Review 1：The staff particularly in the restaurant and bar area were not as helpful/happy as the last time we visited

Review 3：Does not feel very Spanish, caters to German tourists, food catered to German tourists, was somewhat impersonal. Staff seemed indifferent. Kind of a weird vibe to the place and service was off. A couple of examples; at breakfast they brought you coffee but you had to go get your own cream. We ordered drinks during happy hour but had to wait about 20 minutes, as they only had one server and then we were told we could not order the specials because Happy Hour was over..but would make an exception this one time. We were in Spain for 1 month and even though this was supposed to be one of the nicest places we were going to be staying in.....was one of our least favourite.

Review 5：Newly-built hotel with excellent well-maintained facilities, in a gorgeous location overlooking La Fontanilla beach, 10-15 minutes' walk from the town center of picturesque (originally a fishing village) Conil de la Frontera. There are two other beaches at walking distance from the hotel, namely: Los Bateles and Castilnovo (you have to cross a pedestrian bridge over the river to get to this quieter stretch of fine sand beach). What truly makes Hipotels Gran Conil stand out above and beyond any hotel I've been to (and I've had the good fortune to stay at 4 and 5-star hotels in several locations around the world), it is - hands down! - the outstanding service you receive here. In my view, the personnel is THE competitive advantage that Hipotels Gran Conil offers. My family and I have been made to feel so welcome, pampered and appreciated; and not in a fake or contrived way but rather as a manifestation of genuine hospitality ! These people feel part of a family, share an authentic sense of camaraderie, have great pride in their profession and endeavor to convey all this in the way they treat their guests. There is a personalized approach to service where every single member of staff takes it upon himself/herself to go the extra mile for your comfort and to ensure that you are enjoying every aspect of your stay.

Review 6：Great location (close to a lovely beach but with its own large pool), friendly staff, about a 10 minute walk into Conil where there are lots of places to eat/ drink (v lively), modern comfortable facilities.

We also particularly enjoyed the Bloody Mary's and Mimosas included in the hotel breakfast. Staff were really friendly & helpful. We will definitely come back.

Review 14：The junior suite had a double jacuzzi and enormous terrace with great views. An extremely comfortable, luxurious room. In addition to the jacuzzi the bathroom had a big wet room. Breakfast was varied and very good quality.

Review 22：Hotel interior is very well designed and located on a dune a stonethrow away from the sea it integrates well with it's natural surroundings without bring overly dominant. Very friendly and helpful staff throughout. Comfortable well-appointed rooms.

Review 23：As microbiologist I recognized first indications for mould formation on the bath tiles (even for me being pretty picky on this it was not really bad). But in case this issue is not handled, it will get worse over time. Anything else perfectly well cleaned! Als Mikrobiologe habe ich die allerersten Ansätze von Schimmelbildung auf den Badfliesen gesehen (selbst mit meinem peniblen Auge noch nicht wirklich schlimm). Wenn hier nichts gemacht wird, wird es sicherlich schlimmer werden. Ansonsten alles top sauber!!!! Etwas weiter Weg von den Fahrstühlen zu meinem Zimmer, aber dafür sehr ruhig, so wie ich es erbeten hatte!

Review 24：45 Euro für ein Doppelzimmer zur Alleinnutzung mit seitlichem Meerblick und Badewanne; sehr sauber (außer kleinem Minuspunkt: allererste Anzeichen Schimmelbildung); inkl. tollem Frühstücksbuffet mit versch. frischen Säften, dunklem Brot, etc., das ich in Spanien während meines 9-tägigen Aufenthaltes sonst nirgends so erlebt habe; liegt am Rande des Ortes und etwas oberhalb des Strandes; Animation, sowie Spa- und Fitnessbereich habe ich nicht genutzt; mein Besuch von Conil von Donnerstag Nacht bis Samstag morgen im April war prima, aber ich habe mir sagen lassen, dass es der Partyort für junge Spanier ist (also hier vielleicht nochmal recherchieren); Conil selbst ein netter u. hübscher Ort

Got upgrade to front view but could not use until sunset as no shade, not an upgrade! Also in full view of bar and restaurant, absolutely no privacy on most of the balconies. Per booking check out is 12 but urged to check out at 10, unheard of early. Beach was beautiful but a long hike from hotel. Coffee was horrible and watered down, could get better at gas stations. Too many smokers including the chain smoker on the next balcony

Chain smoker next door made it impossible. Guess if you areGerman and want everything the same as at home then ok. We are Canadianand wanted a few days at Spanish beach, this is not it. We are now inCadiz and thankfully back in Spain, and they have beaches to boot.
