Review 1：It would have been value for money if we had got a balcony as I thought when I booked.
Review 2：The staff, friendliness, helpful and they only spoke Spanish which was great for us because it made us at least try their language.
Review 3：Unfortunately all the good was slightly overshadowed by 2 bad things! On the upper communal roof terrace there was a dead Pigeon in clear view to all and it was there when we arrived and was still there when we left! Poor! The communal lounge smelt absolutely disgusting. Truely as if someone was decomposing in there. We didn't go in- this was clearly evident as we walked by.... It could have been a drainage problem but I don't know... As we booked last minute and were only staying 2 nights, we kind of found it amusing more than anything else. Maybe if we'd booked well in advance and it was our main holiday then we might have been more put out......
Review 4：It was a last minute booking as we were hoping to stay in Mojacar or near the beach. In August all of Spain are on holiday, so finding somewhere did prove to be difficult. So we were thrilled to get a room for 2 nights at late notice. The hotel is in Vera, which is a small town about 9km from the coast. By car the distance was nothing and very easy. The hotel was overwhelmingly Spanish, which was very much to our liking. It was simple, tasteful and convenient. Nothing brash or shouty about it.
Review 5：Room smelt musty Short beds A/C didn't work properly, room was hot with it on Beds either squeaked or the headboard was loose and banged against the walls that were paper thin. Could hear next door put their light on.
