Review 1：Great location! Within walking distance to Minimundus, Reptile Zoo, Planetarium, Worthersee lake. 10 minutes by car to the city centre. Free parking, friendly staff.

Review 2：The room was kind of dated and definitely not 4**** level and the bed was really uncomfortable, much too hard, so I had back problems for two days during my stay.

Review 9：Great Hotel in Klagenfurt, I actually used the hotel as a stopover on a long drive so knew nothing about it in advance. That said I found the hotel to be first class. It's actually in a really beautiful location next to some fairly large lake. Plenty of parking in and around the back of the hotel. Girl on reception will hopefully be my wife one day (after my divorce comes through of course). So helpful and charming and the best cheese toasties I've ever had. Had my dog with me too who was treated like a princess. Very clean, spacious and top quality fitted rooms. Nice bar area too for a good spot of relaxation. Stay Here, you'll love it.

Review 10：It's close to the noisy road and train. Room is small and outdated. No aircon or fan. WIFI is terribly weak. It's far from the four stars.

Review 12：It´s definitely not a 4 stars hotel, the room had some damaged, the bathroom had cables coming out of the wall. At first they wanted to give us a room in the back part of the hotel (kind of like an appartment that I didn´t request) with the railway and the highway 20 meters away abd from the room you could hear cars and trains passing by; the explanation was that "it was their last room" but we had booked this room weeks ago. How could that be possible? Overprice, not a 4 stars hotel, far away from the city, with no place to have dinner in the surroundings. Not recommended at all!!!!

Review 14：The smallest room ever right next to railway and highway! Not possible to sleep there. This type and location of the room shouldnt be offered by any hotel!! For sure not by 4* hotel. Very old ugly furniture and bathroom. Even no side bed lights. No space for your lugagges. When I peeked into another opened rooms to compare, I havent seen any type of room, you can find on web site.

Review 15：I thought the room was a little warm when we arrived. Leaving the window open solved that minor discomfort. (I normally sleep with the window open in all but the coldest of Scottish winter nights,my wife prefers a warmer room. So the room temperature is probably perfect for the vast majority (;-)

Review 16：Hotel is very clean,we liked the breakfast,all to our liking. We could eat as much as we wanted had that been the case! Good facilities with en-suite shower & toilet. Recommended highly,and a nice location beside the lake. Not every visit to Austria needs to see Vienna,we preferred smaller towns & villages with nice scenery & Plattenwirt excells

Review 17：We booked a room to stay only for one night. We didnt get a regular hotel room... They gave us a weird back-entrance staff appartment. It was dirty: the walls had big black scratches on it... One door to another room was sealed with ductape so you cannot open it... There was dust all over the place... And some dead spiders as well.... The wifi was not working that far away from the mainpart of the hotel. When you offer cheap Deals you should not stay that far behind your regular rooms. Of course when I go for a deal I do not expect the best rooms of the house but at least a decent clean room... Not a mess of an staff apartment!

The walls are thin, you hear everything from your neighbours. 60's enterieur, broken floor in bathroom, no cover for toilet. Far from expectations, and very far from 4 star standards (I visit 15-20/ year) Cheap hostel quality. Saw only one room, others can be better

Review 24：Despite multiplecomolaints over several days from other clients the staff refused to heat the rooms either via central heating or provision of a portable heater. An extra blanket was supplied and on complaint again on check out we were told we could have taken a hot bath to cure the problem and added insult to injury by offering two tiny chocolatrs ss compenstion!,, this is NOT the management style of a 4 star hotel. Disgraceful!!!! Also only German channels on TV.

Review 27：It's set just on the edge of the lake; a very scenic location away from the town. Except for the railway line nearby, very quiet. Has a good bar which serves snacks. Plenty of car parking. The girl on reception was brilliant. She covered reception, served in the bar and prepared the food; all with enthusiasm.

At the entrance, guests were allowed to smoke, which meant that every time we went back to our hotel room, we had to go through all the cigerette smoke, which was quite unpleasant and by no means befitting a four-star hotel. The could easily put up a glass partition in the entrance space and the smokers could enjoy their cigarettes behind the glass, thus leaving the way to the stairway inside the building smoke free. The smoke was very off-putting!

Great breakfast, lots of fruit,and cooked eggs to order. Relaxed atmosphere, would have been great forheading across to the lake, and wish we had additional days there. I wasin a coaches room, bit cheaper, while kids and wife were in largersuites with plenty of room and large bathrooms. Overall a very positivedexperience

Review 75：Beautiful hotel set within a beautiful location right next to the Woerthersee lake. Staff very friendly and extremely helpful. Hotel immaculately clean. Regular bus departures to the town centre and location of bus halt/departure is an extremely short distance from the hotel's entrance. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to others. Everything was perfect.
