Reviews for Hospederia El Cazadero Real
Review 1:Bathroom was outside the bedroom, not really convenient.
Review 2:Perfect location in El Rocío, at walking distance from everything. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Review 3:We loved it all. This hotel had an excellent location in El Rocio.
Review 4:We had a room on the first floor with a balcony that looked out over the marshes. it was wonderful to wake up in the morning to flamingos and spoonbills. The facilities were clean and comfortable and a good breakfast was provided for us each day. The staff were friendly and accommodating.
Review 5:The private bathroom was not in the room, but next door.
Review 6:Great location in El Rocio. Excellent service. When we had to leave early in the morning for a tour, breakfast was already prepared. We had a room with a terrace, that gives a nice view of El Rocio en the Parque. Be careful with driving in El Rocio, we got stuck in de sand the first time.
Review 7:Very friendly staff always eager to help. Very good English spoken by one of the managers, could easily make ourselves understood with the rest. Great location if you enjoy bird/wildlife watching. (Car essential).
Review 8:English speaking, attentive, very friendly, professional and symphatetic staff, great location, immaculate wi-fi, clean rooms, nice furniture, terrace, jacuzzi, view on Ermita and lake/marsh. You won't find better accommodation in this unique town.
Review 9:Having to leave as we all enjoyed the town and the fun that we had at the hotel.
Review 10:The views from the veranda are great, especially if you are interested in wildlife. The friendliest staff eager to inform and assist.
Review 11:Breakfast was poor. Nasty margarine, hard bread, ghastly juice. Northern Europeans would prefer to pay a bit more for quality ingredients and a good breakfast. Every other aspect of the hotel was first class. Ask for recommendations for restaurants! We 'ate' in the worst rest. in Spain. So horrendous it had been on telly. Ramsay's equivalent of Kitchens from hell... Shockingly bad! La Concha! On the square.
Review 12:Stunning location. Fascinating village. Access to Coto Donana national and natural parks. Friendly, helpful staff. Magnificent view over the park from glorious terraces and balconies.
Review 13:Absolutely nothing
Review 14:Loved the terrace looking on to the marshland. Breakfast was superb and Felipe made us very welcome. A great place for bird watching. We loved it
Review 15:Hotel was much better than expected. We had a 4 poster bed and large roof terrace overlooking lake, all at a budget price. Couldn't fault the hotel, or the location. Amazing town - like being in the old West (of America). People very friendly but little English spoken. Wish I could have stayed longer.
Review 16:Bolster pillow a bit hard. Room small. No English-speaking staff but we got by.
Review 17:Location with good view of the lake, with balcony area outside room, and close to church and heart of the town. Large bed with comfortable mattress, newly refurbished bathroom. Excellent wifi. Friendly staff. Continental breakfast was good value.
Review 18:Although we had a meticulously clean private bathroom, we had to go out of the door to access it. We though that we had amended our booking to get an inside bathroom but our Spanish was not good enough to question it.
Review 19:Very friendly staff, beautifully clean rooms and a lovely balcony with a view over the marshland of the Donana National Park. The sandy streets gave it a frontier town feel. It was particularly good to see horsemen and horse drawn vehicles go by.
Review 20:This was extremely disappointing as I booked it as it was very highly rated on booking.com. There is no English spoken which in itself is fine - but the only staff member who seemed to be on duty all day was surly and unfriendly. The outside terrace area was dirty, the breakfast should have carried a health warning - the same decaying fruit served each day, the private bathroom had to be accessed via the corridor with a separate key, the room was tiny with a four poster bed but no room to move. The staff member took his siesta each day in the lounge area, and had to get up to let us in if we returned between 3- 6 pm as the door key did not work, felt like we were disturbing him all of the time. I wish we had stayed at one of the other hotels in El Rocio which looked very nice.
Review 21:Location - amazing balcony overlooking ermita and horses
Review 22:We felt deceived and the room that we received didn't correspond to some of the aspects anounced: Very small room without toilet, sunbeds and wifi access in the room. The private toilet (for which we paid extra) wasn't inside the bedroom, neither even on the same floor (we had to go two stories downstares to go to the toilet). The bed sheets were filthy with sand. Difficult to find as no one seams to know it and there's no signs indicating where it stands. The nearest parking lot was paid and not free as anounced. The common areas are extremely noisy even if you don't speak loud, for which it was very difficult to rest.
Review 23:Rocio is a wonderfull place to visit and El Cazadero Real has an excelent location. Simple, but good breakfast.
Review 24:The private bathroom was not en-suite, and involved going into the corridor and using a key every time we needed access. Not too difficult - just slightly irritating
Review 25:Location was excellent. Large terrace with views of the marshes and church.
