Golden Donaire Beach is located on El Racó Beach in La Pineda, Costa Daurada. It offers indoor and outdoor pools, sauna, minigolf course and air-conditioned rooms with a private balcony.

Review 3：Bedrooms basic and a bit tired looking. Staff in the dining room accused me of not paying for drinks one evening then gave us a frosty reception after that. I had paid and also left a tip so I found it upsetting to be accused of not paying. My mistake to leave without getting the receipt. On our last night I had to ask twice for the receipt.
Review 4：Fantastic location right on the beach, staff are constantly cleaning, not just the bedrooms but all of the whole hotel. Bar staff and reception staff very helpful and friendly.
Review 5：The security man offended me, I reported it to reception and they explained to him that I was not happy about they way he followed me to check what I was doing and he never explained to me why he did that or apologised .to me I felt discriminated.

Review 9：The rooms are a bit small but if you plan travelling to another country for a holiday and spend all day in your room then you might be concerned about this.
Review 10：Great for families, as the staff do everything possible to entertain you day and night, and they do a very good job at it. Good choice and quality in the restaurant. Rooms attended to every day. In fact, they seemed to be cleaning the whole place non stop which is great. Bus stop right outside the door so we took quick trips to Tarragona and Salou without hassle.
Review 11：it is embarrassing the swimming pool, it is so small, it is not possible to stay there, too many people for so small swimming pool.
Review 12：the location and the food, it is impressive how they filled the food although we were hundred of people at the same time in the restaurant.
Review 13：The only thing was the lack of shade/umbrellas at the pool and people leaving towels on chairs. After the first day we took to the beach and paid for shade which we are glad we did. However you lose out a little in the activities going on around the pool.
Review 14：Having a hotel on the beach was great. The beach was not too crowded,yet there was a nice atmosphere. I liked the outdoor dining at meal time as the inside was busy, noisy and a bit like a canteen.Outdoors it felt more like a restaurant and it was pleasant looking onto the promenade/ sea.
Review 15：Pillows were uncomfortable. Bed was basic but comfortable.We had to request more toiletries a few times over 9 days,though delivery was prompt each time. Small pool area,so the beach was our choice everyday.

Review 19：- Requested 1st or 8th floor, was given 2nd floor as the top floor is apparently reserved for a specific nationality - Had requested 1st or 8th floors due to tiny lifts and shortage of them so getting a lift to yourself to use the double buggy is impossible - Staff in the restaurant do not want to be there, they are pleasant enough but inefficent and disinterested - Rooms are not great sizewise, no apartment option, spent 4 nights here and then 10 nights in H10 Mediterranean Village, no comparison (but you get what you pay for I guess)
Review 20：- Full Board, compared to other hotels in the region, food was excellent. Love pancakes, love churros, lots of selection, always hot/fresh - Hotel is literally on the beach - 2nd year staying here, new addition is the indoor pool which we used as weather was terrible some of the days - Children's pool was great for our 1.5 and 2.5 year olds, small enough to let them loose, about 1 foot deep and standard depth all the way round
Review 21：the sun area around the pool completely squashed and the indoor pool was always full of dive bombing children - the Brown shirt bar staff were surly and seemed desperate for non all inclusive guests to go away at Midnight so they could close... the room was quite small with a minute bathroom...
Review 22：the location directly on the beach - the staff - all of them in the Restaurant were lovely and welcoming and were very helpful - as were the reception staff and the cleaners too.
Review 23：the food was bland, very noisy atmosphere, the room had no wifi, the walls were paper thin you could hear the neighbour snore. If you are on a budget with young kids and don't mind these issues you will be fine.

Review 25：The rooms have no electric kettle, during lunch and dinner there is no tea or coffee. In all the rooms should be electric kettle and cups. Breakfast should last up to an hour 11 am.

Review 27：I love staying at this hotel I have been here a few times over the past 20years, and it jus keeps improving itself every time I come, really good for young families, entertainment is really good all day and night. On the beach location so perfect for making sand castles and having a dip in the sea. Really would recommend staying here, food was lovely, staff are really friendly too.

Review 31：Location is the biggest selling point of this hotel. The rooms are basic but clean and the evening entertainment was excellent, especially for young families. The pool area was also very good but the water was pretty cold!! Would stay in the same area again (excellent for young families) and would certainly consider staying at this hotel again. Overall, great value for money.

Review 34：not much, our only problem is one of us fell very ill, had to be in hospital for 5 days, BUT hardly anyone in the hospital spoke english which was awful which isnt the hotels faulty, but is a big thing in the hospital if you dont understand each other.

Review 46：- LIFTS were a NIGHTMARE, we were on the 3rd floor and the lift was tiny so if you had a buggy you had to wait for 5mins+ everytime to get an empty life - choose Ground/1st floor or 8th floor if you've kids/buggy - Bar/Pool/Day Restaurant on 1st floor - Rooms very very small for 2 adults and 2 young kids - No apartments in the hotel, no option for adjoining rooms

Review 55：The small pool, no floats allowed in pool because of the size the rush for the sun loungers when the door opens and then these remain unused for most of the day covered by someone's towel, do small children really require a sun lounger! The food for vegetarians, although there was fish available mostly meat dishes and even when you thought there was something suitable for non meat eaters it was covered with small bits of chopped ham, rice salad, coleslaw dish, pizza, courgette and cheese dish all contained ham, why?
