Reviews for Pensión Txiki Polit
Review 1:The shower was broken and the toilet seat wouldn't stay up. We came here in late September and there were very few places open to get a meal. We ended up having a kebab in a take away as our evening meal which wasn't quite what we'd imagined.
Review 2:The location is excellent - in a quiet square in the middle of town close to the sea. Breakfast was good and the room spacious.
Review 3:Horrible beds, matrasses dating back to the time Philip the Second still ruled Spain.. Also bathroom in poor state. Not a bad deal if asked half the price they charge. Paid 90 euros a night for this; way overpriced.
Review 4:Location was good, breakfast okay.
Review 5:Wi-Fi not working. TV not configured.
Review 6:Centrico.
Review 7:Great location, cozy place and nice bar
Review 8:A cracking hotel in a great town. Ask for a room at the back if you like undisputed sleep
Review 9:Nothing
Review 10:Just minutes from the beach,
Review 11:No english by one receptionist
Review 12:Quiet normal place to stay. Nothing special but nothing bad
Review 13:Plastic under sheet
Review 14:Very good restaurant. Great pintxos
Review 15:Our third visit to the hotel. It's very good value, very clean and in a good position only metres from the sea and the shops and restaurants.
Review 16:Paperthin walls, could hear all conversations from neighbouring rooms
Review 17:Location
Review 18:Quite old in many aspects
Review 19:Location. In the middle of the old town and sorrounded by many of tapas bar!
Review 20:Everything was great....excellent first night stopover in Spain and great value.
Review 21:Location is great, right in plaza. Bar right downstairs. Wifi worked really well. Parking 5 mins away in public underground Carpark.
Review 22:We were told breakfast was at 7:30 when actually it was at 8. As we were walking we were not able to wait and have breakfast before left. Breakfast was included in the tariff.
Review 23:The staff were very friendly and dried our clothes free of charge. As we were pilgrims this was greatly appreciated.
Review 24:The noisiest hotel I have ever stayed, noisy tavern on the ground flooruntil late at night, open stairs from which you can hear all the noisesof reception, maids noisy, non-existent walls of the rooms, you can hearthe neighbor taking a shower, parking not available and the public havevery high costs.
Review 25:Price
Review 26:It's location is excellent. It is overhead a very nice tapas bar full of locals. Two minutes from the sea. It is very keenly priced.A lovely breakfast bar.
Review 27:totally worn out mattress, bad wifi connection even in the first floor, bathroom should be renovated, rooms facing the street are very noisy
Review 28:very near to the beach, friendly staff!!!
Review 29:I was happy with single use of a double room, but suspect it would have been a bit cramped for 2 people.
Review 30:Excellent location on a small pedestrian square less than 10 minutes walk from station, 2 minutes walk from beach and in the western end of the town centre, less than 5 minutes walk to the covered market, supermarket, bars, restaurants, etc. Pleasant, comfortable room - everything worked; good value for the rate charged.
Review 31:It was rated as having a Parking, which is a lie. They only have anagreement with a commercial car park 3 streets away, which costs 10 europer day. This hotel is not for people with cars. The whole pedestrianarea was physically blocked off to all cars even at 11:30 at night. Ittook us ages to drag all our luggage at night without even knowing wherewe were heading (I had counted on using my car gps)
Review 32:The hotel is fairly cheap and nicely located on a scenic pedestriansquare in the old city center
Review 33:The staff, the rooms and their easy way of meeting all requests. I have stayed at this hotel for years.
Review 34:Very small bathroom, Not very clean, No facilities (like hair dryer,...)
Review 35:expensive and difficult public parking.
Review 36:Second time of staying, good value.
Review 37:The restaurant
Review 38:Wi-fi did not work, linen not fully clean
Review 39:Central position, and close to beach.
