Reviews for Hotel Club Can Jordi

Review 1:Ithas all the the kitchen equipment to be agreat restaurant but fails to use it to its potential

Review 2:Loved the place but it needs a proper manager to do the bar and organise different meals with this hotelcan jordi could be one of the most desirable places in the quiet part of ibiza

Review 3:Could do with some general maintenance and updating 1 bus in the morning during the week - you need a car if you want to explore

Review 4:Quiet location and hotel not noisy Good value Clean and spacious rooms Great beaches close by Friendly and helpful staff Great for families and those wanting peace - not for clubbers

Review 5:It wasn't clear to either me or my friend that the room we booked didn't have A/C! Usually this would not be a big problem, except this time it was really hot and humid at night. We barely slept the first night! Thankfully, the owner managed to move us to an airconditioned room the other nights!

Review 6:We were looking to stay in a less-busy area of Ibiza. Club Can Jordi was the perfect combination of quiet resort, close to a beach and value for money. Breakfast was pretty okay and even though we didn't use the swimming pool it looked very clean and nice!

Review 7:Breakfast was ok although buffer food needs covering up as lots of flies! Wifi could only be accessed in small bar/restaurant area only which caused some issues and nobody really there to help you after midnight! Paid for superior room but air conditioning not that great as one of the lights pilot light in room had to be left on to keep it working so couldn't have air conditioning on at night unless kept light on and couldn't really leave balcony door open as room was on ground floor level. Probably need a car as taxis are expensive from here and limited public transport/buses.

Review 8:Very lovely peaceful place, family run business in lovely setting. Nice swimming pool, lovely cala Llenya beach within walking distance. If you're looking for the beautiful peaceful part of ibiza this is it! Would recommend!

Review 9:There was a lot of noise in the hallway at night and because of the thin door and thin walls, you could here a lot of the noise of the people. The location is a bit isolated which makes it hard to travel if you don't rent a car because busses don't run so often.

Review 10:The pool was super ! As was the view. The common area was very lovely. Breakfast had a lot of choice. The buffet in the evening was convenient and the staff was very friendly. Possibility to rent bikes was great, especially if you don't travel by car.

Review 11:When we arrived, we didn't have time to check the room because we had to drop a friend off. By the time we got back and opened the room, it was not cleaned yet with dirty towels and sheets and waste on the bedside tables - and everything a bit smelly. Not a nice welcome...

Review 12:The location, surroundings, breakfast, ok swimming pool, size of the room we ended up in and the way the rooms are built - like small cottages up a hill. We had to make a few phonecalls at 1 in the morning when we needed a new room, but we got one.

Review 13:The room was dirty with spider webs on the lamps, it was dark and very warm with very little air coming inside when leaving the door open. There was only one plug available to be used. We were 2 girls staying there so with lot of electric devices to use for our air (to do it or remove it) and it was very difficult plus the phones etc... The cleaner was not cleaning properly and was only making the bed and changing the towels. And the towels were very damaged, shredding and with dark marks on them so very unhygienic. We felt that we have been very neglected and that it was not worth the price. Next time we will definitely pay more for a better standing of hygiene and comfort.

Review 14:The venue from outside, the location, the quiteness and the people were nice and friendly

Review 15:Standard rooms absolutely appalling. Requested an upgrade and duly paid€80 Euro cash for 2 nights in superior room. Returned home and an extra€60 Euro taken from my card without my consent or authorisation!Business slow to refund and am still out of pocket because of theexchange rate and international charges. Business doesn't seem tocare and certainly not interested in going the extra mile for customerservice. And also why the difference in upgrade cost - is it €60 or €80?Was the reception pocketing €20? Awful experience from start to finishand still unresolved nearly 2 weeks later. Avoid.

Review 16:Bar is cheap.

Review 17:The staff was very unfriendly and rude, not service minded at all. Theydid not speak good English. They only spoke german and in the hotelthings were written in german. Long way to beach and location is bad.Our hotel room did not have any view over mountain or beach aspromissed, instead we had a view of the main road!!! Hotel room was verysmall, felt like a hostal and not a hotel. Dont go here!

Review 18:- The first night, we were not accomodated in the superior room we booked. After waiting half day (!) we could change. - wasps at breakfast - dinner buffet (eat at Ca'n Pep!) - free wifi only at reception

Review 19:- pool - breakfast - clean room (once we were accomodated in the right one!) - parking

Review 20:Wouldn't recommend an all-in stay, lunch and dinner buffet didn't look convincing (but we didn't try it).

