Review 1：The superior studio we booked was in no way superior. No welcome tray or even water. The TV did not work and the room was tiny. Fortunately we only had to stay for one night. Never again.

Review 3：The half pension is extraordinary expensive (25 Euro/person/day only for the dinner without drink) regarding to the quality of the dinner. Every day (breakfast and dinner) the same food which wasnt really good at all. Eating in a restaurant is also cheaper and the food is much better!!! Wifi in the room costs extra, I would suggest: if you can only use free Internet in the hall, why isn never open the bar there, a lot of people sit there always and you cannot even drink a coffee or a beer. Room cleaning was only once a week.

Review 9：We arrived at 11 PM with a small child, and had to wait half an hour till the receptionist finished registering two families before us.The receptionist insisted on charging us with our own currency (not the local Euro), which is more expensive. When I reacted on this, he misunderstood me and thought I cursed him, and threatened to throw us from the hotel. We later were assured by the reception manager that he was wrong.Although we called two times before arrival to ensure that there is an open grocery store in the hotel, the night receptionist closed it, and re-opened it only after arguing, since we had to get food for the child.In the room there were bed sheets only one very large blanket, and late at night we had to request bed sheets. The staff provided them rapidly.The water boiler in our room was defect, and there was no hot water. That was repaired the next morning.There are two different WIFI networks in the rooms, but the night receptionist told us of only one of them, and that one was so weak that we could hardly use it. Only two days later, by accident, we heard that there is another network.We paid for breakfast in advance. However, the breakfast in the first day was very depressing, especially the coffee – not sure what it is made of. We asked to cancel the breakfast. The manager of the day reception, Mr. Fran, was very kind and reimbursed us for the breakfast.The safe in the room can be activated only by buying a code in the reception. That is a bit petty, since every traveler today carries valuables and needs a safe. It would be easier if the safe charge was added to the room’s price, to save the bureaucratic work.The bathroom in our room had a light smell from the sewer. We were too exhausted from all the logistical hassle, and didn’t bother to move to another room, although in other rooms there was no smell.All in all, we spent much too much time and energy on logistical troubles, and that marred the first two days of our stay. Only Mr.

Review 15：The coach in the living room was extremely uncomfortable for the kids to sleep.For an adult is completely impossible to have a rest on it.Very old and with bad smell. Also the bathroom had a very bad smell when entering and was a bit dated.

Away from a popular beach spot by car.Enough parking close by and they have a 24 hour mini mart that you canget things you've maybe forgotten.

Review 19：The main thing which was disappointing was the fact that there wasn't Internet in the rooms. And the Internet in the lounge was slow. The area as well was lacking with things to do, unless of course you're an avid golfer. Being British I felt a bit let down when there were no complimentary tea bags about either.

Review 23：This development is very tired, rooms lack air con, french window not very secure and had to push glass to get it closed. Quite popular with ants. Wheezing ceiling fan. Rickety cooking pots. I was there for golf and did not use the pool or the outside areas though they looked good, if cramped. Most if not all balconies look in on the pool like an amphitheater so not much privacy. No good restaurants nearby, a bit locked in the 70's.

Review 24：I hadn't realised I'd booked an apartmenrt so there was more room and I could brew my own coffee and dump the golf clubs with ease. Lots of hot water. Microwave, kettle, coffee filter, cooker provided.

Review 25：WiFi only for 6€/device (at the reception it was free). A little 'oldish' furitures but for the money it was still perfect. A little far from the ocean / beaches, you will need a car.

Review 27：I booked the Superior One-bedroom apartment that sleeps 4 people. It was supposed to come with a double bed and sleeper-sofa. However, the sofa did not pull out into a bed. There was a twin mattress that pulled out from under the sofa and the 4th person had to sleep on the couch cushions. Everything costs extra. Internet in room- 20 euros/night. Hot breakfast to go with cereal - 2 Euros extra. You even had to pay for a towel at the pool. The room we were given was on the back side of the hotel, near the street where they took out the garbage. There is no A/C so we had to sleep with the windows open. If it was during the height of the season, it would have been really nosy.

Review 28：welcome at reception was a disaster!, although they were expecting us, our apartment was not ready and to make matters worse, we were told to sleep on the sofas of the reception as an option!! or go away and pay another hotel room for 1 night.. disgusting behavior. totally wrong .

Review 55：Restaurant did not open until 19. For my children it was best to eat around 18 so they wouldn't get irritated. So we were never able to eat at the restaurant. We were not told when and how often cleaning service would come so they often interrupted my children's nap time and our room wasn't cleaned.

Review 67：a nice hotel, nice gardens, pool was good for family, kids, adults. Quiet location. Suitable for those not wanting the craziness of the busier Playa las Americas/Los Cristianos resorts. Nice Irish Bar, Chinese Restaurant, local Pizzeria Restaurant, shop on street at the back of hotel out the back gate.

