Reviews for Galicia Palace
Review 1:Room was too hot and was unable to cool it down even with window open. Couldn't leave open all night as noisy.
Review 2:Very good, clean hotel and excellent bedroom and bathroom.
Review 3:Very friendly staff. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The hotel was reasonably priced and centrally located. I would highly recommend this hotel!
Review 4:Signs of cost-cutting in the breakfast room
Review 5:Excellent room - huge, super bed; signs of faded glory, especially in the restaurant, but the service was brilliantly friendly
Review 6:Bed was quite hard. Restaurant did not open till 9pm. Hotel was not as close to the old part of the city as we had been led to believe.
Review 7:The hotel was very good value for money, and quite easy to find. Quite a pleasant spot to stay. All the staff were really friendly and helpful, especially in the café, where there was also a limited meal menu (which made up for the restaurant being closed).
Review 8:Breakfast starts at 7:30!!!! Earlier they can offer you only a cup of tea/coffee, so you have to stay hungry if you have to leave the hotel before 7:30.
Review 9:Staff is ready to help you but only within their responsibility. They won't do anything extra to you regardless how much you need it.
Review 10:Inability to stay longer!
Review 11:We have been visiting this hotel for many years and it never disappoints. This is in large measure because of the splendid staff who are efficient, competent and amiable.
Review 12:The soundproof of the room wasn't good enough. Too much time for check in although I was the only one to check in.
Review 13:Location Cleaninles Comfort
Review 14:The room was a bit hot, even with the heat off.
Review 15:The room service was excellent.

Review 22:We have been visiting this hotel for 18 years. Staff are exceptional.
Review 23:Poor restaurant offer, especially as there is not much local competition. The nearby Hong Kong Chinese is a good one of its kind though.
Review 24:Comfortable.
Review 25:Quiet location just outside the old town. Walking distance from the train station.

Review 41:Very traditional & comfortable decor & furniture. Good sized rooms.
Review 42:Staff let us check in early to an available twin room rather than the double we had booked - much appreciated as it saved us 3 hours waiting about in the hot weather!
Review 43:In our opinion the best hotel in Galicia thanks to charming, helpful and good humoured staff, location and good restaurant options. Been visiting for 15 years and will continue.
Review 44:not cosy enough for a palace, everything is old difficulty to find a place to park in the street (extra fees for parking) the quality of the bed, the room was too cold
Review 45:Having a break after a long daywork, the breakfast
Review 46:This hotel is stuck in 1975 and someone should really try and drag it out of that era. I have never stayed in such a noisy hotel, the walls are so thin that at one point my neighbours on both sides, above and below were all using the bathroom at the same time. The simultatious quadraphonic urinating just prooved to highlight what a poor hotel this is. Loud televisions, loud conversations, outdated furniture, uncomfortable beds. I really can't think of anything good to say about my experience at this hotel.
Review 47:The location
Review 48:It was hard to park close to hotel in order to check in, and to find parking in area in general
Review 49:Not too fancy, but everything was fine with hotel. Option to make international calls from room at reasonable rates.
Review 50:If all hotels operated in the same fashion with the same quality of staff, travelling would be even more of a pleasure. Stayed more than 20 times and will return!
Review 51:The water temperature varied from hot to cold and this made showers very uncomfortable. One of the ladies at the front desk was not very nice. Little parking place.
Review 52:The personnel was very nice, specially in bar and the dinning room.
Review 53:The breakfast was the same every day. There was no variety compared with other hotels that we have stayed at in other citys in Galicia. A safe in the room would have been very handy.
Review 54:The room that we were allocated was fairly big and comfortable. The staff were frendly and helpful.
Review 55:Big room, very clean and tidy; nice design, luxury feeling with reasonable price; the staff is very helpful, when i stay the reception Anna give excellent support and help, nice time would stay there again....supereb feeling
Review 56:Room was big, bed very comfortable. Bathroom was well equipped and also large; facilities excellent
Review 57:Nothing.
Review 58:Quiet room, central location, nice big bathroom.
Review 59:After almost 20 years of staying here it continues to maintain a very high standard.
Review 60:Personal excelente.
