Reviews for Hotel Sa Bisbal

Review 1:I would suggest improving the bed, cause it seemed to be not very convenient.

Review 2:Great place to stay, if you rent a car to explore the whole island. Strongly recommended.

Review 3:The Hotel keepers, Len and his wife Francesca, are super nice & friendly. You can tell they have years of experience at the hospitality business, excellent customer service. The breakfast is simple but so well presented, with a variety of cold cuts, breads, croissants, yogurt, fruits and even delicious freshly cooked scrambled eggs by request. And the freshly squeezed orange juice is just so good.

Review 4:Very slight niggles. Bed was a little saggy, we rolled into the middle. Aircon wasn't very efficient but as we were there in June this wasn't a problem.

Review 5:Fantastic location in the village, great breakfasts in the hotel restaurant, lovely big suite in the hotel.

Review 6:My only problem would be the bed. The matress was very hard.

Review 7:Lovely hotel with fantastic views. Staff were very kind and helpful. The honesty bar was fantastic and the garden with little pool was relaxing and private.

Review 8:I really could find no fault at all.

Review 9:A charming Anglo-Spanish couple run this hotel, which is in the centre of a charming little town. The beaches are a million miles away, but it's a perfect start for walks in the mountains.

Review 10:From arriving at hotel Sa Bisbal the Proprietors, Len & Franchesca were most helpful in every way, nothing being a problem to them. A classical Majorcan Manor House, possibly 17th century, had all the features to attract travellers with discerning, impeccable taste. Breakfast, of quality produce, was served in the patio area of the garden adding to the ambience of the surroundings. Our suite was spacious with king-sized bed, also bath and separate shower area. Also, we had our own small roof top terrace complete with chairs and sun beds. Breakfast was taken in the tree-lined terrace. The food was superb, always fresh on the day and the preserves were home-made from locally grown fruits, by Franchesca & Len. Also there is a Restaurant belonging to Sa Bisbal, this is situated in the village square only a short walk from the hotel. Very tasteful in design and gives a choice of dining inside or outside of the main restaurant.

Review 11:We had a wonderful 3-night stay at Hotel Sa Bisbal. Len was truly helpful with suggestions for our outings, and Francesca was very sweet about ensuring we were comfortable throughout our stay. Thank you again!

Review 12:Very friendly and convenient

Review 13:The kindness of Len, the quiet and unspoilt village around, the delicious meal at their restaurant

Review 14:Nothing.

Review 15:Helpfulness of the owner, the quaint building, the breakfast.

Review 16:nothing to do in that village and too dark in the room, small window

Review 17:Calm place

Review 18:A peaceful and comfortable hotel in a quiet, not-too-touristy village. Very good breakfasts, helpful owners.

Review 19:Len and Francesca are really friendly and helpful hosts, we will come back!

Review 20:Very helpful and friendly staff.

Review 21:Felt the springs through the mattress.

Review 22:Nicest people who run this bed and breakfast. Very quiet and relaxed. Breakfast good for such a small place with fresh orange juice every morning. Huge bath tub.

Review 23:Can't fault it but maybe a fridge upgrade would be good to keep the honesty bar icy cold ;-) although saying that Len always made sure the ice bucket was full of an evening!

Review 24:Len and Francesca are so welcoming and make you feel so at home, nothing is any trouble for them. The room we had was so spacious (compared to back home!) looked onto the garden and had its own terrace which was beautiful and quiet. This holiday experience was everything we hoped for and more and for us a real treat thanks to our hosts. Great location too and as much as most people probably wouldn't think much of the local town Inca we enjoyed going there to get a feel for authentic Mallorcan day to day life. Selva is a great base for heading north too - our favourite beach the lovely Cala San Vicenc near Pollenca.

Review 25:Nothing

Review 26:It was a beautiful building right in the old town. We had an excellent meal in the restaurant attached to the hotel. Lovely garden and public areas. Our bedroom had a great layout very spacious with a nice little balcony. Great place and I will recommend it to anyone coming to Mallorca.

Review 27:Nothing - but don't follow a sat nav to reach it - look for their signposts or the church!

Review 28:The hotel is full of character, with friendly staff & we'd recommend their restaurant. The hotel is as described and we loved it! Thank you.

Review 29:I have only positive feedback to give after our stay here. I will visit again soon. The hotel is stunning. Nothing too much trouble for Len and his lovely wife Francessca. Thank you.

Review 30:The hotel has a lot of character and the rooms are really, really nice. It's located right beside the church in the centre. Perfect location to walk to one of the restaurants. The location near the Serra Tramuntana is also perfect for hiking trips in the region. The owner of the hotel is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic. In short: This is a fabulous hotel and we will certainly come back

Review 31:- At night you could hear the timber worms gnawing in the beams. Not really a big issue however.

Review 32:- Excellent breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice. - Friendly and helpful staff. - Extraordinary interior.

Review 33:Hotel Sa Bisbal was perfect for what we wanted--a quiet, intimate, relaxing spot that was a convenient base for wandering through the mountains and heading off to the seaside. Len, Francesca and company were all wonderfully attentive and helpful. The rooms are very comfortable, not large. Breakfasts in the garden were a wonderful way to begin the day.

Review 34:Far from small towns-in a very cute little village but without any facilities around Breakfast too 'simple'

Review 35:Very warm atmosphere and pleasant lovely location in design/ancient manor house very beautiful

Review 36:Selva is a beautiful village but there aren't a lot of restaurants or bars. Great beaches and more bustling towns are easily accessible by car.

Review 37:Beautifully renovated townhouse in the centre of a medieval village. We stayed in a suite with a private terrace. The room was very spacious and light and we loved the design of the hotel. The pool area is small but nice - we spent most of our time at the great selection of nearby beaches. There is a good spread for breakfast including squeezed-to-order orange juice. Len and the team are extremely welcoming and friendly and knowledgeable about the island and offered great suggestions about sights, beaches and restaurants to visit. Selva is in a great position to access the rest of the island - rental car necessary.

Review 38:Staff was wonderful, very caring and making an effort to make us feel at home. The hotel is a beautiful old building, and rooms are especially spacious. Location is in a very laid back village, clearly off the beaten tracks.

Review 39:Too short a visit

Review 40:We loved everything! Beautiful hotel in a nice old house, top of hill, tastefully interior. Lovely breakfast in nice garden makes a god start for a day. Familiar reception and owner of the hotel. Very easy to give 10 of 10 points.

Review 41:Very nice staff. We can really recommend the hotel to friends.

Review 42:I wonder why an English hotel owner does not serve English breakfast. We missed eggs & bacon in the morning.

Review 43:Took a long time to run a bath!

Review 44:Delicious breakfast. Extremely helpfully when we need to change our flights. Excellent value dinner in the restaurant.

Review 45:breakfast lacked fresh fruit

Review 46:location tasteful conversion of old building small and friendly views peace and quiet

Review 47:A little hard to find.

Review 48:Very quiet and relaxing. Nicely appointed rooms and hallways. Good breakfasts. Warm and friendly hosts.
