Reviews for Hotel Playa Langosteira
Review 1:We had an amazing room overlooking the ocean. Everything about this hotel was great. The staff, the location, the food. It was about a 15 minutes walk to the main downtown area but we liked it because it was quiet & easy to get to. Perfect!
Review 2:About a mile out of Fisterra town - but not too bad. Air conditioning in room was very noisy. Food was OK - but had better.
Review 3:Fantastic hotel with great staff.
Review 4:Nothing bad to write here. We loved everything about this hotel.
Review 5:This hotel is beautiful. The staff are most helpful and friendly. The hotel is spotless and the lovely fresh smell you get when you walk into the bedroom makes you very aware that the staff care.
Review 6:Location is off a busy street, not very close to any restaurants. It is near the beach, but the street definitely takes away from the charm. Clean accommodations though.
Review 7:Booked superior room and got the junior suite. Generous spacious room with sitting area and table. Jacuzzi in bath room with twin sing and separate shower. Airconditioning. Big balcony. 100m to beach. 100m to pharmacy and supermarket. Good buffet breakfast. Good laundry facility. Highly recommend.
Review 8:Blow dryer didn't work in 2 of our rooms and it could use a little updating.
Review 9:The staff was very friendly and helpful. They actually made the stay much nicer.
Review 10:We loved everything. This was a great "find"!
Review 11:The hotel is extremely comfortable, the staff was excellent, front desk excellent. Proximity to town is a short pleasant walk along the beach which is right across the street from the hotel. Breakfast was really good. The beach is big with manicured sand and crystal clear water. There are plenty of shell to discover as well. This is a great ace to vacation!!
Review 12:No bad experiences, just not too much to do other than the beach.
Review 13:Very helpful staff, I was sick and they were so sweet. On our last day there was no taxi to take us to the bus station and the owner took me in his car. Could not have been more accommodating.
Review 14:The bed was really uncomfortable with an unforgiving plastic cover over the mattress .. (that was removed quick smart!!) The pillows were awful and lots of noise from within the corridors of Hotel.
Review 15:The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. We enjoyed an excellent dinner, however the location was a bit out of the way.
Review 16:The hotel is a 10 min walk into the centre of town, but this is not so bad because it is next to the beach and the centre of town is noisy
Review 17:Closeness to beach, friendly staff, excellent breakfast
Review 18:Being able to hear the jacuzzi in the next door junior suite at 10.30pm.Best advice is to book the suite for yourself for a truly perfect stay!
Review 19:Great location for the fabulous beach. Hotel was clean and comfortable. We had a room with balcony overlooking the sea (in the distance). It wasa spacious room with separate tv area. Bathroom good. Lunch wasfantastic with huge portions, plenty of wine and only €10 for menu ofthe day. Absolute bargain. Plenty to choose from for breakfast too.Garage parking under hotel for €8 which was well worth it in the hotweather. Staff very helpful. Totally recommend this hotel.
Review 20:Main road is a bit noisy
Review 21:staff is efficient, nice and welcoming room comfortable, clean cross the street there is a beautiful promenade on the beach side
Review 22:Unfortunately, the rooms have poor sound insulation. We could hear people talking from different rooms.
Review 23:We had an excellent dinner and very good breakfast. Our room was very clean and spacious and the staff was very friendly.
Review 24:A little out of the way - 1.6 km from town centre and bus stop. Restaurant prices on the high side. Reception desk is closed from midnight to 0600 and guests have to use back staircase during these times.
Review 25:Very helpful and polite staff. Rooms are spacious and clean. Great if you are visiting for a beach holiday.
Review 26:After 3 days of walking we finally made it to this hotel and all we found was heaven! the staff welcomed us in a good English and showed us our beautiful room! everything quite modern and very clean with a comfortable bed and a big bathroom! we enjoyed our stay at the hotel very much!! The breakfast was a buffet with all kinds of fruits, breds and cereals... way more than one person could eat but a very good start in a day! also again very friendly waiters! we would definetly recommend it!
Review 27:The only thing I didn't like was the hair dryer. It was in a very awkward place to use. But that's a very small dislike!

Review 30:Fantastic room - really a suite! Great staff. Easy location. Cleanliness. Good breakfast and superb value.
Review 31:The location is not good. It is really far from anything but the beach. It is not beachfront either. Who wants to look at roads and half-built buildings.
Review 32:The staff was very nice and helpful. The restaurant was ok.
Review 33:AC unit noisy and positioned right above the bed. Not a problem for us but be aware this hotel is a good 20/30 minute walk into town.
Review 34:Location close to the beach and not too far from town. Friendly staff with no language problems. Squeaky clean well equipped and spacious room and balcony with a view to die for. Nice bar and lounge area. Free parking outside the hotel door. Nice food served in a lovely atmosphere. Good strong reliable WiFi signal.
Review 35:This family-run hotel provides top-notch service and are personable and accommodating. They take a personal interest in their guests and do everything possible to provide a pleasant stay. The access to the beach is right across the street from the hotel...couldn't be better situated in terms of beach time, and access to the scenic rock path along the beach that leads to the center of Fisterre.

Review 96:The ocean view was not as ecpected, but everything else made up for that.
Review 97:Great location. Free parking. Excellent food. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would highly recommend this hotel.
Review 98:The hotel shuts down after 11 pm (?) and you get locked on your floor. The only way out is through the stair well with an exit through thebasement garage (watch-out for the zombies). You can't get to thelobby as it is locked down. And, if you're not careful you could getlocked out and there is no staff to let you back in. If you're intothe night life this can be a problem.
Review 99:The front desk staff was excellent. The Location was convenient justoutside of town and parking was free and convenient at curbside. Thefacilities are new and very nice and frankly pretty immaculate. The barand restaurant are nicely designed with a good selection and service andthe value overall is pretty good.

Review 106:The restaurant food was so-so. Also, the town center and big supermarketwas a bit far(40 min walk).
Review 107:The manager was very friendly and his English was by far the bestI've seen in Spain. Rooms and bathroom were very clean and spacious.Hotel was one street across from Langosteira beach!
Review 108:Nothing it was all good.
Review 109:This is a wonderful hotel 5 mins from the beach. Rooms presented very well, staff friendly and professional. Excellent breakfast. Air conditioning and the quietness of the hotel made for a great nights sleep. We are planning another visit later this year.
Review 110:It is a long walk from town, a deserted area (residential and partly constructed/abandoned buildings), the beach is not the best in Finisterre.
Review 111:Proximity to beach
Review 112:The hotel, while across the street from a nice beach, is not "in" Finisterre- about a 5-10 minute walk. Not a big negative, just be aware that you will have to walk or taxi if you are wanting to visit Finisterre. Dinner was expensive - stick with the breakfast buffet
Review 113:Very clean, staff friendly and helpful. They arranged a taxi to pick us up after the sunset at the lighthouse- much appreciated ! Nice breakfast buffet
Review 114:The hotel was perfect. It's a family run hotel and the staff is welcoming, friendly and professional. The gentleman at the front desk is very helpful and kind. I have already recommend this hotel to people travelling to Finnesterre. I will be back!

Review 116:Allocated Junior Suite which is possibly best room in hotel. Breakfast included. Friendly and helpful staff. Good food.
