Review 1：Towel stained with blood Room full of dust Having a breakfast with a waiter that seemed a guardian.. was stressfull.. Especially when there is one that take your meal under control and try to monitoring how many fruits you're gonna eat. Shouting people in the middle of the night..totally drank Wall untotally soundproof!!it seemed like a paper..

Review 2：The extremely varying standard of room cleaning service. Sheets were not changed, towels were not changed even though we put them on the floor, the balcony were only partially cleaned (if floor was cleaned, the table were not, rubbish from former guest still stood on the part on the part of the balcony that never was cleaned during our stay, etc). Breakfast was not worth the money.

Also the fact that the hotel charges you extra money if you want to use the safe in your room . Additionally there is no fridge in the room ,if someone wants a fridge has to pay additionally costs. More likely we are not going to choose again this hotel !

Review 19：Breakfast was very poor. The place is at -1 (underground), so there are not any windows, just walls. Wifi just in lobby, in room was very poor. Rooms with interior courtyard view: you don't have any outdoor lighting/view etc, you see just other rooms, stairs and so on. Don't have car parking, so it's difficult to find a place where to let your car.

Review 21：The breakfast was average, but we lacked the fresh vegetables. The bed was too soft for us and despite of the fact that we are a couple, we stayed in a room with two single beds pushed together, which was a bit uncomfortable. There is no bed-linen, just a bed-sheet to cover your body. It's strange that the you can't sit at the terrace to drink your morning coffee, because it's not allowed to carry anything from the restaurant. However the terrace bar only opens at 10am, when the breakfast is over.

Review 22：The hotel design was great and fresh, at first sight it seems more than a 3 stars. The whole area and the rooms are well-cleaned, if you want, they make up the room every day. The staff is very friendly, open-minded and helpful. The last day before our check-out, our towels and umbrellas have been stolen from the beach. Usually they don't allow taking the room towels to the beach, but in this case, they allowed the carry them. The air condition worked properly. The rooms are not so spacious, but very nice and comfortable. In overall, we really enjoyed our stay in Hotel Don Pepe, probably we will choose it again when going back to El Arenal. Review 23：No pool facilities fridge cooler in the room way to small- only can fit a few cans and small bottles of water as the hotel have filled it with mini bar service. there should be an option to have it empty the noise in the early hours of the night! the walls are paper thin- you hear everything! i was woken up in the middle of the night by party people every night i was there. not a hotel to book if you want a quiets night sleep as the location for party people is perfect! complementary cocktail voucher given to us on arrival- however this had to be used between 4-7 pm and you were unable to pick which drink you wanted! arenal is the German equivalent to magaluf - however we did not see one fight when we were there but the long strip is full of bars, shisha, restaurants, shops for milesss! its extremely busy and loud. hardly any British people are in arenal do not eat at bella italia in arenal (this looks like a nice restaurant)- the food and service was awful!

Review 24：Nacho was very helpful from when we arrived. Nacho recommended restaurants to try and to catch the bus to palma for the day. The bus stop was easy to find and took about 30 minutes to arrive in palma. Palma is beautiful, lots of shops and historic buildings. We wished we had booked to stop in this area! The beach is just a short walk down the hill from the hotel. lots of activities like banana bot, boat trips paragliding etc the train bus which runs from arenal to can pastilla cost 4 .50 - unfortunately we did this on the last day but deffinarlty recommend if you are travelling as couple ,as you reach can pastilla it is alot more calm and the beaches have more couples and families compared to arenal where there are large groups of party people! we had an evening meal at asadito - the service and food was incredible. this is in arenal , cost no more than 10 euros to get a taxi from the hotel here

Hoards of drunken German youths shouting for absolutely no reason at all hours of the night and day. In other words it was more like student accommodation than a hotel

The first day when we arrived, we were greeted by one of their best staff they have; Nacho! he was really nice host, and helped us a lot during our stay in Mallorca, for us was the first time there, so his recommendations made our stay better, the hotel is really close from the airport, only 10-15 min by car, we rent a car for our stay, so if you are planning to rent a car, this is the perfect hotel because of their location, everyone was so kind, and the room was good enough for our stay. There is plenty of pubs, restaurants, and places to go even by walking from the hotel, the beach is only 2 blocks away, and you don't really need to bring anything there because you can find everything you need in Mallorca and El Arenal! I'll definitely recommend this hotel, and specially for the price, location and their staff! Thanks Nacho!! :)

Review 33：- Wi-Fi only works properly in the reception lobby, in the room reception was really bad (we were on the 5th floor).- There was no toilet scrub in the bathroom

Review 37：Rooms aren't very well sound insulated. We were there for two weeks, over that course three couple checked into the room beside us. Two of them like to argue a lot at all hours of the night and use the tv loudly which came through the vents clearly.

