Reviews for Hotel Casa Beletri

Review 1:used as stopover from france to southern Spain. Hotel room and bsthroom really big. Nice rustic Restaurant and tapas bar great food and lovely wines.

Review 2:We didn't find anything we didn't like about this hotel . In fact I would recommend this hotel for anyone who had a long trip as we did from Galicia to southern Spain.

Review 3:Comfortable and clean we have stayed there before and have found the staff both in the accommodation and the restaurant that is attached. The tapas in the bar/restaurant are really good

Review 4:Handy location for travelling through Spain. Just off the motorway. The adjoining bar was excellent for tapas and very reasonable, although don't opt for the main menu. A couple we met had a steak which was tough!

Review 5:You need an electrical engineering degree to run the lighting system in this hotel. There is no place to walk dogs near the hotel. Parking is on the main street through town which is very busy. Restaurant is overpriced.

Review 6:Located close tot he main freeway. Good selection of tapas in the bar that are well priced.

Review 7:Rooms, bed and bathroom extremely clean and comfortable. Excellent range of Tapas in bar and staff very friendly though very little English spoken made for an interesting experience and pleasant surprises.

Review 8:Didn't allow my dog in the bar so had to have my evening tapas and wine in my room and spend the evening on my own with a TV with only Spanish channels. Rather run down area.

Review 9:Spotlessly clean small hotel. Best range of tapas I've encountered during my 3 months in Spain. Perfect stop off from Southern Spain into France. Allowed dogs in the bedroom. Good wifi connection.

Review 10:Idiotically complex lighting / shutter system in room, not a deal breaker, but tiresome.

Review 11:Friendly staff, easy to find (Bejar sur - or south junction off motorway, then head for town, first building on the right), quiet at night, easy parking, tapas bar and restaurant on site. Nicely equipped bathroom.

Review 12:The location on a busy road and the fact that, while convenient for the A66, it was a fair way out of Bejar. The lighting system in the room which was unnecessarily complicated

Review 13:It was pet friendly. There was a suitable dog walking area opposite along the old railway track. The bar was busy and lively with an excellent selection of tapas. The food in the restaurant was very good. The reasonable prices.

Review 14:The location - on a busy road with several derelict buildings close by and nowhere pleasant to walk our dogs. The restaurant seemed expensive, but we had a perfectly good meal of tapas in the bar - much better value.

Review 15:Convenience - it is close to the main motorway we use when travelling to or from the ferry to our house in Portugal. Friendliness - pleasant staff, though they couldn't speak English. Interesting rooms - clean and comfortable. Pet friendly - we have two dogs, so this was crucial.

Review 16:At first glance the situation right on a road with the abandoned railway station opposite was offputting but once inside and later getting to know the walking options outside, not a problem.

Review 17:Staff very helpful and friendly. Dog made exceptionally welcome by staff and fellow customers. Tapas selection in bar second to none. Restaurant menu very comprehensive with many local dishes and good wine list. Food and service very good. This was our second visit and we would certainly return. Delightful walks from hotel either across the road and to the right and up into town or take the left along the disused railway line for an interesting excursion with many varied examples of plants, birds and wildlife.

Review 18:Very complex and baffling electric switches Slow service in Resteraunt

Review 19:Fine for 1 night Reasonable food Bath & Shower

Review 20:Too far to walk into town

Review 21:Spacious rooms

Review 22:Great staff, friendly and always ready to help.

Review 23:The breakfast is extremely basic. Orange juice, coffee and a toaster.

Review 24:Staff were lovely. Dinner exceptional value.

Review 25:Everything was perfect.

Review 26:On route to Portugal we could not find a nicer stopover. We have booked again for our return trip. Great value for money.

Review 27:great food and wine. clean room.

Review 28:Meal was not as good as expected. Nothing wrong with it but expected more interesting local food. Three of us had three different dishes but they all looked the same!

Review 29:Rooms, wine and staff. The beds were comfortably hard.

Review 30:The location initially was disappointing but once inside and warmly welcomed that didn't matter. The walk from the hotel into town whilst not particularly scenic was interesting and the old town was historically very interesting.

Review 31:Staff, comfort and cleanliness couldn't be faulted. Variety of Tapas in bar and quality as good as any experienced in Spain. Choice on menu in restaurant second to none including some local specialities, what we ate was very nicely presented, tasty and excellent value for money accompanied by a comprehensive wine list, the own label Rioja superb. The fact that our dog was made as welcome as we were, including in the Bar and restaurant was a huge bonus.

Review 32:Found that noise travelled into our room from the landing when people were moving around and also when in their rooms

Review 33:Good food in the restaurant. Just out of town, quiet although on one of the main roads

Review 34:Very easy to find and had been extremely well modernised. Staff had almost no English but were so willing to help that this didn't give us a problem.

Review 35:Awful breakfast - just a slice of tasteless french bread and rolls with margarine and a sachet of jam, served with similarly tasteless machine coffee. This represents poor value for money and because of this we won't be staying here again.

Review 36:Convenient location and easy to find en-route to Santander from the Algarve. Clean and dog friendly but our experience was marred by the poor breakfast.

Review 37:I booked the hotel as an overnight stop on my journey from Bilbao to the Algarve and it was probably a bit too far from the motorway. Breakfast was very strange consisting of coffee, orange juice and muffins.

Review 38:Room was very clean with good overnight facilities.

Review 39:Excellent location and easy to find. Gentleman on reception very friendly and helpful. Good selection of tapas in bar, reasonably priced, breakfast also well presented and good value for money. Room very comfortable and clean.

Review 40:Nothing - we would stay here again.

Review 41:We were travelling from Santander to Malaga and stopped overnight at this hotel. Lots of good points - easy free parking right outside, friendly staff, good tapas bar (full of locals) plus a la carte restaurant, beautifully restored stone building with modern bedroom/en suite facilities, only 5 min drive from the motorway.

Review 42:easy access to the motorways tapas bar excellent food and value for money

Review 43:Food was decent, but nothing special. Location near the main road and out of town.

Review 44:Big and comfortable room. Staff was pleasant.

Review 45:Nothing, we will return on our next visit to Spain.

Review 46:Good no fuss hotel, clean, good location, breakfast perfect and staff great.

Review 47:Close to the A66 so excellent stop over when travelling north to south. Hotel allows dogs at no extra cost

Review 48:not too many options (no buffet) for breakfast.

Review 49:Quality / Price relation

Review 50:The under floor heating and easy parking

Review 51:Long uphill walkinto town

Review 52:Good motorway access