Review 21:Can jordi is the perfect spot for those who are looking for a laidback stay in the north of Ibiza. The room was very nice with a clean bathroom and decent air conditioning. The staff was very friendly and polite. Breakfast was very basic but ok for the price. We will defenitely consider recommending this to other people who are looking for a relaxing stay (because nightclubs are about a 30min drive away).

Review 22:Whats not to like!

Review 23:Staff Fantastic. Breakfast excellent. Pool lovely. Room with balcony very good with fridge. Air Con available at extra cost. Great value for money.

Review 24:I really liked this lovely hotel and I would definately recommend it...and of course come back! Ideal position (not far from wonderful beaches and nice little villages), good atmosphere, charming structure and very welcoming host Gonzalo!!

Review 25:Rooms need renovation/update. Eg walls could use a fresh paint, curtains not covering full window and hanging very poorly, looks crummy. Would have appreciated dark curtains as it gets light at ~6...Balcony furniture is old/worn. Really a pity as a little clean up here can go a long way! Wifi only in front of reception. Not a place to go if you need to work. I had dinner (buffet) at hotel one evening and thought never again! Did see other guests having dinner again so I guess they had a better experience. Most people go out for dinner. Breakfast is ok, not fab, just ok.

Review 26:Location, spacious set up, garden, view from room, room size, friendly staff, good airconditioning. Good place to stay from where you visit beaches around the island. Would not stay at pool at hotel all day, no one really does. Great bakery in st charles to get fresh juice and coffee on yr way to a beach ;) All beaches within reach by car, at least two very pretty beaches very close by (eg cala calenya)

Review 27:transport to/from the hotel was limited only 3 buses a day there n back 1st being 9am last 8pm and no bus Sunday.

Review 28:we came as a couple looking for a calm, peaceful rest and that's what we got. The hotel is small and tucked out of the way.It is calm and relaxing lovely pool area and although the staff didn't speak much English they were pleasant and helpful. The room we got was adequate decent shower and a small fridge but we didn't pay much I am sure you can upgrade if wanted. The breakfast was a pleasure to get up for relaxed and cosy. the 'village' was a very quite area. bit of trek to the beach up/down a hill. only 2 supermarket/shop in the area and only a couple of restaurants but there is a lovely quite family run one just across the road can'n pep.

Review 29:Wifi weird

Review 30:The best wiew is from the room #205! Sea, pool and (attention!) sunrise!

Review 31:very quiet swimming pool. Excellent for young children or relaxing. The charming receptionist makes the Spanish sun even more bright ;-)

Review 32:La chica en recepción era muy amable y atenta y nos ayudó mucho

Review 33:The matras doesn't bring much sleep comfort.

Review 34:Hotel is situated in a nice tranquile part of the island. Rooms are basic but clean.

Review 35:Limited wifi coverage

Review 36:The people made it amazing. The facilities are basic but sufficient.

Review 37:not much of an effort to make the decoration of the rooms more "cosy"

Review 38:quite and in a beautiful part of the island

Review 39:Too far away from the ocean. Terrible wi-fi connection. The rooms look completely different from what you see on the pictures.

Review 40:We didn't like the breakfast and food. The breakfast was really poor.

Review 41:The hotel is located in a nice area and has a beautifull view.

Review 42:The breakfast was a bit dated.

Review 43:The location & the peacefulness

Review 44:Rooms are very basic and lacked a fan or aircon... We didn't get around to asking for a fan but a fan in each room on arrival would be expected to be honest! We loved the hotel tho

Review 45:Great vibe, very chilled, really helpful and friendly hosts. Perfect, chilled hotel, nice pool. Would definitely recommend

Review 46:- We brought our little dog and was no problem at all (dogs not alowed on public beach but in beachclubs no problem e.g. Atzaro, Experimental, Amante, etc) - Super friendly staff - real family hotel with mom, son and daugther running the show - Real value for money: super location, great pool, clean rooms, airco, frig, parking, nice breakfast, good bar and many others - We were looking for cheap hotel to travel around the island in rental car visiting beachclubs and stuff to spend our money there in stead of overated hotel; if this is what you are looking for Can Jordi is your place!

