Review 1：Rooms are small but comfortable and clean with en suite . Central courtyard full of old furniture and bird droppings. No offer of breakfast but very good restaurant attatched to the hotel next door and think you would be better staying there.
Review 2：The house is beautiful, the rooms spacious and the town itself is very special being famous for the yearly Romeria of El Rocio; it is so close to the National park which is certainly worth a visit; birds abound whilst there's water in the lakes, from March/April until mid June, normally. We had breakfast in the cafe opposite under the shade of an ancient wild olive tree. Our Host, Gerardo, was amazing and made us feel very welcome and at ease and is a fountain of knowledge. It was a great visit though as always too short!
Review 3：We arrived at 2:30 pm to find this hotel closed up. The person responsible for managing the hotel was at the beach. We called and was advised to go to lunch as the responsible person would be back at 5 pm. It didn't matter that on that particular day it was 38 degrees celsius. We were told our reservation had been lost! The room we had requested was not prepared so the responsible person did the cleaning himself. He missed cleaning thoroughly however as we found the last occupant's underwear on the floor in the room. The room had been sprayed with an air freshener which took hours for the smell to disappear.It was likely to mask smoke from a prior user. The hotel was unable to offer breakfast or even coffee. A few other points to note. The manager did not speak english although we were told they did so at the hotel. The hotel is not being well looked after and is in need of a good cleaning. We found the booking.com rating very misleading!
