Review 1：Dark bathroom, with bath under the slope roof which make it impossible to take a shower. Very poor breakfast. Old furnitures and steps which make squeaky noises.
Review 2：Convenient situated hotel, 2 min. walk from the old town. Very comfortable bed. Great view from the spacious balcony. Very kind and friendly staff.

Review 12：Mittenwald is a charming, small village at the base of the Bavarian Alps, and Pension Bavaria is equally charming. Our room had a balcony with a splendid view of the mountains. The breakfasts were wonderful and the staff absolutely cordial and helpful.
Review 13：The breakfast was adequate but was the same each morning. The meat, cheese and rolls were fresh but a little more variety would have been welcome. Perhaps adding some fresh fruit, more cereals and pastries would improve the overall experience.
Review 14：The room was clean and of a good size. The shower was modern and clean and always had hot water. There was everything that we expected from the advertised details. There was even a kettle and tea/coffee that was not advertised and was an unexpected but very welcome addition to the facilities. There was also a communal fridge to keep your drinks in. Good eating places very close by or a short walk to the shops and restaurants.Overall a very nice place to stay if you want value for money.
Review 15：The owners are really friendly and helpful. The rooms are in an older-style building with a lot of Bavarian charm. We had a lovely room with balcony overlooking the mountains and Mittenwald. It was very clean and quiet.

Review 18：The staff helped us out immensely and the breakfast was lovely. The hotel is a bit out of the way if you're a train traveler but it's easy to find once you've got your bearings and there is a taxi service. The room was lovely, small but updated and clean!

Review 28：Breakfast time could be a little earlier to accommodate many trains that leave Mittenwald close to the start of breakfast, but the hosts accommodated a slightly earlier time, so we could eat and not miss our train.

Review 72：Our host was bilingual and always available; he shared helpful information about Mittenwald, and we had some good conversations about general topics too. The location is a short walk from the pedestrian street, downtown. Our balcony had a clear view of the Karwendel mountains. Everything was clean and inviting. We extended our stay to eight days because we loved the pension, the town, and the surrounding mountain countryside.

Review 77：We loved the town and the location. We could walk easily to the sights and main shopping/dining area. The hotel was very bright both inside and out. Our room was clean and a good size. The bathroom was a bit small but fine for us. The breakfast was very nice and included in the rate.

The staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was delightful -- fresh yoghurt, fruit, sliced meats and cheeses, granola, juice and bread that was still hot early in the morning. Fritz, one of the owners, provided great advice each day on hikes. This hotel is a few blocks away from the center city, so it is a little less expensive -- and a lot quieter. We loved Mittenwald -- it seemed that everyone in the town was hiking, heading in every possible direction for trails. The restaurants were also wonderful. A great five-night vacation.

Excellent host who spoke English. Good breakfast. Walking distance to a marvelous restaurant with biergarten - just go north and it's on the west side (Gasthaus Romer-something).
