Reviews for Hotel Virgen del Camino Pontevedra

Review 1:No complaints

Review 2:We had a lovely stay at this hotel. Staff were really helpful to the extent I left my earphones there. They located them and emailed me, putting them aside for collection on our return journey.

Review 3:The room that is quite old, had only a small window open on a tiiiny inner courtyard with no light and no air. Basically I had a wall out of my window. The staff was very busy with other customers and they stopped giving information to them every 5 sec. while doing my check in. Not pleasant.

Review 4:Location very good, a few step from center. The price was good.

Review 5:Paid 10 euros for parking but probably worth it to ensure the car's safety.

Review 6:Helpful friendly staff. Clean comfortable rooms. Very close to old section of the city.

Review 7:Pelos y mancha en la sabana...hairs and bird poop stains on the sheet. The receptionist was rude ( first she kept us waiting while she chatted on the phone, then she sent us to wander round whilst she did my passport, then she made us pay up front!). The owner tried to say it was a mistake but really it was deplorable. Maybe this was 3* in the '80's but now I would rate it as a hostal. All public areas were dirty, there was even a large iron burn on the carpet in our room. I've never experienced anything like it in Spain.

Review 8:Cama grande pero...big bed but...

Review 9:Small bathroom

Review 10:Great location being on the Camino. Plenty of shops, a much needed laundromat and a variety of restaurants for a pleasant evening meal.

Review 11:It would have been nice if they offered a double bed instead of two separate beds. It is just that I am not used to sleep with my wife in different beds ;-). Next time guys offer it or at least say that you do not have any!

Review 12:Very close to the city center

Review 13:Good budget hotel

Review 14:I wouldn't pay for the continental breakfast.

Review 15:The hotel was in a very good location. The bed was very comfortable!

Review 22:Staff and dinner

Review 23:Perfect location, quiet, basic but very comfy room, balcony a definite plus, as well as toiletries! :) would definitely recommend staying there.

Review 24:Noisy surroundings

Review 25:Good location

Review 26:Location.

Review 27:Very friendly and helpful. They even allowed us to dry our wet clothes in their boiler room.

Review 28:Helpfull and friendly staff, but did hardly speak English

Review 29:the suddenness with which the lift started and stopped!

Review 30:access to the bar/restaurant and the the quality meals and tapas available there.

Review 31:Very difficult to locate by car. Lots of one way streets.

Review 32:Very friendly staff

Review 33:Reception very helpful This hotel is spotlessly clean

Review 34:This hotel was a big disappointment. The receptionist did not speak a word of English and was not eager to be supportive. This hotel has no charm at all. Wlan did not work

Review 35:The washbasin in the bathroom had a crack which might need to be repaired.

Review 36:Very clean, good location between bus and train stations and old part of the town. Air conditioning worked. The hotel had wifi and a lift.

Review 37:Directly on Camino de Santiago de Compostela close to start of route thru historical center. Nice staff. Grocery store next door.

Review 38:The room view was ugly
