Apartment La Residencia Tarifa sells fast on our site. Featuring a roof-top infinity pool and impressive views across the Strait of Gibraltar to Africa, La Residencia Tarifa is set on the edge of Tarifa’s Old Town. It offers stylish air-conditioned apartments and studios.
Each bright apartment has modern décor, a satellite TV and free Wi-Fi. Most accommodation offers a private balcony or terrace with sea views. The kitchen includes a dishwasher, ceramic hob and coffee machine. There is a bathroom with a walk-in shower and Wi-Fi radio.
La Residencia Tarifa’s roof terrace features a heated infinity pool with temperatures ranging from 28 to 32 degrees, as well as sun loungers. Guests also have free access to the sauna. There is a laundry room, including a tumble dryer.

Review 9：We discovered this place by chance and intended to stay 1 day. We ended to stay 3 days since we enjoyed the house and the village. The pool is fantastic. It seems that you are swimming in the Gibraltar straight towards Africa inside a 32 Celsius soup. Even in the windy cold days it is very confortable. The rooms are very nice and with differents decorations. The 1st flor rooms have a more beautiful view but are more windy. The staff is very very nice and helpful. The town was a surprise. Very cosy and full of young life, even in November!! Definitively a place to repeat.

Review 10：The location was fantastic, so close to the centre of the old town but also felt like it was far enough out to be quiet & relaxed. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was really well kitted out, tastefully decorated and the complimentary wine and beer was an added bonus! The facilities were amazing- the roof top pool was lovely (even in the rain) and the sauna a real treat. We didn't get to benefit from the roof top BBQ facilities but they looked fantastic. We only stayed one night as we were meeting friends and staying in an apartment the rest of our stay in Tarifa- we were so sad to leave and would return to La Residencia without hesitation. Fantastic place to stay & highly recommended.

Review 11：Amazing accommodation, everything was perfect : the best location with an incredible view, easy walkable distance from everything. Our kids were welcomed with a big box of toys and us with a big bottle of wine !! We'll definitely come back to La Residencia and will recommend it to everyone

Review 18：Situated in the very south west corner of the old town walls, with a view across the straits to Africa to die for, this old garrison has been lovingly and perfectly recreated as a relaxing, calming, beautiful holiday retreat, with the most amazing infinity pool, decking/sitting area and BBQ on the roof. We stayed on the ground floor for access to the garden, which was perfect for us. The finish on the apartments is just right and the beds very comfortable. I suppose the only small issue is that we had no oven which makes self catering less easy. All apartments have secure off road parking which is vital in Tarifa; a beautiful town, but parking is at an absolute premium! Location is spot on - 2 minutes to the sea front, 4 minutes to all the restaurant/tapas/bar/shop options you could want. The main beach is 10 minutes walk east, but if you head west, in less time you'll reach a much more private beach, used by locals and perfect for children, with rock pools and sandy paddling inlets. We were checked in and out by Hauke (sorry is spelt wrong!) who was friendly and very helpful. Thank you! Oh and finally, if you like cats, you'll like it here, as there are a number of local cats that wander around. Our son, who is 8 and loves cats, made us buy cat food for them, which they were very appreciative of. If you see a ginger without a tail, that is "Mrs Ginger"; say hi from us. :) 100% recommended. We will be coming again.

Review 20：Great rooftop pool and catering facilities really suited us in ur family holiday. Our child could swim while we prepared food and drinks. Personal and friendly staff give us lots of tips for shopping, sightseeing and dining in Tarifa

Review 30：The apartment well equipped. We were a large group in Tarifa to attend a wedding and we had booked several apartments at La Residentia Tarifa for a week. Sebastion and Elke, who managed the place, were extremely helpful about the town and providing us with additional items we needed. Nothing was ever too much trouble for them. The location is amazing. One of the few places to stay within the town walls that has parking. Extremely clean. The rooftop pool and entertaining area is amazing. Would highly recommend the place and certainly stay there again if I went to Tarifa.

Review 35：When we first arrived in Tarifa it was raining and was very windy and this made us a bit disappointed, but after we settled at this nice accommodation everything changed for us. Everything from the start point was about perfection. An allocated car park with remote control.This is and ex- military building and has been renovated to such a beautiful apartment.The location is perfect,with facinating view to both mediterraneansea and Atlantic ocean view.The hotel is exactly located where these twi meet each other.You can also see the morroco in day and night from your balcony.we were in mid April and it is not possible to go to sea to swim or use outdoor pool,but very well heated roof pool changed everything for us.It was difficult to get my kids off the pool.wifi just perfect and strong(not like some hotels that promise but their networks never works) Everything else just first class.Thanks to management team to be so dedicated and profetional. I strongly recommend it to anyone who wishes to stat at Tarifa.

Review 39：Everything. Sebastian was the perfect host and showed us everything right down to the top floor pool and sauna. We had downstairs apt no 3. Don't listen to the naysayers about the limited view. We had breakfast every morning outside in the sunshine with the views of Africa across the water. You're not gonna get many times saying you had brekkie while looking over to Africa. Do the boat trip to Tangier (approx €66) but beware of the locals hassling you the minute you step onto Moroccan soil. We had 22 (young and old). Heaven knows what it's like in summer! Sebastian, Hauke and Kathrin...we WILL be back! :)

Review 51：Well, Tarifa is known for its strong winds. During our stay, the winds were extreme and the pool area was partially closed because too dangerous. Maybe 30 euros/night too expensive, when compared to similar apartments on the Spanish coast, but never mind, we had an excellent time there.

When you like to hear the waves: go for it! Apartment is very large, well equipped, very clean. Owners/Managers are present almost all the time, very friendly and helpful. Walking distance to Tarifa center with restaurants and shops.

The rooftop area is stunning and our room...No 10 The Balcon D'Amor is just stunning. Hauke and Sebastian could not have been more helpful and their recommendations for what to see and do were fantastic. The views are beautiful and the setting, within the old town walls is gorgeous. Cannot praise it highly enough!

Review 60：Sebastian asked us for feedback on departure and we genuinely couldn't point out any improvements that we thought necessary. The only thing I didn't like was that we hadn't stayed longer !

Review 61：We really enjoyed our recent stay at La Residencia. We had one of their 2 bed apartments (2 double rooms + 1 fold out couch for 2 adults and 3 kids) which was spacious, spotlessly clean and had a wonderful view. Towels and robes were provided also. A parking space comes with each apartment and is invaluable as parking is in such short supply in Tarifa. Sebastian met us on arrival and was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The pool/terrace area is wonderful and La Residencia's location is perfect for exploring Tarifa's abundance of great shops, restaurants and bars after a day on the incredible beaches close by. Chilled water, wine and a few cold beers in the fridge added a nice welcoming touch on arrival in the summer heat.
