Review 2：lovely staff .. Beautiful setting .. Stunning views from rooms overlooking the sea .. I was there five nights but got the other side of the corridor looking out onto a side street .. Very disappointing as I knew what I was missing .. unfortunately didn't think to ask for a change ..

Review 4：We stayed at hotel Eden roc for a week, it was just what we needed. A very relaxing week. We really enjoyed using the indoor pool and the food was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We will defiantly return, hopefully in 2016.

Review 5：The smell in the room was horrible. The hotel has a lot of potential but it definitely needs a refurbishment. Our nice was ok because we tried to enjoy the positive things but I don't think we would go back.

Review 9：Intially we were allocated rooms away from the hotel, which were pretty dreadful. Went to complain and were moved into the main part of the hotel after two days (rooms much better). Had booked a 'superior room' seven months in advance, so was not overly impressed with two nights in sub-standard accomodation.

Review 15：It was a bit disappointing to see that a big bubble bath next to the indoor swimming pool was not operational. As well as a small pool in the outdoors which was empty as well. The bar in the swimming pool wasn't operational either. The waiters were not very professional. The hotel itself is well taken care of but it shows it's quite old.

Review 16：Enric, from reception, was extremely friendly and helpful. The location is great, the gardens and many different corners where you can sit and relax are very beautiful. The views are amazing. I also liked the bubble bath in the room.

Review 23：We booked half board and it was fairly good value for money. We had a superior room with a bubble bath which had good views but was a little tired. The pool area needs some renovation and was very busy but was expected as it was late July. The food was great - lots of choice but you have to pay for wine.

Review 44：Great location. Was off season so it was hard to tell what the facility would be like in the warmer weather. The pools were drained and the grounds were hopefully undergoing repairs because there were piles of debris and some trash around that I assume is cleaned and spruced up.

Jacuzzi in the washroom did not work (until you keep holding the switch on button). Dining room a bit small for the number of guests, gets a bit crowdy at night. Waiters were not very friendly.

We would liked to enjoy the last evening in Spain with one bottle Cava, but this was not possible. All the hotels restaurants were closed when we arrived back to the hotel. The staff said that even water is not allowed. Otherwise you don´t get even coffee anywhrere, even daytime. Perhaps from the pool bar, but it is far away from the reception. There was only one automatic and even that wasn´t at the reception -we found it by accident. 4-star hotel, really .. ?? There were rule, that if you do not get a receipt from the pool bar, is not permitted to pay. I can guess why, but is it really customers job to watch the staff? I dont´t think so, that´s supervisor job. I was on holiday. We ordered shuttle to airport and paid for that 55€. It was an ordinary taxi and without order it would have paid 51,70€. Yes, 3 euros, but still... No, no, no and no. Not even 3 stars. *

Review 51：We were disappointed in the lack of staffing in the bar areas. The one member of staff on duty was hard pressed to serve the large numbers of clients. It was difficult to get served and the wait for a drink was lengthy.

Review 57：The rooms could use a refurbishment. They have a very 80s look!! The breakfast buffet has a million things, but of very poor quality. Cereal were chewy, eggs and bacon not good either. They should reduce the variety and focus on the quality. Overall a bit pricy for what it is. It’s has 4 star facilities, but 3 star class! External parking can be a bit tricky at times. I would recommend it but at a more reasonable price to EUR125 per night. I think EUR80 is a fair price.

Review 58：The hotel is well located, probably in the most beautiful part of the little town and relatively close to the highway in case you want to travel to surrounding areas and explore Costa Brava. The staff are very welcoming and extremely helpful. The external areas are pretty good, with 2 (not too big though!!) pools and a nice area to have drinks at night with great sea view. Comfortable and big rooms with A/C.

Review 117：The environment of this hotel is amazing, it's located along the Costa Brava in a idyllic cove and the view from the swimming pool (which is by the way superb) was very calming and perfect for a short stay. The staff was very nice and helpful and the rooms impeccables.

Review 128：Reception was under staffed when we arrived, receptionist seemed to geta little upset when she was asked where I can park my car, there was somany areas that was not in use, one was the inside bar, swimup bar onpool, hottubs, chairs were left broken, generally not very clean inparts, day spa was boarded up, the indoor directions to the restaurantwas down a very dirty and smelly corridor, although once in therestaurant the food was ok.

Review 130：The hotel is definitely NOT 4 star - the external areas are not maintained - the 'outside BBQ' area is a health hazard and would not pass UK health and safety regulations. The toddler pool has no water in it and poses a possible threat to the guests if they were to fall into it, the jacuzzi was disgusting - cannot have been used in years. Although we had paid 400 euros for 2 rooms for 1 night the staff were completely disinterested in the fact that there were no lights working on our corridor that had open steps to fall over on the way to our rooms or that we had no hot water for a shower in the morning ! My advice is to book elsewhere - it is the worst experience I have had regarding unconcern for the welfare and satisfaction of guests. Overpriced - over rated - staff have no loyatly or concern for the wellbeing of the guests - stay away !!!

Review 131：We were fortunate enough to have 2 suites which were very spacious - unfortunately the price of the 2 suites were completely out of proportion with the price and general cleanliness of the communal areas.

Review 132：The charging for Wifi was a real disappointment as I would've expected a hotel of this calibre to provide free Wifi for it's guests.... If McDonalds do it why can't they? Some of the staff were not helpful when it came to mistakes made. We asked for a room with a double bed and were given one with two singles. When we told the reception staff they told us it was our mistake and they couldn't do anything about it. They were so unhelpful in trying to see if another room would become available later in the week that we eventually just gave up and pushed the two beds together (a suggestion made by them but with no offer to help us achieve this task). As the week progressed we witnessed numerous people at reception unhappy about their room allocation... Similarly the staff were unhelpful when there was a power cut on one of the floors. They couldn't tell us what was happening and again insinuated that it was something we had done in the room. They gave no indication of when the problem would be fixed and again proved to be quite unhelpful. Finally, the restaurant staff were very rude when we asked if we could come to breakfast 10mins early as our transport to the airport was arriving at 8am (when breakfast began). They eventually allowed us to eat something but not without much convincing and the constant glare of them as we ate - hardly the behaviour you would expect from a 4star hotel... The staff did very little to make our stay more comfortable and if anything made it more stressful. My advice to couples or families travelling to this hotel would be: You will have a lovely time once you don't require anything or any help from the staff whilst you stay there. If you require the help of a member of staff be prepared to fight for what you want.

Review 133：The location and layout of the hotel were great. The hotel was only a 10 min walk from the town so close enough to walk down to every day for lunch and/or dinner if you wanted; but far enough away that the hotel was in a peaceful location away from the town. The layout and facilities were great with 2 outdoor pools (one fresh water, one salt water) an indoor pool, and also the small beach and access to the sea.
