Review 6:Very helpful reception, beautiful old hotel with lovely balconies, excellent location for a short walk into town where there is a good selection of restaurants and bars.
Review 7:Booking . Com advertised this hotel as having a swimming pool. It did not and had never had one. This is misrepresentation and I ask Booking .com to compensate me. I would not have booked it had I known there was no pool. It was a good hotel otherwise

Review 19:Some of these points may have been due to the fact that Luchon suffered severe flooding a couple of days before we arrived. The hotel management seemed to be unaware that we had booked a twin room (self and sister) so we may not have had the room originally planned for us. It was on the ground floor with views to buildings the other side of a narrow alley and out to the back. It was not much like the rooms shown in the hotel photos. However the windows were large and so the room was light. The breakfast was very disappointing. We don't mind the continental style meal but the presentation was poor. Served in the basement. Tables covered with oilcloth and food served on a tray (not always with a paper tray cloth). They expected two of us to eat from one tray and we had to ask for a second one. Butter and jam were not generous - no choice of jam, just one little pot each. Service stopped at 8.30 and chairs were put on tables, so Roy, who had until 9 o'clock, was lucky! There was a nice-looking restaurant upstairs (as shown in the hotel photos) where main meals were served (we did not have these) and breakfast might have been a more pleasant occasion if served there.
Review 20:The location was good. Only a short walk to the main street. Beds were comfortable and there were two comfortable armchairs in the room. It was quiet.
