Reviews for Hotel Peymar

Review 1:A) False advertising of a jacuzzi and indoor heated pool, this is in the sister hotel but if you stay in Hotel Peymar then you pay €6 more and are not told this until last minute.(not as advertised) B) the food is only ok...it could be alot better. geared towards the German market. C) single room is tiny, wouldnt swing a cat in there and beds hard as rocks.

Review 2:Location is the best by far for this hotel. The Staff are helpful once they get to know you. The rooms are very clean and I compliment the cleaning staff.

Review 3:Loved the location, and the staff and facilities were brilliant however the walls were paper thin, I had neighbours on either side and could have joined in their conversation if I could understand them. The biggest problem was when my neighbours in the one room came home and were getting amorous! I could hear every sound which was very embarrassing and not at all pleasant. I am glad I was only there for 6 nights as I would not have wanted to hear that for any longer.

Review 4:Location was absolutely perfect and facilities were great, staff were friendly and very helpful.

Review 5:Hotel tired and run down. Having to pay more for "extras" (ie.TV aerial!!) or safety deposit box. Staff not particularly helpful. On arrival, door card (key) didn't work in daughter's room, but we were told nothing could be done until the "man" came at about 4:30. No apology, no alternative offered. Very poor customer service. It's a shame the hotel has been allowed to get so run down, as it's in a prime location.

Review 6:Location

Review 7:The food, really very poor. We were all inclusive but choose to not eat there after one day. It really was very poor.

Review 8:The staff were lovely especially the dining room staff. Very friendly & helpful.

Review 9:there is no self-service for water, so you have to ask for it. Not big deal however, stuff was very friendly.

Review 10:Location is perfect, the beach is few steps away, and other very nice beaches are 10-15 minutes away, so we had a chance to visit these as well. Food was excellent, as well as comfort in the hotel.

Review 11:Staff were friendly and helpful except for the balding man in the restaurant.

Review 12:Location on the beach and also near lovely Sa coma beach, proximity to bars and restaurants, clean and comfortable room ,towels changed every day, good breakfast and excellent evening meal for price paid.

Review 13:Pool was absolutely tiny! I got given an inner room which was like a shoebox, and had no window (only a blind that looked out over reception). I didn't spend much time in there for that reason...

Review 14:Location was right on the beach.

Review 15:No real bad experience but standard of food served isn't the best

Review 16:The location is ideal if you want a relaxing break on the beach with excellent restaurants on your doorstep. The staff in the hotel are excellent, especially the bar staff, service with a smile!

Review 17:Nobody at reception for check-in or check-out and when they finally came they were not friendly. One towel, no soap, TV not working, 4 broken light bulbs, breakfast was so bad.

Review 18:The location

Review 19:The hotel was quite old. You had to be careful with the door which had a problem with the locker. The wifi was underpayment (15€ for a week). The swimming pool was not that clean.

Review 20:The position was great. Very close to the beach. The food was not bad. The staff very nice and friendly except one of the receptionist that was quite rude (the one with the curly hair).

Review 21:Breakfasts were at best average

Review 22:loved the hotel and friendly staff. In a great location with easy access to the rest of the island. Good evening meals.

Review 23:Location was great - right on sandy beach with lots of restaurants and bars either side - S'illot is a lovely old Spanish village and this hotel was a great base to explore at a fantastic cost. Breakfast was amazing with everything to chose from . Our room was just a basic economy but couldn't fault it for comfort and space. A great hotel for a cheeky few days away to relax in the sunshine.

Review 24:Enjoyed our stay, location is fantastic, rooms were clean, staff were very nice, helpful and friendly. To be honest the food was ok always found something to eat, but have had much better in all inclusive 3 star hotels in Mallorca . Liked the idea of helping your self to coffee, soft drinks and beer and never had to queue for a drink. The resort is very quiet, the beach is lovely and very good for young children as very shallow for quite a way out. There is plenty of shops, bars and restaurants and very central for visiting the eastern side of the island. We would definitely stay in this hotel again.

Review 25:Unfortunately the bar staff must work for commission on drinks they sell therefore they were not very friendly to those guests on an all inclusive stay who preferred not to pay for drinks which came free with our package, this included gin and tonics, whisky and vodka and were not happy serving us these and the still water that we asked for to take to our rooms at night. In the end I bought a bottle of water from the spar 2 doors up as they were so grumpy! The hotel pool is rather small, ideal if you only want a cooling dip but not for swimming and the beach quite busy. Though early morning or late afternoon bathers could enjoy a proper swim when the beach was not so busy. Because of it's location to the beach the toilets downstairs had to be opened with a key card and you could borrow one from reception if you didn't have yours on you but this was a bit annoying, though we could understand why this was necessary.