Review 80：About Royal Park Albatros.We booked this hotel for 3 nights in April.Unfortunately one of our friends had been hospitalized, then we missed our plane and we didn't manage to get to Tenerife in time. The next day we bought new tickets to Tenerife, called to the hotel and explained them that we are comming with the delay of two days. As the hotel had been already prepaid for three nights and one night was missed, I asked the hotel to change the dates of our stay and to leave us two nights. The answer was «If booking.com agrees – we could do it». So, I called to booking custommer support, explained them that we had had a force-major and the hotel probably agreed to change the dates or not to withdraw money for one of our three nights if booking.com would support us.The girl from customer service called to the hotel and they said that they cannot do it at all. Ok, never mind – we missed two of our three nights… but we still had one night.We arrived to the hotel, we took our appartment and than we had several problems.1. We were four, but the appartment was prepared only for two guests - two towels, only one bed with linen and nothing for the sofa... I went to the reception, asked them to do something and in 15 minutes we recieved towels and linen.2. While I was negociating at the front desk one of my friend tried to get out from the hotel but didn't managed to do it – we had been given with only ONE electronic key! But we were FOUR!!! Ok, after a half an hour we got one more key.3. After 6 hours in the plane everybody wanted to take a shower. After two of us took the shower the electricity shutted down. And it continued to shut down every 30 seconds. Why? As far as I understand the electricity chain wasn't powerfull enough and when the boiler started working the electricity shutted down. We switched off the TV, the lighting, but still - two of us were forced to take a cold shower.4. We were going to sleep.

Review 81：NO HOT WATER IN THE MORNING!!! NO WAKE UP CALL. We stayed one night, and cold shower before a flight does not make your day, does it. And dont rely on the staff for wake up call, It just wont happen. Only paid Wifi in rooms (free wifi at reception).

Review 84：Booked on a no cancellation deal and the price was very good. The apartment was well equipped and very clean. Was a little concerned about having to have my credit card photocopied as a security deposit but that's their system. The young man on reception was very helpful and tried to reassure me all would be OK. So far it has been. The complex is outside Los Cristianos which can be reached by bus. There are a few bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. I had a meal in the on site restaurant which was nice and reasonably priced. The restaurant seemed a little small for the size of the complex. Pools looked nice but only stayed one night so did not have chance to try them. There is no direct bus to the airport so if you have no car you are best getting a taxi.

Review 85：Bathrooms are very dated. Staff on the reception are very slow and never look at you (always head down). Sun loungers too close together - like sardines.

We were really surprised to read some of the reviews on here and believe it can be put down to people who can't ask questions or dont report a problem and choose to whinge about it in private instead. We had a problem with a few ants on the first day and someone was up right away to fix it. We never saw them again!!! Hotel organized lots of events and we fantasized about bringing our kids here one day given the wonderful set up. Pool was amazing, excursions could be organized our feet, basically everything you need and want for in a resort. Excellent value for money. Couldn't recommend more highly!! If New Zealand wasn't so far away we would make this place our annual getaway!!!!

Review 89：Very expensive wifi, about 6 euro per day, while terrible in quality, no possibility of music or clip downloading, even a simple web page. There are lots of steps inside of complex, only block 6 and 7 have direct access to back street so are practical for aged people. Very uncomfortable bed

Found nice places to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner, supermarkets, pharmacy, gym near the hotel. - Nice staff and nice quiet compound. Cleaners helped us out almoust every day with trash and towels even though we had cleaning only once a week included. - Staff arranged good baby crib and high chair for our two year old. -Maintenance kept the compound clean and did repairs where needed. - Restaurant good for coffee, drinks and icecream, good service. - Playground very small and simple but our two year old liked it and it was on a perfect location near pool and restaurant. - Nice heated pool, childrens pool even warmer than the adult section. - Parking by the compund easy.

Review 93：Perhaps a bit too close to the airport for some, but we knew and were OK with this. Not too much nightlife for youngsters, but fine to us. The funny fixed hairdryer.

Review 138：resort is first pickup point for most excursions so you spend 1 1/2 hours on bus picking up at other hotels before starting the excursion; no marine excursions from local marina; no "good"local beach

Review 139：there are many good restaurants within walking distance; resort has daily activities; groceries within reasonable distance

Review 140：Bed wasn´t too comfy, proximity to airport causes aircraft noise, didn´t disturb us personally though.

Review 141：Very spacious appartement, very clean, good facilities, friendly and helpful staff (complained about the lights not working in the bedroom, maintenance staff arrived within minutes, turned out it actually worked, we just didn´t figure out how), large pool. Hotel is quite large but has a comfy feeling about it due to clever architecture. Close to the airport.

Review 142：No Air Con in our room. 10am check out too early (our flight wasn't till 9pm) and they wanted €70 to keep the room till 5.30pm (we only paid €50 per night to stay there!!)

Review 143：We loved the pool, clean, plenty of free sunbeds (due to travelling out of term time). Area not too busy, just enough local shops/bars/restaurants to suit our needs. Close to the airport so easy transfers. Lovely pool side bar with good choice of snacks.
