Review 1：Down a cul de sac, narrow roads. Took two days to find the hotel every day.

Review 2：The staff were all friendly and helpful. The evening meal (half board) was very good.

Review 3：A little tiny bit tired - could probably do with modernising a little bit but not uncomfortable. No nice little extras like hairdryer, nice toiletries etc. No tea/coffee/water in the rooms which are basic but clean.

Review 5：If I have to be picky, then it was that we had a room with a sea view, which would normally be lovely, but the sea was quite noisy as it crashed into the rocky cove rather than being the quiet swish and roll of waves on a beach, we could not sleep the first night or two so had to sleep with the windows closed. There was no air conditioning in the rooms. I was holidaying with my 17 year old daughter, and she was disappointed to find there was little or nothing to do in the evenings as the entertainment wasn't that great compared to other hotels we have stayed in.

Review 6：Very good location for beach and town. Lovely dining room overlooking the sea, very clean and good food. All inclusive was good, as the drinks etc in the dining room were self service so we did not feel embarrassed helping ourselves to more than one glass of wine with dinner if we felt like it. Also as we were two females holidaying alone, we felt really safe in the hotel and town as it was a very family orientated resort.

Review 7：Night time noise from other hotels in the close proximity made sleeping difficult especially when we had an early pick up to the airport the next morning. This was the only complaint that we had.

Review 9：The food was poor. We had a hotdog for lunch which smelt of vomit needless to say we were ill that night. Also disappointed that we paid half board abd was expected to pay for juice in the evening. The entertainment was poor. Rooms very basic, had a bed that squeaked awfully so had to swap them.

Review 11：Not really bad but a couple of issues. 1.The rooms didn't have A/C and they needed it as it was very hot. 2. There was supposed to be a dress code of "no shorts" at the evening meal. This was not enforced and guests were coming from the beach into the dining room. Not nice.

Review 12：The staff could not do enough for us. The location was spot on. Food was nice but not excellent. Rooms were OK We were told about the free wifi towards the end of our stay, would have been better if signs had been in place. The hotel is in need of a make-over.

Review 14：The location of the hotel was good (only a short walk into the centre of Cala D'Or). We had a room with a sea view - which was stunning. Reception staff were helpful (one lady in particular springs to mind). Good choice of food at breakfast

Review 22：The staff didn't inform us of the pool closure on arrival or inform us of bar opening times etc. No air conditioning in very hot rooms! Too many people placed in rooms making it overcrowded

Review 23：The location of the hotel is brilliant, straight down the steps behind the hotel to the beach! (Which was needed as the pool was closed for 2 days or overcrowded the rest!)

Review 24：The staff are incredibly helpful, happy and friendly. The hotel has a mixture of modern areas and areas of beautiful character making it a beautiful addition to a wonderful location. Like ourselves a lot of guests were returning guests and we will definetely be returning again.

Review 25：Be prepared to pay a little extra (5€ a day) for the air conditioner, which does not belong to the room by default (at least this was the case with single and double rooms) and is a separate machine which makes a lot of noise and is not very effective because needs an open window to put the hot air out, so the air from outside gets into the room and warms it up. The food was OK but all the same every day.

Review 27：Front desk Staff pretty curt/always seemed like I was bothering them when I asked a question. Bed pretty uncomfortable and room very small but workable. Annoying that they won't even let you bring a water bottle into the dining room, and hen try to charge you a ton for water on top of food buffet price.There were always kids splashing around in the pool which I didn't mind but it's not a super quiet place if that's what you're looking for

I went just before school holidays and was great value, not sure how much the price would jump up in peak times but great price when I stayed. Food was ok, nothing fancy but I would think most people could find something they liked. Room was clean and comfy, was nice to have a bath as well as a shower. I travelled alone and felt safe here. Would definitely stay here again. Also there is a boat trip company that goes from right by the hotel down a few steps from the pool, would recommend this as well.

Review 35：Nothing major to complain about! The positives outweigh the negatives however the wifi in our room was unreliable and only sometimes worked. The food was quite repetitive and nothing to get excited about but it did the job.

Review 49：The buffet food was ok but nothing to write home about, especially the meat dishes. This is the second time l have been to Cala Ferrera and both times l have seen lots of small jelly fish when snorkeling. I would recommend Cala Gran beach or Cala Esmerelda instead.

Review 50：I booked a single room but was pleasantly surprised to get a decent sized twin room. Although not a sea view room, l could just about see the sea from the balcony. The rooms on the roadside at the front of the hotel are not quite as good but the road is quiet. The hotel was not particularly modern but the room was freshly painted and very clean. There was entertainment some nights. Good location next to the sea. Cala D'Or is an excellent, upmarket resort, unless you are looking for night clubs (there aren't any). I have been six times and love the beaches, pedestrianised town, shops and marina.

Review 51：Room was fairly small, no a/c, not even fun. I've fund an empty bottle of Russian vodka in the wardrobe. Some nights the parties in Cala D'or were quite noisy but well, that's the tourists spot. The facilities overall pretty worn out. The TV set was from other century, poor programs (ie no cartoons for kinds).

Review 95：Gavimar is a 3 star hotel offering excellent facilities. Rooms are spacious and cleaned every day. Clean towels every day. Paying extra for a sea view is well worth it. Food very good particularly the salads and plenty of it. Staff very friendly.

Review 96：Too many improvements needed to make this hotel a good value stay. Poor standards throughout. Management need to rethink what is the appeal and usp's! Would never book again. Too basic in terms of service.