Review 26:The location to the beach was great and the bar area has a café atmosphere as it attracts passing trade. The hotel was very clean and very comfortable and all the staff except the bar staff were lovely. The beach was sandy and also had a rocky area ideal for a bit of snorkelling. The area in general has many shops and bars but still manages to retain a uniqueness that we found charming. The hotel entertainment was good and by 11.30 all was quiet and all you could hear then were the waves on the shore. The bar/café area of the hotel was a great place to people watch with a view of the sea, and my husband managed to work there on his computer in the mornings relatively undisturbed. In contrast to the bar staff the restaurant staff were lovely and the cleaners worked hard to keep the sand under control and kept the hotel spick and span. The receptionists too were very helpful. Overall we had a good holiday at the Hotel Peymar in S'Illot Mallorca

Review 27:Hotel not friendly for kids, doors to room not locked good enough against smaller kids, balcony not cover for them too. Problems with air conditioning, smelly badly. Small swimming pool. Reception not taking all requests seriously.

Review 28:Very close to beach!!! Very, very friendly staff in restaurant and bar!!!

Review 29:Noise. If you pick the room on the town side - be prepared to suffer from all kind of noices - drunk people, cars, music. Hotel is surrounded with other buildings so sounds are bouncing from the walls which makes them three times louder! be prepared to have ear plugs or something otherwise its hard to sleep if you are bad sleeper.

Review 30:First of all I want to admit that stuff is SUPERB!!! Especially guys and Sabrina in the lobby bar. I never met such dedicated, fast, lovely and happy people like these three. Many thanks for working so hard and so well! Hotel is old and very charming. They take care of it very well. Some rooms are on the small side, but thats fine. Housekeeping is good too. Food is more than enough, various and tasty dishes, I was happy all the time. Some say that their coffee is not good - well I am a big coffee lover and I was absolutely happy with their coffee! Locations is great.

Review 31:Alittle tlc wouldn't go a miss to some parts of the rooms. Food very basic but ok for a weekend

Review 32:On arrival the receptionist and bar staff greeted us in a warm and welcoming way. Location PERFECT.

Review 33:Music was playing until really late A lot of older people 60+ Slightly outdated- the bathroom for ex.

Review 34:location- it's on the beach the decor

Review 35:The location of the hotel was excellent, being right on the beach and close to shops and restaurants. The Staff are really friendly and very helpful.

Review 36:Shame it was dirty.

Review 37:Great location, excellent value for money.

Review 38:bedroom is a little too small and noisy not completely all-in

Review 39:the location the food the beautiful public rooms the bathroom the seaview

Review 40:Not changing bedding, rare supply of shampoo

Review 41:Reception and personal were great, always helpful and attentive. The situation of the hotel is superb.

Review 42:Food, waitress, reception, location, bedroom

Review 43:Nothing

Review 44:Single internal rooms with no views, apart from the foyer area!!

Review 45:Location is perfect. Lovely quiet area too

Review 46:Location - could not be better! Food - found always something delicious! Staff - very friendly!

Review 47:the location

Review 48:use wifi 15euró/one person (mobile) and the tv was a joke rather there isn't

Review 49:location, cookies and cakes very delicious

Review 50:The fact that the coffee included was very poor and to get a proper cup you had to pay extra and alcoholic drinks ie. beers, sprits were included

Review 51:Location, Location.

Review 52:Drinks are very poor, the water smell and taste is bad, even in restaurant, it was with taste of bleach. Wi-Fi is for charge:/, and rather expensive. There is no fridge. There is no shower near the beach.

Review 53:The food was rather good, specially dinner. Rooms are tidy. Interior was nice and cosy. Staff was polite and helpful.

Review 54:The internet although paid, is terrible (and it's one device at a time). I've paid for half pension but the food is horrible so we went out every night to eat. Beds are not so comfortable.

Review 55:Staff is really friendly, the hotel is really close to the beach. I arrived late in the first night and they had food prepared for us even though the restaurant was closed. There is an available parking place nearby. The hotel is really beautiful and nicely decorated.

Review 56:The breakfast and the drinks in the bar were awful quality. We did not go all-inclusive, so if we are paying for something at least we expect a good quality drinks. All inclusive is only attractive before you taste the stuff and it was way below the acceptable. Yet most of the guests didn't mind.

Review 57:The Staff in the hotel is very friendly and attentive. The rooms are comfortable (even those on a smaller side) and great showers! if you want to stay in S'Illot- this is a very nice hotel, however if you pay room only trend and eat/drink somewhere else

Review 58:Paid WiFi access makes it inconvenient and deposit for TV remote control.

Review 59:S'Illot amazed us with various animation - live music creating nice ambience in the evening. For the day, Cala Millor offers better beaches and sea activities. The hotel itself is very well located whichever transport you use (bus station is just over the bridge). The staff is helpful in any question you have and ensures you find it all to accommodate yourself, shares hints and tips, friendly and speak different languages (English, French, Spanish, German,...). The food (all you can eat) is great, always fresh and some is cooked in front of you, diverse, gastronomic. The hotel features design elements (halls, stairs, corridors...) and brings you back to the past.

Review 60:Food and hotel design was very good.

Review 61:Room smelt of smoke, some bathroom fitments broken

Review 62:Great location, good value rooms, excellent daily cleaning service

Review 63:Very nice hotel, very good location, very friendly barmens. We had a nice time in Peymar

Review 64:Food was poorer than poor. Especially the breakfast was terrible and the coffee undrinkable. Terrible.

Review 65:Rooms were clean, staff friendly

Review 66:nothing

Review 67:staff was helpfull and friendly, food fantastic, room very nice, cleanness, location direct next to the beach...highly recommended
