Reviews for Casa Rural Villa Lola Y Juan
Review 1:A few details (but which didn't make our stay less nice): the cleaning could be better done, the breakfast could vary more from morning to morning
Review 2:Amina and Toni were extremely nice, friendly and helpful. The house is nicely decorated and the garden is very relaxing. The house is situated in a pretty village, far away from the ugly towns built to host the big hotel resorts. The surrounding valleys are beautiful.
Review 3:The only minor thing was that the WiFi was not working well, it was fixed only on the last day of our stay
Review 4:Very charming B&B, decorated with great taste; breakfast is very good; Amina is very welcoming; all peace and quiet; beautiful surroundings
Review 5:Main problem was final path to room door was on volcanic gravel, which was difficult to stop it being carried into the bedroom. No maid service service during stay.
Review 6:Delightful quiet rural location in picturesque setting. Easy access to Lanzarote main road system and easy journey to airport. Very good local restaurant within short walk.
Review 7:None
Review 8:Very nice little casa. Amina, the host, is very welcoming and can advise you very well. The beach nearby in Arrieta is one of the nicest of the island. Haria is a nice village to stay, though there is not much to choice in restaurants. In low season there are only three restaurants open. But the restaurants are good. The garden, rooftopterrace and swimmingpool are very fine.
Review 9:The appartment was exactly as described and shown on the website(booking.com). Very clean too. The place has a big garden with avineyard, cactus plants and all sort of other plants and a swimmingpoolWe got a very warm welcome from the hostess. She spoiled us with great breakfast and gave a lot of information on the island and recommendations on where to eat. Our little daughter (2 years old) loved her too. There is a little supermarket around the corner of the street, very convenient. Also, the top restaurants (according to tripadvisor) were only a few minutes walk away. Ideal when you have children. Location Haria: Great for visiting the north of Lanzarote. Orzola has a perfect (kid friendly) sandy beach with turquoise water. Cycling on La Gracioza (island is a national park) was, although a little bumpy, wonderful. Of course the lava tubes are not to be missed. From Haria we were there in minutes. We have been in Lanzarote for two weeks. One week near Puerto del Carmen (in La Asomada) and one week in Haria. The north is less touristy. The south has more sandy beaches. We liked both :) and can really recommendate this place right near the centre of Haria if you would like to stay in a more rural environment or visit the north.
Review 10:We were disappointed that breakfast was not available (we had had a great breakfast here on our previous stay in 2011).
Review 11:The position, the welcome, the garden, the house, the wifi signal were all great. The bus stop is just yards away.
Review 12:Lovely spacious accommodation in the small town of Haria. There are lots of wonderful walks in the area. Mina, who showed us the room, was charming. We were able to contact her if we had any problems which we did on one occasion and the difficulty was sorted out promptly. The wifi problems encountered by previous guests seem to have been sorted, we had good connection the whole time. The excellent Puerta Verde restaurant nearby now serves breakfast which is delicious and great value at 6 euros.
Review 13:Poor wifi connection Some service in the room would have been appreciated (bed made etc) The booking / deposit process (sending euro transfer) is slow inconvenient
Review 14:Location was quiet and beautiful views Spacious room and bathroom The village is very nice but bear in mind on bank holidays there is nothing at all open
Review 15:We were there in winter, the room was very Cold, we have a room near the street with noise
Review 16:We really love the girl of the reception very cozy and the pool is nice but was Cold so we don not sue it
Review 17:The rain! But our host left an umbrella outside the door for us to use. No wineglasses! But that was quickly remedied.
Review 18:Quirky apartment set in beautiful garden hidden behind the main house. The pool was lovely. It was good to stay in a small town so that we had excellent restaurants and stunning walks from our front door. The coast was reachable within 5 minutes by car.
Review 19:Minor annoyance: the appartment would get quite warm (didn't really bother us though).
Review 20:* located in the lovely, small village Haria which has ample restaurants and some small food shops * the host, Amina, is always helpful and very cheerful! (some older reviewers complain about no one being around; Amina just recently started her work) * great little pool and garden to relax * sweet resident cat (if you like cats)
Review 21:The central location in Haria which is a very nice oasis idel for exploring the North. Nice little pool.Nice atmosphere.
Review 22:The decoration, the atmosphere and the staff (Amina was great and made our stay wonderful)
Review 23:Nothing
Review 24:Tastefully decorated, beautiful garden, spacious room
Review 25:The house the garden the room the breakfast all
Review 26:No-one was there to greet us although we arrived at the stated time.Sunbeds were very uncomfortable.
Review 27:Attractive traditional Lanzarote rural house - owner was happy to showus around some of the other rooms when we left.Wonderful restaurant just a few steps away from the Casa - Restaurant La Puerta Verde. Well worth a visit.
Review 28:We had to wait for the owner to arrive to meet us. Apparently she had informed booking.com that guests MUST phone and leave a message PRIOR to their arrival - to inform them of their ETA. This is not stated on the website - only to inform them if you arrive out of the hours of 10am - 2pm. This needs to be made clear on Booking.com. I had to phone booking.com from Lanzarote to eventually get someone to meet us!
Review 29:The location is excellent - very rural. You hear cats, dogs, chickens in the early hours of the morning. Haria is lovely, mainly consisting of one main avenue, just down the road, with a couple of cafes/bars. Nice for an overnight visit...great restaurant Meson La Frontera is just up the road.
Review 31:We stayed at one of the rooms in the house (they also have appartments at this location and at sea). The house looks lovely and is located in the centre of the beautiful little village Haria. Good bed, nice spacious bedroom and bathroom. There even was a small room with rockingchairs! Perfect kept garden and swimmingpool. Bbq area with fridge and dining table. German & spanish television, and a very fast and stable Wifi connection . When booking you have to indicate your arrivel time, wich we did and we were welcomed by Manuel when we arrived. We had a great time!
Review 32:Management disinterested. The only contact with the owner was hertelephone request to pay immediately. No word of welcome or thanks. Thiswas more than a language issue.
Review 33:Charming room and well appointed bathroom apart from an absence ofclothes hanging facilities and a kettle.
Review 34:Before you arrive, you should call in advance because usually there isno one in the house to hand you over the keys. Otherwise you mighthave to wait.
Review 35:We are a family of 5 and we had a duplex appt. This is a great placewhere you feel at home immediately (paintings done by the family, home-style furniture and not hotel-style etc). It is well furnished, verycomfortable (beds, armchairs, sofa) and has all the necessary kitchenaccessories (including toaster, coffee machine, etc.) and bathroomtowels etc. It has the first necessary things like soap and dish-washingliquid that is usually absent from apparthotels. Hotel is nicelysituated in one of the loveliest villages of Lanzarote and it is quiet.Garden is lovely. Cat is great for kids.
Review 36:no staff on duty at night
Review 37:helpful staff
Review 38:Haria is a very nice town and the Casa is very central. Nice garden! Relax!
Review 39:We had to check out at 9am
Review 40:Beautiful, peaceful location