Review 26:nobody speaks a word English, not convenient for details. first time to find at 0800 o clock that no breakfast is ready and a cleaning lady needs to wake up hotel management (= 1 man) to start preparing this. Place is hard to find, no real indications or signs, satnav doesnt recognize the name indicated, and asking 100 meters away from the hotel, nobody knows, including the "usual" oldies hanging out in the park
Review 27:the location is a wild dream, you think you arrive in a spaghetti western with off-road sandy streets and horses. The hotel offers a very great view over the surrounding. Room is quiet and comfortable.
Review 28:We knew that the bathrooms were shared and sometimes that works fine. But unfortunately there was only 1 shower/WC per floor (and shared with 3 rooms). We coincided with another couple so that made a little delay for the start of our day.
Review 29:WiFi did not work in the room, only in the public area downstairs.
Review 30:Nice room with terrace. Great view. Good breakfast. Bathrobes and slippers provided, nice decoration!
Review 31:NOTHING.
Review 32:The whole atmosphere of the hotel AND the superb attitude of the staff, who could not have been more helpful.
Review 33:staff, very helpful and friendly. beautiful terrasse and view. very good location.
Review 34:Nothing
Review 35:Location, facilities, comfort, cleanliness, service and friendly staff.
Review 36:The private room was not in suite
Review 37:Very nice living area both inside and outside, where there is a wonderful view.
Review 38:Private bathroom was not en-suite. Church bells chimed all night.
Review 39:Nice welcome, friendly staff, great location. Wonderful views.
Review 40:Amazing place, definitely worth staying. Good brekfast, great drinks mixed by the owner. View on the wildlife from the terrace.
Review 41:Wish we'd brought our binoculars - there were flamingos on the lake which I could just make out from my camera!
Review 42:The views over the lake from the large balconies - definitely worth the extra. Quite small room but lovely, and very romantic. Breakfast is standard but enough to keep you going.
Review 43:Dodgy lights in one room,
Review 44:Great location, glorious sun terrace overlooking marsh and hermitage, staff easy going relaxed and did everything to help that they could, including providing blankets for the ladies to sit out with on a cooler evening!
Review 45:Nobody spoke English and the personal had a very strong accent in Spanish The breakfast was correct
Review 46:The price was very interesting The location was very good, in the middle of the city of El Rocio, near the marsh
Review 47:Beautiful chill out terrace which looks out onto the wetland of Coto Doñana National park ideal for bird watching or a relaxing break. The town of Rocio is like going bacj in time to a real life cowboy town with all the character of southern spain, great tapas and food and friendly people.
Review 48:walls are like build of paper.. you hear everything even in the opposite corner and different floor of the building!
Review 49:Location, City, great staff speaking english(!) a bit, very cool place to stay
Review 50:The room was very small, and had no ventilation unless you left the window open, which opened onto the main thoroughfare. Unfortunately, this allowed more noise of people talking (some of the staff had a tendency to talk very loudly to one another). With our room deal we were supposed to be able to use the kitchen, though I got the impression that the some staff were not in favour of this.
Review 51:The roof terrace had a great ambience when the younger guy working there played Cafe del Mar on the hi-fi. The roof terrace has a great view to the lake. The location of the hotel is very central.
Review 52:Room was a little small but with 4 poster bed! Excellent
Review 53:Location is superb overlooking the lake. The room had a balcony which made is extra special. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Review 54:I do wish that I could speak Spanish better to tell the owners what a great stay we had!
Review 55:This hotel is run by the most charming family who really want your stay to be special, and they do their best to make it so!
Review 56:Absolutely everything was perfect - but just note that the en-suite bathroom is next door to, but outside, the main bedroom.
Review 57:We liked: the warm and efficient welcome; the perfect location in the centee of El Rocio and our rooms had a view of the lagoon and a private sun terrace with beautiful sunset views; the evening gin and tonics were spectacular (six diffeent varieties to choose from); the breakfast; the fire in the evening - just a perfect location in this amazinfg little town.
Review 58:Great location Really friendly and helpful staff Relaxed atmosphere Very clean and well- appointed An amazing view from our balcony
Review 59:No option for early breakfast before 8am tour.
Review 60:Decor, included breakfast, terrace
Review 61:Near the church - the relegious site - and a terasse with a grandiosview over the lagune with the flamingos - the nature site!
Review 62:Very amiable staff, especially the owner. Personal attention.
Review 63:the location and the view through the window were perfect
Review 64:Relaxing and chilled out ambience of the place. Nothing was too much trouble for Loic and the staff.
Review 65:Nothing.
Review 66:We only stayed for the night but from what we saw the facilities were fantastic. Would have been great to be able to stay longer.
Review 67:Small rooms, shared bathroom when I booked a private one.
Review 68:Location, attention, cleanliness
Review 69:The great location and view with the most helpful and friendly staff were the key elements that made the stay both amusing and relaxing.