Review 41：The cleaning is not exactly 3 star when I came into my room it was notdisinfected, and it was obvious that it wasn'T. I was told it was adouble bed it turns out it's two singles, and there was no glass inthe room or a percolator for tea. They gave me warm water for my tea onoccasions, one person wanted me to pay a euro so I had to say something.Then they ask you to pay 50 cents if you want to print your ticket, andthey don't have shoe shine in the toilet, amongst other things Iusually find in a 3 star.

Review 42：The modern design and the brightness of the space The staff is nice andkind but the rules of the hotel don't make much sense a lot of thetime. It is safe and close to the beach and a direct bus to the airport.

Review 45：Nice, modern and clean hotel in a quieter area. Balcony view from our room was terrible, old destroyed swimming pool and wasteland. The staff was mostly nice, although when drunk and/or high hotel guests (Germans) were coming back from the clubs late at nights (or early in the mornings, depends on how you look at it), they let them make noise. However, when you come back from the beach and are not wearing a T-shirt, that seems to be a big problem. The food was boring, every day the same stuff, no meat at all!!! They need to hire a new cook.

Review 46：the noise in the hotel. The rooms are very poorly isolated, you can hear everything from the hallways. Don't go there to rest, then again, dont go to Arenal to rest. I would not reccomend going to Arenal at all, but if you go don pepe is a good choice.

Review 48：Reception was impolite and non-responsive. WiFi had a very poor quality and most of the time disconnected. Noisy people outside in the hallway after midnight. Water getting stuck in the sink. No fridge in the room (dah, it is summer!) and no ice machine whatsoever in the common places. Nothing special and very expensive. Balcony with a view of old broken houses on the other side of the street. The beach nearby is full of people. Unless you are a German you don't want to stay there. Even most of the restaurant menues are in German/Spanish, no English menu. Not at all for a comforting, stressfree vacation.

Review 49：Standard rooms are pretty dark, with the inner windows, where you can perfectly good see and hear all your neighbors, that is a bit annoying if you want some privacy. The staff was also quite rude, one of the reception guys and housekeeping ladies, who opened the door even when the sign "We do not need cleaning" is on the door!

Review 108：Internet wasn't working sometimes. The area is terrible. Unless you're the typical German young tourist (no offense) looking for parties, avoid El Arenal (the area where the hotel is). The beds were just OK. No parking place.

The fact that we had a quiet room with a balcony where the towels could dry made all the difference. Also the beach is very near, which is great.

We visited local cafes and bars away from beach and would recommend if you want to get a feel for the local Spanish people.

On arrival ourpassports/ID's were taken away for half an hour, but then safelyreturned to us, (personally I found this not great.) tv shows only oneEnglish speaking channel bbc news, the rest are Spanish and Germanchannels. Also we did not had a toilet brush, which was uncomfortable.

Review 121：Hotel is located on the "German" side of the beach. 2 minwalking distance away from the very nice beach! Hotel is very moderninside, no bad smells, friendly and supportive staff, we loved our timespend in there. Conditioners working fine. Taxis were there in 1 min,when called from reception. Free WiFi at the reception area. Staff atthe bar and morning breakfast is fantastically trained and well mannered- we had the highest customer care! Very pleased with that as well.Great cheap prices for a quality hotel. Very happy we stayed there!

Review 122：We have been provided with comfort roon instead of superior which we paid for. Then we needed to ask twice at the reception to find us room that we paid for! Finally have been relocated to a proper room, but towels were not changed for 5 days. Had to request to change them for fresh and clean! Finally got it. Breakast quite poor at the rate of 9 eur/ per person. Better to eat outsdie hotel with better choice and lower prices. Ants in the room and on the balcony. Everything you want in this hotel additionally you must pay for! No kettle, no coffee, tea facilities in the room. Even we had bought superior room with fridge- freezer and safe facilities, they wanted additionally fee charge for that as they say it is available, but you must pay at the place there to get it. It is just very basic hotel, no swimming pool, spa facilities, and in our opinion not value for money. But if you just want to overnight and hike all day long in Mallorca then it's just OK. You can' t take kids to this hotel as they dont have license or something like this, didnt get clear answer from them.
