Reviews for Hotel Liñares
Review 1:Apart from the rain (no fault of the hotel) ! Nothing at all.
Review 2:Really nice room with balcony. Huge bed. Good wifi. Best eggs we have ever tasted. Very friendly owner. Good bus service into town.
Review 3:We went along to a nearby restaurant and when we left it was pouring with rain and one of the hotel staff was waiting outside to pick us up fantastic service. Also they all were very kind to our grandchildren who visited us. Very nice swimming pool.
Review 4:Nothing
Review 5:large airy comfortable rooms Spotlessly clean Gorgeous pool area Friendly staff Breakfast - we were offered a cooked breakfast Great location for families - pool and easy access to beaches
Review 6:There was no airconditioning in our room, which could potentially be a problem when it's 30+ degrees outside. During our stay it was 24 degrees and the room was not too hot.
Review 7:Great breakfast, nice hosts, great views of the surroundings, a perfect pool, decent sized rooms, quiet surroundings (slept like a log for 4 nights in a row), perfect for day trips in the surrounding area (Pontevedra, Santiago, Cies Islands, Combarro, O Grove, etc.)
Review 8:Superb room with lovely view. Excellent breakfasts- double egg and bacon, if wanted. Best swimming pool of holiday. Rural location 3km from pontevedra.good station in pontevedra.we used it to go to santiago de compostela. Staff were very helpful and patient with our lack of Spanish.
Review 9:* To get to the hotel, you have to drive uphill on narrow, twisting roads sometimes not wide enough for two vehicles. * I had a view of the rear parking area from my room (but a better view from the bathroom window!) * There should be a hot water machine for guests, I had to always ask for hot water for tea in the evenings. * While I was away, the hotel staff threw away a large plastic bag of mine with some food, tea bags, plastic cutlery - they thought it was trash, didn't even check! * You better speak some Spanish if you want to stay here - a common problem throughout Spain. (Fortunately I know some Spanish.) * On my last morning, just after breakfast, the hotel owner criticized me for making a sandwich out of some ham & cheese to take away with me! He said "this is not a primitive country"! Each morning I was the only person having breakfast, the hotel had few guests. What was the problem if I made a sandwich when there was plenty of food available? I was surprised to hear this criticism at the end of my 3-night stay, just before I was going to check out. Not good customer relations, especially with a foreign guest!
Review 10:*This is a high-quality small hotel in a pleasant, semi-rural setting on a hill not far from the sea. * If you have a car, you can easily get to Pontevedra or to various beaches and seaside towns, like Sanxenxo. * My room was really nice, the breakfast (included in the very reasonable room price) was good. * Free parking on-site. * Nice outdoor swimming pool for guests.

Review 16:Would have been nice if we could have used the pool.
Review 17:Great room, cleaned every day, good food, super nice staff, good value.
Review 18:Difficult to find the hotel.
Review 19:Excellent breakfast!
Review 20:The owners were very helpful and friendly. We were there for a race and although breakfast was normally 9-11am they got up and made us breakfast at 6am on race day. Very welcoming.
Review 21:The only minor quibble which didn't really present a problem (and shows how much we expect of others) was the lack of English-speaking of any staff. However, our own inadequacies were highlighted by a Dutch couple who spoke English and Spanish fluently.
Review 22:Very friendly staff, cleanliness was superb, the pool and facilities were excellent.
Review 23:Location extremely difficult to locate. Being the only guest, restraunt was not open and hardly any other facilities nearby.
Review 24:Helpful and understanding staff.
