Reviews for La Casa del Seise
Review 1:The accomodation was fine but I was disappointed by Baeza generally. Bars and restaurants seemed to operate as tourist traps without the offsetting advantage of any big tourist sights!
Review 2:The apartment was good and situated centrally in Baeza (which admittedly is not a big place). No complaints.
Review 3:We loved staying in this apartment. It was decorated to a high standard and there was everything that we needed. It was also in a quiet street only a few steps from the centre of the town. We breakfasted on the terrace each morning with the swallows swooping over head. Would also recommend a visit to Ubeda whilst you are there as also a beautiful city.
Review 4:I only had a few small issues. The main issue I had was with the size of the double bed. They are made for the more petite Spanish couples. Although comfortable, they are not big enough for taller/larger people to sleep comfortably. I woke up a few times during the night due to it. The single beds seemed fine. The apartment did not have a kettle, at least one that I could find. Also the apartments do not have a lift of any kind for elderly people or people with mobility difficulties. However, my mother in her 80's managed it okay, but we were only there for one night. Also, problems outside the control of the owners is that there is no parking allowed near the apartment for non-residents, as it is within the old town walls. However, we were able to park for a short period as we dropped in and collected our bags. However, none of these really bothered us too much as were only there for one night and we were able to drop my elderly mother off first before parking the car elsewhere. But it may be a problem for those staying longer.
Review 5:The location of this property is difficult to beat. It is right in the centre of Baeza. The cleanliness is next to none and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was well-sized, lovely and quiet and the way the accommodation is organised is excellent. Our bedrooms did not face onto the street, disturbing our peaceful sleep (not that it was loud there anyway). The kitchen was well supplied and spotlessly clean, as was the whole apartment. The two showers were an excellent size, even for taller and larger people, and also for my mother in her 80's. It was a wonderful place to stay. I could have stayed here for a week.
Review 6:We struggled a bit to find it. Just asking the people in Baeza for the address does not work, we recommend to take a map :)
Review 7:The apartment is cosy and very spacious. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The apartment is located right in the centre, seconds from the university and from the main square with restaurants and playground. Very good value for money. Free parking very close by.
Review 8:Really nothing!
Review 9:It was spacious, clean and cool. The location in the centre was beautifull and quiet. The bed was perfect and our terrace had a nice view on the cathedral.
Review 10:Bit tricky to find on a car. Recommend Park near tourist info then walk.
Review 11:amazingly good value for money. Lovely staff. Central location.
Review 12:no balcony for a cigarette!
Review 13:perfect location and having our own house!
Review 14:If I was being very picky it was a bit odd not to have a kettle but we managed fine!
Review 15:Everything about this apartment was perfect. It was spotlessly clean, spacious, well equipped and in a fabulous location. Very quiet, right in the heart of Baeza and a stones throw from the square. The lady in the shop was very helpful and showed us where we could park our car for free. We will definitely be going back.
Review 16:Two small windows in the roof, no windows in the walls. But it was so authentic!
Review 17:Very good location, spacious apartment. All facilities you need in the kitchen. Very good value for money. No registration desk, but the apartments are close to the shop where we took the keys and got all instructions. Quiet apartment.
Review 18:We had a double bed with a mattress that was really uncomfortable. You could feel the springs through the mattress and felt it must have been really old. Suggest they replace it for further customers!
Review 19:We had the top floor apartment which had a roof terrace that looked over Beaza city. The apartment was clean and in the kitchen you had everything you wanted. The apartment was very pretty
Review 20:Central heating was air conditioning unit creating a dry atmosphere.
Review 21:The locality, tranquility. Very well equipped apart from no electric kettle, but we took our own!
Review 22:not a thing
Review 23:The apartment is near the main Plaza of Baeza but so peaceful and quiet, the owner was very helpful. Two doors down the road is the Pena Flamenco that do lovely tapas, we had no trouble parking the car just down the road, we didn't need it again as every thing was in walking distance.
Review 24:We could not get the aircon units to work. Our fault for not asking our host.
Review 25:Helpful friendly owner. The apartments have an excellent central location in the beautiful old part of town. The apartment was spacious, comfortable and very well equipped with everything we needed for self catering.
Review 26:The fact that the apartment was on two floors with the bathroom downstairs was a concern for my husband at night.
Review 27:We were so lucky to be there during the celebration of Corpus Cristi...the area was all decorated and we also saw the parade!
Review 28:Very cold, as the heating only heated the upper half of the apartment, leaving the lower half cold (hot air rising, etc.). In fairness, this is only a problem during the colder months. Unfortunately, however, the mattresses were very uncomfortable - you can feel the springs just by placing your hand on the mattress, meaning you are very unlikely to get a decent night's sleep. This is a shame, as otherwise, I would highly recommend the place.
Review 29:Very pretty duplex apartment, beautifully furnished. Located in the centre of Baeza, right behind the tourist office.