Review 47:Rooms are very date'ed, rooms are clean and the hotel to but still I saw geco's and lizards maybe not the guilt of Can Jordi but still i didn't liked it, there are a lot of musquitos I bought my own anti ants and musquitos boxes costs € 50,- for my 19 days staying but it helped ! The restaurant of Can Jordi has not a very good kitchen ; greasy food not very tastefull certainly if you compare it with the rest of food availibility in Ibiza. I haven't took any diner there only 2 times a lunch also not something to compliment on, the hotel has wifi but not evrywhere and NO guest computer also in the nearby village there is no internet café they realy should facilitate this for their guests Luckely when i needed a pc desprately I could borrow one of the owners of Can Jordi but still this should be available for all guests a computer to internet/print on. Bathroom is very date'ed and no light in the shower. Please note everything is clean but very date'ed for € 70,- a night you would certainly say not worthy on the other side . That are the prices you pay during the high season in Ibiza summer months. Can Jordi is still not the most exepnsive one comparing to other hotels. So in this situation you get realy value for your money altough in basic you would say "no" maybe they can make it a bit more luxe beter facilated to get a better price balance. The rooms are loudy you can hear your neighbours. They should put more night light serounding the parking , If you come in the middle of the night back of clubing it is scary to walk in the dark from the parkinglot to your room back. ZERO airco not in the rooms maybe only in the upgraded ones. But in main places like the restaurant also no airco very hot sometimes ! These points are maybe negative but in overall comment i still would choose for Can Jordi. Especially because a perfect hotel doesn't excist nothing beats your own bed.

Review 48:Can Jordi is a very basic hotel. But a very spirited and warm hearted hotel. I've stayed 19 days and for 19 days I have been pampered and treated very good. I am a luxery girl Can Jordi is NOT a luxe hotel, but the base they have is a good one. Better to visit a hotel with a certain base, than a hotel with a big PR budget and promotes to be luxe were you pay a lot for but don't find. The swimming pool you see at the pictures of Can Jordi is in LIVE much bigger. Rent a car if you stay in Can Jordi this is realy a MUST to be mobile. Because the hotel is located in the more quite part of Ibiza , you get stuck in Can Jordi if you don't have a car and taxi's are very expensive. The location of Can Jordi is nice for the part of the Island, nearby a (family) beach cala Llenya. Not my favorite beach because it has not much ambiance, but still it is from a walking distance of Can Jordi. If you want ibiza ambiance Can Jordi is the place to be the staff is very friendly, genuine , hard workers and devoted to do everything for their guests what lays within their power. Altough it is not a poshy hotel and realy more back to basic, I can see myself certainly comeing back again. The hotel bar has reasonable prices if you compare it with the rest of the Island. Overall comment : Can Jordi has stolen my heart, j'adore !

Review 49:Can`t think of any....

Review 50:Very relaxing chilled out atmosphere so peaceful. Hardly knew anyone else was there....friendly staff. Good sized pool - liked the ping pong table.

Review 51:As a woman travelling alone for the first time it was important for me to feel safe and secure in my environment. As soon as I arrived I felt the warm friendly atmosphere and the staff made me feel very much at home. I needed an escape from my busy life in London and this hotel offers the tranquillity to completely chill out. There are plenty of beautiful beaches to discover in the nearby area and its only 30mins drive to Ibiza Town if you want a bit of action. I cannot wait to return to Hotel Club Can Jordi, it really did surpass my expectations and for the price you cannot go wrong.

Review 52:Lovely hotel in an ideal setting - away from the busy resorts and really quiet. A hire car is a must if you want explore all that Ibiza has to offer. We visited in August and it wasn't full by any means. Popular with German customers.

Review 53:no airconditioning in the first room (we had to upgrade because it was too hot to sleep), lack of warm water for 2 days

Review 54:friendly staff, clean and relatively big swimming pool, green hills around

Review 55:I cannot think of a single thing I was not happy with

Review 56:I liked everything about this place. What a change from the horrible place of sant Antonio. Polite friendly service with a really calm relaxed atmosphere. Will be telling everyone about can jordi

Review 57:Beds: I sleep just fine about anywhere, however, I could clearly feel the mattress-springs and I can imagine that's a big issue for some. Location: we normally stay in the south. This Hotel is located in the North-east and therefore if you plan to visit i.e. cala tarida prepare for a 45 minute drive.

Review 58:price/quality ratio is perfect. You get what you pay for and a little bit extra. Good service and breakfast. clean rooms etc.

Review 59:pool had lots of insects floating on it. Accommodation a bit run down in places. W loved the peaceful location but don't come here if you want anything other than a get away from it all retreat.

Review 60:Idyllic peaceful location with very friendly, helpful staff. Sampled the evening buffet menu which was excellent value for money.

Review 61:Friendly staff & service Beautiful Nice atmosphere Clean appartment Good value for money

Review 62:Nothing!

Review 63:Totally relaxing, away from any noise and stress!

Review 64:Super friendly staff and the quiet and relaxing atmosphere.

Review 65:No air conditioned room for 100 € per night.Old rooms.

Review 66:Very good location.Quite place close to wonderful beaches.
