Review 1：My room was not spacious and the bathroom was rather small, the lighting was economic.

Review 2：It is originally an ancient 1890 building, reflecting the Catalan enthusiasm for exotic, fortunately it was modernised with new wings, a large restaurant and 2 swimming pools, one 2 m deep and one for kids in a nice garden with generous deck chairs.

Review 4：Just spent three nights in hostal del sol And cant Wait to go backz we got a lovely room over looking the pool. The room is básic but you have everything you need: flat tv, nice bed, desk 10 min to sant feliu promanade And another 10 min to sant pols beach which is beautiful. THe breakfast is very good And with plenty of choice. The pool área is lovely as well where you can relax. Would recommend to anybody. Great valué for money

Review 5：We were allocated a good and fairly spacious bedroom but some of the other bedrooms looked rather small. The rooms and bathrooms are in urgent need of modernising and upgrading.

Review 6：Very friendly staff in this family run hotel. Very clean with adequate facilities. Well maintained garden with excellent swimming pool and sitting out area. Short walk down the main road to the seafront.

Review 7：the hotel is located on a busy and not very nice road, approximately 1km from the town and 1.5km from the beach. It is steeply uphill on the way back. There are no cafes/restaurants in the immediate vicinity and the hotel does not offer a dining option

If you intend to escape from the masses. Overall OK for a hostel but I won't be coming back.

Review 55：I loved the fairy-tale appearance of this hotel, & was treated to a magical 7 day stay, It's location, situated in easy walking distance between 2 lovely beaches, Its wonderful, courteous, helpful owners & staff, made this a real luxury holiday. Our room, with balcony overlooking gorgeous garden & pool, was superb, Great variety of food for breakfast,served in stylish dining room, or sunny veranda, My wife & I found it very restful & peaceful & would love to stay there again whenever we visit lovely San Feliu again.

Review 57：Beautiful unique house, our family room was very comfortable, two sections both opening onto a huge balcony, but I think it was the only one like it... A few others have balconies but none as big. The breakfast was very good. The pools were nice, one of them was a small shallow children's pool (cold in April, of course, but our kids went in anyway).

Excellent central location in the Costa Brava, easy to reach by car from Barcelona Airport. Staff is very friendly and competent. Speak perfect English, German and French. Impressive breakfast with a full selection of everything you can think of to include and English cooked breakfast, lovely breads, and a large variety of fruits, juices, cereals and yoghurts. We are keen walkers and staff were better than the Tourist office in giving advice on walks along the cost (beautiful well maintained parts of Camina Ronda within walking distance), visit to nice villages, best local resaurants, small quiet beaches again within walking distance. Easy to reach from Barcelona airport. We for sure will go back in for a short break in this beautiful costal area in the Fall and/or Spring next year.
