout. Huge bed, double basins in the in the bathroom with separate toilet - chocolates left in the room each day and a bowl of fruit on arrival. Beds turned down at night. Lovely pool area, surrounded by gorgeous plants and palm trees, with plenty of sun beds (although unfortunately we still got the towels on the sun beds before breakfast). We had half board and the food was exceptional, especially the choice at breakfast. Nice poolside cafe for freshly cooked lunch. Also exceptional is the attentiveness of the staff - anything you asked for was sorted out immediately, they are all very helpful and friendly - Jorge at poolside is always on hand to move the sun beds, put towels and mattresses on them. The beach is nearby and to go there we were given a bag each with towels and water. Very peaceful and quiet. All helped by the wonderful climate - late December and averaging 22c.

Review 49：Surprisingly many small management mistakes in the Wellness center of the hotel, for example, they gave me the booklet with the old prices but charges me for the treatment according to the new, more expensive price, but forgot to inform me, and they gave the wrong information about the time of the yoga course, as a result I came when it was already in the very end, and I was so much looking forward to that course. Wellness center management should really be more accurate, there were not even so many tourists at the hotel at the moment.

Review 52：This hotel is fantastic, from the staff who are so professional and curteous, the food, the BBQ nights are great, the rooms spacious and elegant, the gardens immaculately maintained. This is not a hotel for kids, it is quiet, most of the clientele are 50+ the entertainment is low key, it is a hotel to relax, and be pampered. Spa and wellness, with Sauna, Steam room, Gym is excellent. A 5min stroll to be beach and designer shops makes the location just right. The taxis are very cheap if you want to get out a bit, but you won't want to leave this little gem!
